My wingman was sitting at the bar, having a liquid breakfast of a Screwdriver and a Tecate.

There was 1 smiling stripper on stage and half a dozen other girls sitting in the booths.

The bar would close off sections for cleaning, but it's never closed.

We used both English and Spanish. I repeated sesenta, 4 times in English and Spanish, because I have been down that road before.

Today I was talking to a worker and painter and we were discussing the money for his work and I wrote the tasks to be completed on the chalkboard along with 8500 pesos. Can't be any clearer than that!

A good selection both days, enjoyed much of the time spent watching the World Cup then Saturday evening found a willing 22 yo with spinner body and sat and drank with her for a few hours in a both, I know I spent way too much dinero with all her drink, but was fun AND after we both were "feeling no pain" spent the $80. In the VIP upper room (I been here before but now on the other stairway up), cloths came off and we partied like "a rock star", full full full full GFE and if I had a few more drinks I could have opted out of the condom use, but glad to report I wore the hat. Ohhh need to say that I tipped my gal $100. Which was worth twice or triple that amount. Sometimes you just "click" and many times you don't.

A complete shit load of fun that lasted 3 plus hours in total and I was spent for the night. Got up at 4:45 AM this morning, was in the border walk line at 6:20 AM and took exactly one hour to pass.

I ate at that restaurant next door to HK / Cassada Hotel (in the alley), something like "Prada or Prage" (it's directly across from the door leading to the upstairs to the Caliente Cassino, I had a delicious very tasteful Salmon dinner, anyway all the waiter from Hong Kong and the Casada hotel get the food here so I sat for 15 minutes with a HK waiter who tells me that he has been working HK for 7 years and typically earns about $500-$600. USD per week, also tells me that he has had days where he has earned $800. , $1,600. And even over $2000. A DAY? Is this BS? Is this some Mexicano maschismo trying to impress a gringo stranger?

Long time lurker, got a lot of helpful tips here. Wanted to contribute by writing a short trip report.

Got to HK about 4 PM on a Wednesday, there were about 30 girls of varying hotness, and about maybe 50 patrons (mostly Mexicans but some gringos too). Patdown at the door, no cover. Waiters were doing a great job and very attentive. Had a beer, took a couple of walks around, and was itching to see the talent at AB (its like the itch to see what else is on tv after you find something that you like on). AB was comparatively much more dead. Maybe 10 girls, 15 customers. Was offered arrriba for 40 from a 6.5/7, not bad at all. Went back to HK and one of the messeros asked me what kind of chica I liked and brought over a real hottie, shortish dirty blond hair, face looks like Penelope Cruz, skinny, ideal fake tits. Forgot her name. Asked for 80, instantly accepted 60.

My general impression of going solo on a weekday was that it is ridiculously safe (I know that this is always mentioned but wanted to reiterate this point). There is a lot of hustle and bustle going on in the alleys and streets immediately surrounding HK with a ton streetwalkers and everything else but the police presence is crazy and there wasn't anything that made me feel uncomfortable. My main issue with zona compared to Pattaya and to some extent also MDE is that the local language seems necessary to have a great time for me. The girls in HK and AB have terrible to nonexistant English for the most part so it is very hard to continue with conversation after the first drink. In MDE the case was the same, but the GFE made up for it, even in the casas. What usually ends up happening in HK or AB for me is that I find a girl with a nice personality, definitely puts in the time and effort during the fichas, but the arriba ends up being lackluster. Since I am close by and really like Tijuana, I don't know whether it is best for me to try to pick up spanish or better yet do some research and find a new spot or change my approach at HK and AB because the environment at these two gogos is ideal (drinks reasonable, safer, etc.).

What is the etiquette, between you and your lady, when you have rented a room at Cascadas for the night?

When I am renting by the "arriba," when the time person comes a knocking I usually pay for additional time, and end up paying the girl for additional time. How does this shake out when you have already arranged for the room? Do you talk about this upfront with her in the bar? Is there an understanding that she is implicitly on the hook for additional time? Does it depend on how well you are connecting?
