Mombasa is great at Christmas!!
Hey all,
I'm considering spending Christmas and new year abroad this year. How is Mombasa that time of year? Do all the girls go home to their families on Christmas or are there still plenty of action around? I'm interested in both pros / semi and non-pros.
I'm also considering Ghana, or any other African nation. Is any of them better or worse / lively or dead around Christmas / new year?
I was last Christmas and new year at mombasa it was great time!! The weather was perfect not to hot and not to cold. Was plenty of girls around for pick up at night clubs, bars, bamburi beach, badoo, tagged, nyali nakumatt shopping mall. At new years eve some clubs was so busy was not posible to find a seat to sit and need order drinks next to the bar because its was difficult to find waitress in all crowd off people.

I just checked on taxify app tuk tuk cost from naivas shopping mall at nyali to casaurina disco at mtwapa is just between 80-110 shillings is so cheap unbeliavable! Last time if I take normal tuk tuk from street for the same journey they will ask you 400-500 shillings but you can bargain them to 250-300 shillings (its the lowest I get few times). Taxify is great before I always use them for book taxis, because they cheaper than uber and have polite drivers with clean cars now they have cars and tuk tuks already at mombasa and cars and boba bodas at nairobi. Its good when not need to deal anymore with shitty taxi and tuk tuk mafia at mombasa anymore!! Will add screenshoot for trip cost from naivas to casaurina (mtwapa).
