First post, so here goes.

Having tried just about everything in Dubai, Poland, Romania, Estonia, Hungary etc I believe Kiev is the best. Wall to wall fit babes. RP best best if you are a bit lazy like me. I have always found loads of choice and it's almost too easy. Plus after a few minutes chat and a drink, you can usually get a feel for whether they will give you a good time or just go through the motions. Incidentally, I am baffled why so many members bang on about a few $ either way. Who cares! In my experience treat them well and they do too. After all pissing her off about the price does not get things off to a good start? Plus:

I have had loads of great freebies afterwards treating them right first time!

Was in Kiev for 3rd time from 12 January for a couple of nights. On the Sunday, met a real petite stunner 11/10 in my book. 5 foot nothing and about 47kg with the most amazing fake tits I have seen in my life. Very pretty! Great tan, legs and perfect peachy ass too. Had a great couple of hours back at Premier Palace which she seemed to enjoy too and was very wet after some memorable DATY. $300 well spent I would say! I liked her which helps.

Went for round 2 at RP on the Monday and she asked if her friend could join us, who was just as stunning. Now the bad news. After 20 minutes, I realised some barstard had spiked my drink and felt very rough and so had little choice but to leave in a hurry, as quite woozy. (This also happened to me a couple of years ago in Budapest, so I knew straight away. Not nice!)

I usually always get the girls phone number if possible which has resulted in many freebies. However, in my rush to 'get some air' after the spiked drink, I clean forgot and next morning it was too late, as my flight home was early.

I would really like to meet 'Angela' again soon and wonder if any members recognise her? Trust me she is very memorable! She told me she is 24. She has long (ish) mid blonde (ish) fine straight hair. Her friend had black hair. Both always sit next to the RP dance floor at the main bar end. English ok. I got the feeling Angela was not a regular at RP but just needed some money?

ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN FIND OR CONTACT ANGELA? (Have any other members met or know her?)

After 60 seconds in bed, CBJ for 1 minute, "get on' cow girl, hope you offload in c3 minutes and then hope you are tired and try to leave ASAP ready to go for another punter. (20 minutes overall.) I have a friend who has been trying to get a Visa to England.

She passed UK english exam, but is still without a visa. She hired someone and her sponsor paid $2500 for a six month visa and now they are telling her that for $1600 they may get her a one week visa.

I am interested to see what happens.

I have been told that young girls have a very hard time getting to the US or England without good proof they have motovation to return to Ukraine, such as property in their name, a good paying job, etc.

England and America see "sponsorship" as prostitution. This 18 year old girl has a visa with stamps from Cypress, Egypt, Turkey and Czech. I think that the Immigration official has a pretty good idea that she does not have the means to be paying for these trips on her own.

Actually I don't think that these girls will do much better in England than they do in Ukraine without education. BJWOC can only take you so far for so long. Sure they may make more, but then it is not cheap in England either.

Which makes me wonder what startup costs would be in a town like Kiev. A number of Kiev forum readers have pointed out that K lacks a really good lap dancing club, in the style of 911 or Safari in Moscow, with $10 for a nasty dance and full take home.

Costs will now of course be a multiple of what Erik had to pay back when he started.

The funny thing about people who live on the margin is that sucessful ones are very good at conning people. They will lift your wallet out of your pocket open it, take the money out all before your eyes, all the while convincing you that is not what is taking place.

People in the Club/Bar business generally aren't the most honest people in the world. I'm sure he was a fantastic host, that was his job.

Hey, thanks in part to your expert guidance, I managed to hit RP, Fridays, Caribbean Club, Shooters, go to two business meetings in the afternoon, buy a $17 bottle of shaving cream, look at couple of tramps in a salon, drink about a liter of whiskey, get the number from a stripper during a lapdance at a casino strip club and screw an 18-year old girl I met in Odessa last summer all in 24 hours.

Not bad. Will they write about me in the Kyiv Post as living the expat dream?

To top it off, between Kiev and Moscow someone opened my luggage (despite a lock) and stole the 8GB memory card out of my video camera. Thankfully I had already downloaded the video of me fucking the Odessan teen onto my laptop and erased it from the card. Was a classic video too, even though her name is Alyona I was telling her "you like that cock, Yulia? You love that cock you fucking s1ut! Make me come you fucking b1tch! Make me come Yulia!"

She didn't seem to mind me calling her Yulia at all, or maybe she was just distracted by all the ass-slapping and hair-pulling I was doing. We even cuddled afterwards while I made her listen to Duran Duran's greatest hits. Poor girl.

In 2005 fall I participated to a study about securitization options and risk assessment for subprime mortgages. Plenty of smart economists in the upper floors of large financial institution always knowing that subprime crisys was out of the door (it's quite a strraight consequence of large project number decrease in US and lack of returns from Middle East wars). Few sharks made a lot of money with the right put options in Wall street.

Ukrainian banks are not yet the best deal for institutional investors, but some of them will be soon. Retail sector is quite healthy in both insurance and banking sectors. Corporate is still high risk.


P.S. I always listen to cabbies everywhere in the world. They give me the "real world" touch I miss when I'm just with my MBA coleagues. Best and fastest way to understand mood, opinion, troubles and needs of normal people and the way mass markets run

I know in Boryspol someone grabbed one of my mobile phones, but its my own dumb fault for packing it in my suitcase and not carrying it on the plane. I had 4 phones, so I figured I didn't really need to carry all 4, and it would be safe to check it.

I agree 100%, but already had my heavy SLR and 3 lenses, a laptop, another video camera, 3 phones, hat and gloves and assorted papers in my hand luggage. Fucking weighed a ton. I just figured what the fuck. The video camera in my checked in luggage was a small Panasonic, the kind that records directly to SD card.

I was also bewildered by the fact that only the card was stolen. When I opened my bag, the camera was OUT of it's small leather case and lying with the memory card compartment open on top of my clothes.

I have no explanation why they just took the card.

I told a friend and he said it may have been customs and how they sometimes check camera memory cards but then put them back and that maybe this one was forgotten. Then again, there was no notice that the luggage had been searched. I've had luggage searched before and is marked as searched.

I really don't know, but gone is gone.

D, this is all terribly 1996. Even USA Today won't write this sort of nonsense about Ukraine. I hardly think anyone starting a business in Kiev nowadays is going to trigger a fanfare of Uzis.

The police/mafia want their revenue with as little hassle as possible. It's a business, not an excuse to spray blood. Killing the guy running the place instead of just 'taxing' him is actually not very smart from their point of view.
