Why not stay in an apartment? I guess if your company's paying then cost won't be an issue but I find that Ukrainian girls often have a complex about coming back with you to your hotel room. They can have a very fixed idea that "only bad girls go to hotels". This isn't true in 100% of cases but it's best to be on the safe side if you chase freebies.

I actually come to Kiev 3-4 times per month on business and on my company's expense note. I always stay 1 or 2 nights and decide to come on a short notice, so arranging for a flat is a little bit complicated (my travel agency just books and pays for Hyatt or any other >5-stars location, but apartment rental seems too tricky to manage also on the fiscal side)

Honestly staying in an upscale hotel has never been a big issue. Girls also think that sexpats use to stay in apartments, while coming regularly on business and staying in an hotel is more credible and interesting in their "scouting" perspective (I almost never score on the first night!). Hyatt does not ask for girls' documents or bribes like other hotels in Kiev, so at the end I can manage :-)

Actually there was free food at RP last night. The management set us up with Pizza, wings and hot dogs - no free girls tho.

Maverick, Dr S and myself were the only members of ISG to show up. The game went right down to the last tick and by the time 530 rolled around there wasn't too much left - not that the evening was really good at anytime. We had reconed from 1200-0110, then at half time. There were a couple of girls sitting on the couch in the lobby waiting for the metro to open at 0600. Meet her for a drink - well, might as well meet her for dinner since you are going to all this effort. Watch out for the taxi scam (girl asking for crazy money for taxi's - or girls even asking for money for taxi's at all) and the translator date scam.

Going to Kiev yourself is about a hundred times easier then what you propose. And if things don't work out you can always hit River Palace.

If the girl is young it will be very difficult for her to obtain visa for a western country because the authorities in Ukraine regard every young good looking girl asking for visa as a potential pro who is going to get trafficked.

So first you need to communicate with the british embassy in Ukraine to tell you what papers are needed from your side. The girl has also to communicate with the embassy to be informed about the documents needed. Does she have a passport? If yes, the procedure can be fast provided the translated documents are delivered. In order to raise the chances to obtain a visa you should contact some english lawyer who has office in Kiev as well. I am sure there are some of them. They usually have the appropriate connections to get visas.

It isn't quite as simple as just turning up at the British embassy bunging them a few quid and getting a stamp in the passport (trust me on this), if you want advice on this pm me. I would personally come here for a visit and see for yourself.

In my expereince most Foreign Embassies are very, VERY strick and have many controls and 'cross-checks' in place to keep SUCH 'dealings' from happening!

Two personal experiences, used to know a guy who worked for the US Emb in VISA section. NO WAY, to get any pull from him! Too afraid to lose his cushy post. Also was a friend of the former Austrian Ambassador, he point blank told me to never broach the subject again of his help in a VISA.

I rather doubt some lawyer can do better. Other than to make certain you 'cross the T's & dot the I's! '!
