Putting the puzzle together
The Zeta article mentions Angela by name. Two weeks after it was published the fiscalia (prosecutors office) called her mother to confirm that they had identified her killer. We have confirmation from the Baja California the's office that the serial killer they announced at the press conference is wanted for the murder of Angela at hotel Cascada.
We don't know if this guy has a residence in Riverside, Angela's mother and I tracked her cell phone to an address there, and shared that with the authorities. Her phone was never retrieved and to my knowledge no law-enforcement ever went to this address. No US law enforcement was even involved at all (according to my contact at the FBI) until shortly after Zeta broke this news. I was in contact with the FBI immediately after Angy was killed, but there was nothing they could do until Mexican authorities requested assistance. That did not happen until November. I personally believe that the Zeta article prompted the attorney generals office to hold the press conference because the cat was out of the bag. I will be eternally grateful to Elizabeth's family for not letting this go quietly. It was her family that brought this to the media's attention, staged a March, and refused to let this just be another dead chica. I am plagued by the thought that if we had gone to the media when Angy was killed, maybe Elizabeth wouldn't have died.
The part they have wrong was her making an appointment by phone with this guy. She went to Hong Kong for her shift, this guy offered to buy her and her friend a beer which they obliged. They talked for a bit he tried to negotiate, her friend declined to go with him, but Angela decided to anyway (this is straight from the girl she was hanging with at HK on 1/24). Angela went upstairs to room 404 with this guy and never left alive. Angela had regular clients, it would not have been strange for her to plan on meeting one of them in the club during her shift. But the account from her friend, and the messages she sent her mother all indicate that she was unfamiliar with this client / man.
HK is HK, I'm just mad that the girls feel the illusion of security by working at such an established club. I understand why they needed to keep it quiet and call it an overdose. Murder is bad for biz. But I have read her autopsy, and nobody who walked into that room thought this was an overdose. Even the Semofos (emt's) who were on site (yes, I was there) were saying overdose. The scene in that room (based on the state of her body in the autopsy) was so brutal and sadistic that I consider them to be complicit in the cover-up.
So. There are many articles out now that mention Angela by name, I believe all of them site Zeta as their source material. I don't know for sure if Brayan Andrade Rivera killed Angela, but I do know that the district attorney of Baja California has issued a warrant for him for her murder in Cascada.
I don't know for sure if Brayan Andrade Rivera killed Angela, but I do know that the district attorney of Baja California has issued a warrant for him for her murder in Cascada.
The Zeta article I had read in their site was different than the one I went back and read that was posted here by Dogers. I did see how they named her and Cascadas. The biggest question I have is why the journalist didn't pressure Cascadas more on how she was found dead and them letting the guy go. All of us know that the workers are very close to the rooms and quick to ask for a tip as soon as you walk out so it seems odd that this guy could walk out with such ease. So I went back to your first post on this board and the stories you told that happened. Most of the stories you are consistent with while other things are a little confusing or maybe I misunderstood what you were trying to say.
Some of what I write might seem insensitive but I'm just trying to understand everything that happened and maybe why you didn't do more. I also remember when this happened that guys were talking about 2 girls dying and some of it might have been a story planted to out a former poster here who's GF might of been testing to see if he was talking about her online. It's odd because if you go back a few pages from your first post that guy talked about a warning of a customer in HK that spends big money to get girls to go with him outside the club and beats them up and leaves them on the road to Tecate but HK knew who he was and had warned the girls. So at the time it just seemed like a lot of crazy stuff going on and in some ways it felt like a few girls in HK were maybe making up stories on here to try and hurt HK by clients not going. So soon after HK started with the rules of checking on the rooms more and trying to force guys to buy drinks for girls in over an hour. Unfortunately as more info came out it wasn't all a smear campaign which make me wonder about other things.
So she texted the mom at 10 ish the room number and 30 min. Now a poster asked you why she texted the mom since us in the US don't usually think that the family knows what these girls do for a job but from the girls that I meet its pretty common. To me it seemed more odd that it was the mom living in Tijuana usually the girls aren't from Tijuana and the family isn't here except maybe a baby if they have one. So I was thinking that you might of claimed it was the mom when actually it was you that she texted. You mentioned in later posts that she wouldn't accept money from you but it's odd the love you had for each other why you continued to let her work. When I got involved with my ex she worked while we dated and sometimes complained that she was missing work to spend time with me and didn't have much money, I told her she wouldn't have to worry about money if she stopped working and lived with me but I couldn't pay her for her time as a boyfriend. Maybe you already have a family in SD or something but I always wondered what your relationship with her really was.
