I see obvious P4 P girls standing outside of what look like indoor bars, but absolutely no japanese lettering and no real signage at all. And no obvious tourist infrastructure nearby, nor is it accessible by MRT. I'm not even sure what these places are called, so I don't know how to search for reports, but I feel that there may be no reports on them. I believe they are located on or around Pracha Suk Alley and Sutthisan Winitchai road. But certainly south of Sutthisan and not north of it, on different roads as well. Sorry for being vague but I wonder about these places.

Also, as for low cost, Thai oriented places that are well known / talked about. Colonze 2 has soapies girls at 1700 baht. They're behind The Lord. Models go for 2300 baht upstairs (Colonze 2). The place is mostly visited by Thai's. But the rooms are really moldy and old though. There are Thai focused places, and they have decent prices. Some are higher end, some are visited by japanese / other sex-tourists and have higher prices as a result of that.

To the right of the cheap girls there are sideline girls for 2500 baht and upstairs you pay more than that for the 'models'. Last time I chose a 2500 baht girl and her face, body and attitude were great, and the room was really nice too, not old and mouldy at all. Anyway, I wonder what the catch is with those 1700 baht girls. I did notice they all have dark skin so that might be it, but I worried they were hiding baby damage. Papasans there are really grumpy so I've never asked them.

Every December / January demand spikes through the roof and Go Go girls can raise their prices and still find plenty of willing customers. Then for the rest of the year the December price no longer clears the market and only the most popular girls enjoy business every night while most average Go Go girls can go days even weeks without a barfine. Why the less in demand girls do not lower their price to attract customers or at least show a willingness to negotiate is beyond my understanding. I guess it has something to do with saving face. I don't know.

On Jakarta vs BKK: prices have risen sharply in CGK over the last 15 years and quality girls are very expensive now. Believe me. I wish I had discovered this city in 2000 and not in 2013 like I did. But the town still has a lot to offer.

For example at Malioboro (my favorite bordello / club / sauna) prices are 800,000 rp ($62) & 1,100,000 rp ($84) for harem girls, 1,600,000 ($123) for foreign girls (Viets & Chinese), and 2,100,000 rp ($161) for top of the line sexy Indo dancers. The harem girls a roughly the equivalent to average Go Go girls or Thermae FL's. The dancers are young and arguably better looking than most Go Go girls. These prices do not include drinks which are expensive. I forget what a double shot Tequilas sells for. A lot though, Ha Ha and single shots are not available. Officially LTs takeouts are available but at 3 x ST in house rate after 11 pm or 5 x ST in house rate before 11 pm. Fortunately my favorite Malioboro girl likes to visit me at my hotel on her free nights. I give her 1,500,000 rp ($115) for the entire evening not including drinks and dinner which is a pretty good deal for both of us because on those nights that I stayed in Malioboro after a session and partied for a few hours buying more than a few double Tequilas; the tab went well over $200 and even up to and over $300 on special occasions so not a cheap night by any stretch.

Meanwhile across town really sexy Indo FL's at CJ's ask 1,000,000 rp ($77) for ST and 2,000,00 ($153) rp for LT. So as you can see Jakarta is not cheap! I don't go to Jakarta to save money. 555. I usually spend more here in Jakarta on a nightly basis than I do in BKK. But on a comparative basis I do think that the Malioboro 2. 1 k dancers are really sexy and better looking than 90% to 95% of the BKK Go Go dancers and that these Indo dancers have damn good attitudes. The reason I suppose is that they haven't been spoiled, YET.

Of course one can always choose to go frugal in Jakarta too and sometimes be rewarded with finding a diamond sweetie in the rough. For example, Classic Hotel harem girls are 250,000 rp ($19) ST. It should be noted that a lot of Locals hit Classic Hotel. They have two floors with loads of girls, but like I said, quality and service is hit or miss.

The thing about Jakarta is they have variety with the high quality super expensive places, cheap less quality places, and a whole lot in between. The bad thing is everything is spread out far apart. It is not that Jakarta is hostile or anything like that. It is just that Jakarta is not a tourist friendly place like BKK where everything is at ones fingertips more or less. I like Jakarta girls a lot, but 2 weeks in that city per trip is enough for me. I would not like to live here full time. And perhaps it is for this reason that I do not believe Jakarta will ever be a monger mecca like BKK or Pattaya.

However, I'm not entirely sure it exists, except maybe at the higher-end Thai-oriented venues (in the ballpark of 10 k baht). Unfortunately, that's way too much money to simply take a chance in the name of research, so I'm not familiar with that scene.

From what I observed, there aren't any hidden gems in the Thai-oriented scene (in terms of venues, impossible to say about individuals).

