Shark was a favorite of mine for a while and had many repeat girlfriends from there over the years. Selection was always solid if not tops, but service was always consistent and no BS in the bar. I don't know why the place doesn't attract much attention. Avoid those outside girls but inside no coyotes, no LB, drinks are strong and girls are solid.

If you are partial to doggy and a girl who really enjoys it ask for Ing. Don't know her number right now. She has some well done man made boobs, a decent nose job, a good body and a decent face and is a no bullshit girl. She can do pretty well in CG too and a decent BJ, but pulls off at the end like most thai girls. She was a repeat of mine a while ago. If you do pull her msg me I would be interested to know how it goes.

It's my first time in Bangkok and I wanted to contribute on here and give a newbie's perspective on Thermae. I have read some mixed reviews on the place, but as not much of a drinker or big on partying, I like the simplicity of the set-up with no lady drinks or bar fines needed. It's efficient and straight to the point, but it does have some downsides as far as judging chemistry goes since it's about a minute of small talk before they ask you to take them out. I am in my late 20's, decent shape and Asian American and figured I should do OK there. I would say I got looks and smiles from 80% of the girls there. Getting one to go with me wasn't difficult, but I think getting good service is another matter. Another thing is the lighting inside is very poor and some of these girls are very good at makeup. I ended up doing one ST for 2500 and another LT for 5000. These seem to be the going rates as I was quoted them multiple times.

The LT girl I went with looked like a very solid 8 or 8.5 with makeup and more like a 6 when I saw photos on her phone of her without. We ended up chatting for a long time and from what she told me, many of the girls have had bad experiences with farangs, Indians and Arabs from not getting paid to poor treatment. She also said they just weren't her type and already makes good money, so she can pick and choose who she wants to go with. I was pretty exhausted, so it wasn't the biggest deal but was disappointed to not be offered a 2nd shot for LT before she left in the morning. I guess it was a rookie mistake to not specify how many shots during negotiation. Other than that, she was really nice and lots of fun.

The ST girl was largely forgettable. It was also the classic case of never rushing your choice in there and jumping at the first decent option. I pretty much instantly regretted it before even getting back to the hotel. The service was also not the greatest as she wanted to get it done as quick as possible to get back for another customer.

With a bit of experience under my belt now, I think I should be able to navigate it better when I go back. This seems like it should be a good spot for me specifically. I don't think it is ideal for foreigners as Asians just seem to be the preference for most girls there.

I'm on it! Or, hopefully, on her! I'll let you know. My potential tequila BF wasn't there last night, but the outside girl was, though fortunately with another customer.

However, in a Bkk bar, I guess nobody is policing the rules, so you can sip sip sip without fear of any sanction.

I always do this because they always under pour and after my first request to fill it the following shots are filled to the top. You only have to ask once per visit.

There are many tequila brands which advertise their product to be enjoyed on the rocks or neat without the salt.

I have visited many wonderful bars in Mexico which presented tequila as if it were a fine scotch. Each time, it was amazing.

Though, I highly doubt you'll find those nuanced beverages in a Thai bar.

I ignore many girls. If they ask to sit with me, I simply say no. If they try to sit on my lap, I prevent it. If they try to massage I stop them. If they sit uninvited I ignore them even refuse to enter into conversation.

Mostly they give up quickly unless very drunk girls can be a problem.

Just learn to blissfully ignore, or shoo girls away. After all we want to choose the girl. It helps a lot if you call some girl over of your choice.

The more aggressive the girl, the more I don't want her. I don't want bossy or rip off girls.

As soon as you get too polite with girls, it only encourages them. Give absolutely no encouragement. I refuse to even look at them. They get the message if I am looking elsewhere.

These levels of totally ignoring people probably don't come naturally. You need to train yourself.

I went to the Rajah Hotel and was looking forward to having some Russian or white girls. It's now basically a whole on the ground and a construction zone. I don't really want to wait the 2 years for the new building, any hints where I can find the same set up / Russian girls in Bangkok now. Tonnes of cute African ladies on Sukhumviet right now with fantastic booties but I want a white girl or even a Columbian.

I used to be able to go into a gogo bar and basically be left alone until I'd chosen a girl and when I did she would sit and nurse her glass of cola for ages while she did her best to politely persuade me to 'pay bar'. Now the bars are full of screeching, tattooed, tequila-swilling harridans who instead of taking the hint that I'm not interested pull up the sides of their mouths in that annoying 'smile at me' gesture. It's possible to ignore all that rubbish, and that is what you should do, but the whole experience is no longer enjoyable for me. I would love it if the whole lot of them went out of business and were replaced by massage parlours and blow job bars.

I do love go-go's overall. They are why I keep returning to Thailand. The ability to see hundreds of naked girls in one night is very appealing to me.

The first time I went to Thermae is back in 1995 price for ST then is 700 bht and 1500 bht for LT customer is mostly farang and the place is pack after midnight and open til the morning HR now days is mostly Japanese customer and the girl is spoil with attitude only want Asian customer that will paid the top dollar now days is a hit and miss on weekend they have some hot girls there, I think you need to ask for multi shots and don't paid the girl upfront for 5000 bht you should get 2 shots.

Like the East European girls? You will not need to go further east than Berlin to find a glut of them, with no significant language barrier to the monoglot. (No, you don't need to find some some FKK club located on the back end of some obscure industrial town of no interest). But, right now I got yellow fever and I can't imagine what you are thinking.

Some bars defintely have a higher standard. The price is the big disadvantage if we want to be really straight.

For me looks and GFE and enthusiasm are more important than service levels.

Once become a little bit known at a bar, most girls will leave me alone. Even service staff will tell bar girls not to hassle me.

Perhaps no bars this week since my long term favorite is staying LT each night. I don't tell my other regulars that I am here.