So after the 30'min no text is sent that she is ok and when a text is sent to her phone it's ignored and soon after another text and the phone was turned off. That's when the mom gets worried and decides to call you first or she goes to HK to check on her. So the mom is made to wait for 12 hours with Cascadas saying that nobody is in the room and basically saying she is crazy. Now at some point you arrive and are trying to get them to open the room. So here is another part I don't understand. If I was a mother I would go crazy on them and get the police or something to make them open the door or if you were there why not try to do more make a scene. In one of the posts I think it was you in Spanish sending a message to other girls that the cops and everyone was paid off because it would be bad for business. So the journalist from Zeta for some reason doesn't try to look into this more and as bad as them letting a girl get murdered and let the guy go isn't as bad as the story of them trying to cover it up. I find it hard to believe that nobody would talk in private with the journalist from Cascadas or HK. Now the HK staff might not know exactly what happened since it was a hotel matter but I imagine word got to them quickly that something had happened.
So finally she is removed from the room and they say it was an overdose, now you claim she never did drugs and I know we always want to believe the best of the ones we love but the Zona makes people do things that they normally wouldn't. Also many guys and some girls are into being strangled during sex. I think many sickos watch porn and how women are treated and they get it in there head that if the girl is a prostitute that they can be treated the same way. So in one of your posts you mentioned that you were there and how the body was found in the room and that you couldn't believe that it was anything but murder. So this is one story that you didn't seem consistent on so I would like you to clarify it. Because if they said the room was empty before and they suddenly open it up and let you in and it's obviously not empty why didn't you get more of an explanation from them or why the journalist didn't investigate this more.
So now she's taken to the coroner and they do the autopsy. So did they give you a copy and did they find drugs in her system? It would be hard to prove if he drugged her depending on what drug it was. If he was drinking with 2 girls in the bar I would find it hard to do in the club, as much as everyone hates on the waiters they do a good job of watching out for those things and you also have security and cameras.
So after all of this if they let a killer go the biggest thing if I was family or a lover is be out trying to draw as much attention to it as possible even if I had to stand in front of the hotel everyday The working girls in Tijuana have pretty strong groups that fight for them so it's a surprise that they wouldn't have been willing to force this cover up more. The AG confirming later that it was a murder could be just so he can try to make it a serial killer just to get more press especially since it's a US citizen. The pics of the murder in the Zeta article don't say where they got them. I know the girl in HK that was drinking with them said she believed it to be the same guy but after that much time and her not seeing an actual line up and point the guy out if I was on a jury I probably wouldn't believe her story.
So you and the mom trace the phone to Riverside but the phone and him aren't found. You claim the US wasn't involved so I'm confused who went to Riverside? Also why didn't you follow the trace or maybe you can't cross? Yeah trying to contact the FBI is useless since it wasn't a US citizen that was killed. At least from what I read them and Interpol are looking into it now. So after nothing happens for a few weeks another girl is killed and now that family makes more of a stand and things get done. So I understand how you feel guilty for not being more of an advocate when Angela was murder and I'm not trying to make it worse but I'm sure you also feel much guilt for Angela's death. You mentioned you had gone to the media when it first happened but no news. So what media did you go to and what did they say? Why didn't they care? I guess it's easy to look back and say I should have done this or that.
As far as HK you are right it's HK. The only thing I would say in regards to HK as a business and HK as the workers who consist of management, waiters and the girls. I know a few and some in management, now those that I know I originally knew in smaller bars and it was very much a family with different parties being celebrated together since most live in Tijuana alone, and if anyone tried do do anything to a girl they would gladly make that person pay. Now once I had a friend get rapped in CC when I found out I went over to talk to the waiter I knew and yelled at him on how could he allow it to happen, he said he didn't like it either but the hotel isn't the bar so he doesn't control what goes on. I think it's easy to throw HK the bar in with HK Cascadas hotel were the bar and waiters don't control. Now like I said before it's odd that nobody from HK or Cascadas has come out privately to talk about what really happened, many of the workers do look out for the girls the best they can. I think any girl that comes to work in the Zona shouldn't be so nieve to think that they have no risks in whatever establishment they work at, I think HK does what they can and sometimes the security measures they have are up to the employees to in force and I'm sure many things get complacent over time and soon you have people getting away with things. Same can be said with TSA that most workers aren't 100% vigilant at all times. It would be very sad if someone from HK decided to try and cover this up just because it might effect the business for a few days. I think the killing in AB was much worse and they didn't seem to be having problems for very long.
Well I do wish you the best and this guy gets caught and somehow he is proved to be the one. Hopefully they have his DNA from the murder of Angela.
Again please post any new info on here since I try to stay current with most news in Tijuana but I might miss something.