You might get an occasional great looking girl (surely better average than Nana), but it would be exceedingly hard to get service anywhere near the standard of PSE oilies which a discerning Farang monger expects, especially at higher price points. Either that, or you can get a bottom-end price (400-800 baht) for a bottom-end streetwalker / brothel service. Moreover, there aren't that many Thai-oriented places which would deny service to a polite, low-key Farang who speaks a bit of Thai, it's just that they generally don't provide the setup / service that we find comfortable and satisfactory.

As an aside, virtually all of the spots in the Thai scene I know (mostly at the lower end) are in rapid decline, probably a steeper decline than those in the Farang scene.

1) $19 for ST at Classic up to $161 for ST at Malioboro in Jakarta.

2) $29 for ST with a SW on Soi 4 up to $165 for an "M" category girl at the Lord up to the $229 (the stratosphere) just to make the acquaintance of a G-Club gal in BKK.

Think of the high end as almost the same prices as Tokyo or Macau. That said, I think you can still find some nice BKK girls in the 2000bt to 3000bt range. On my next trip I plan to work the social media sites like Badoo and Thai Friendly and see what happens.

I have met at least 3 must do girls over the last 2 years or so at Crazy House: all with pretty much faultless bodies, and pretty faces, Chronologically: Nat (Nut) (8 face, 10 body) , May Lee (9 and 9), and Donut (9 and 9). All of these are "must repeat" girls, should I see them. Nothing much to criticize. Problem is these girls are rarely seen and first two are gone. Guys who did not attend regularly, probably never met any of them.

Can I find better looking girls, than these 3, somewhere else? Not really. If I did, they would be on my list. Palm (9 and 10), a coyote that used to work in Mercury was equal or perhaps even better than all 3 (hard to tell since never saw her naked). Must try to find out what happened to her.

The gorgeous girls have to exist somewhere? Where is that? My taste is a bit different to typical Thai, since top Thai entertainment venues usually have Coyotes that are too altered and not to my taste.

That was the catch. I moved on. I prefer venues with a more sizable line up so there is a chance to discover my type. Perhaps I needed to arrive much later like 19:30 or so.

Try the soi over next with bada bing, black pagoda and those bars. I found it far more interesting and without the experience you had. The drink push didn't seem much more than any other gogo. Bada bing was a bit more aggressive but not as bad as you describe. Be warned though the coyote dancing crew wanted crazy money. Something like 8 k for ST, on a slow week night, I almost laughed out loud.

One worrisome lady did tell me the rates were 600 BF and 2500 for her. She said the girls on stage were 1800 BF and 3000 for the girl. This was confirmed by a passing waitress tho she crossed out 2500 and put 3000. No idea why the difference in bar fine amount. One I did like came 5 minutes before closing. That was a fun taxi ride to home from Asoke to On Nut last night!

Had to stop at McDonalds by the Robinson, as there was simply no taxi's around because of heavy rain. And the remaining ones refused to drive even for 200 Baht Charge.

So ate there and let time pass a bit. Managed to catch a taxi at Soi 19 and he tried to drove me home. Had to turn around at PromPhong and take the route over Rama IV. Klong Toei was the trouble, when finally out at Prakanong everything was fine again. The flood was sometimes higher on the street as the boarding stones at the side, saw several House Slots flooded already. Guess life sucks a bit this time when you living in this area. Me and the taxi driver had fun together trough the ride. Usual rate to my home is 60-70 Baht. Yesterday meter stopped at 125 and gave him 200 Baht for his effort and time.

I've looked through the reports and it seems that the midnight closing time is still being enforced? I'm landing Saturday night at 11:00 PM and through the years have honed my post landing actions so I can get out of the airport, checked-into the hotel, cleaned up, and into one of my favorite bars on Soi Cowboy by 12:30 or at the latest 1:00 AM. But that looks like it's not good enough this time with the early closing times.

One of my options is to set something up with some bar girls I know who will probably be up for it, if they don't get bar fined. If they get offered, I know they'll take that first. Bird in hand. I'm almost always alone but this time I'm with a buddy and this is his first time ever in Thailand, so I want to show him a good time too. So that's another reason I don't really want to set up a "date" in advance on his first night ever.

I always really look forward to the first night, and always have a great time. So what can I expect?

Can anyone help me with some options at 1:00 AM? My fallback was to just walk the lower Sukhumvit and Soi Nana, but is that even an option?

Vancouver is known as Hongcouver, so it should really be included as part of Asia, right?

Half the girls walking DT Vancouver streets seem to be Asians, many of the hot type you'll find in Singapore or BKK malls.
