Phnom Penh

On my first visit to PP, some Khmer friends took me to a great beer garden over the bridge, with good food, a big singing stage, and lovely willing Angkor beer girls selling more than the amber fluid. On subsequent visits I haven't been able to find the same place again (I was reasonably drunk on that first visit and don't remember what the entrance looked like!). I know there are several beer gardens in a row on the left hand side of the road as you head South. Can anyone recommend a good one (in terms of quality and willingness of the girls)?

The girls often come and go every few months. I think my initial strategy would be to agree a good travel deal with a tuk tuk (or moto) driver for say three hours exclusive use ($10?) , and have him take you around the best places in streets 104, 136, 51 and maybe 110. You could dash in, briefly check out the talent, and then if nothing to your liking, move on. At a rough guess this would let you rapidly check out up to 400 girls!

Some streets exist on only one side of Monivong is what I noticed one time looking at google maps.

Sizzlers. Sure enough found something strange about this one. Some of the lookers / bubbly girls there are "virgins"! And they seemed to be around 22. They have about 5 of them. I didn't enquire too much but it obviously means they won't go out with customers. So this is something to keep in mind while splurging on the girls.

This happened in one another bar too where there was a girl who "just didn't go out with customers". Obviously she was the best looking and best spoken one. I've been in that bar several times and have taken out a girl from there so if she was lying I would have known.

arrived yesterday noon in pp. after checking in went to the wa for the usual quick release with aome non descript average girl. no price discussion, minimum dialogue, just a quick nod and a gesture "let's go", she was trotting along to the small st places around the corner. 15$ paid and no fuss, decent action. went back to the hotel for a late nap as the jetlag was taking its toll.

in the evening after an hour doing some work at the banana bar (where i met johnny howard and lpb from ggc) i had a couple drinks at dream bar, that bar round the corner on street 118 with an outside sitting area, nothing good there in about 15 girls present; checked out sharkeys which was absolutely dismal, maybe 20 guys and 5 girls, then drove off and hit the wa again but nothing worth of a second look.

after a couple drinks with an old timer, shane, i went out for noodle (5000 riel and a perfect night meal) , chatted up a few girls then hit pontoon, the largest free lance disco (near hod on st 51) , which since last april seems to be busier than ever, with dozens of choice poon. a couple of girls smiled and others came over to parade, but after 15-20' my eyes caught sight of a slim girl standing by herself near the sittees at the back.

now i often have a hard time picking a girl i genuinely like as i have learned, or grown, to be extremely chosy. some would say difficult, and they would probably be right. i am not remotely attracted by girls who overdo it : overdress, underdress, those who confuse near nakedness with sex appeal, those who smoke or drink, those who sport tattoos, those who speak, or even worse, scream and bark in a raucous voice amidst their peers. those i gladly leave to punters attracted by a hard core element. my kind of girl is more traditional, better behaved, demure, not necessarily provocative. actually i've taken numerous times girls dressed like farm-fresh peasants over sexy almost topless supermodels, as long as i could see in their eyes, faces, smiles and attitudes the promise of a good time. not merely in the sack but an overall gfe feeling.

sorry to digress. but the outcome of the meeting that followed was so totally and utterly unexpected that it did require some background.

back to the pontoon and to the slim girl i had just spotted. she was wearing a dark skirt and a greenish teeshirt that didn't hide the firmness of her body despite their total blandness. short hair, cute face, at least 25 and apparently by herself. no drink in hand, no smokes, no fancy mobile, no fake jewelry, just a barrette to hold her hair together. now she was still standing but no longer alone, a tall beefy guy had just arrived and was standing near her in the last few minutes, and was probably about to make his move as he was ogling her as a hungry hunter might ogle a particularly tender piece of prime wild game. it took me about 10 seconds to walk past them and stand on her other side and to take her hand and throw her my friendliest and earnest smile. hey, i'm logos, the guy that cares about girls just like you. the tall brute next to her quit and walked away in disgust. i was in. or so i thought.

after realizing that her english was probably even worse than my khmer (another good point on my score card) , i somehow managed to drag her out of there, telling her with a nod and a smile that the hotel wasn't far. but i could feel some reluctance; she explained in gestures that she did have some friends inside and would like to tell them she was coming out. or something to that effect.

there is no point in trying to force anything on a girl in that kind of situation so i agreed to go back inside (pat and cursory search despite us having been out for 30 seconds) and her friends were in the entrance hall, either following her or waiting for her. there were 4 of them. 2 or 3 real lookers and a fat one, who apparently was their self-appointed leader and spokeswoman. why is it that fat, short girls always take the lead when you want to discuss anything with their friends but not with them? anyway, she explained that her friend, davy, couldn't speak much english, and that should she come with me, should be treated with care as she'd had not much experience. actually, not only had she had not much experience, it would be fairer to say that she's had zero experience. and to drive the point home, she added, no boy friend, never boy friend before! she didn't say "cherry girl" as a filipina would have but it was close enough.

i looked at my girl again.how could that be, she did look nice and fairly innocent but she wasn't a day under 25 at least, but she nodded, and flashed a little smile that revealed a cute crooked tooth, exactly the way i like a smile, good but not perfect, clean but not cosmetic clean, just natural. i then ensured her friends that i was a nice guy, it didn't matter, i could take good care of her. are you married? good heavens no! , are you tourist or living here? how long you stay cambodia? i am tourist for " months, living in singapore and coming often, look i have laan, showing them the car keys. i could then hear talk among themselves, a couple of the friends were pushing cherry girl towards me while the fat one had still some reservations "where you staying?" well, in a nice hotel not too far and we go there by car."have many rooms in yoru hotel?" yes, many rooms."can take me and my friends in a room for 5, so we stay same hotel"? no, sorry, not possible i'm afraid. at which stage the 4 other girls had had enough as well and pushed cherry girl to me "you go, you go" and hushed fatty away.

so we finally exited for good and went to my car.

and for the rest you'll have to wait part 2 as it's getting late (shit, almost 7 am local time) and i have to look good tomorrow, you leechy pervs

No matter which thread you are in, every now and then you look up and there's D Cups with his same message "Looking for big-boobs. Have you seen any big boobs?" ;)

I forgot to add, guys, that when I travel I bring along some 32, 34, 36 and 38 C, D and DD bras and bikinis as gifts for the girls I find! It is a little bit like Cinderella and the glass slipper. They are usually quite appreciative as they cannot find lingerie that fits them in their country. It is great, great fun to watch them try it on and take some photos of the robing and disrobing of their golden globes. A terrific prelude to terrific sex!

You've just described my ideal pickup, in Cambodia or anywhere else in the world for that matter, as well as the very reason I continue to monger to this day. Its the thrill of the chase of that first 'high'. I salute you.

Back in PP after an absence of around 5 years. Cruised 104 & 136 street bars and was totally disappointed, very poor offerings. Not sure if it as a bad night, but all the gals very average looking and nothing caught my eye. Wasn't the case 5 years ago, and a lot of my regular haunts have since closed.

That had pretty much the same address (27 Street 252) which places it between street 63 and Monivong. I arrive in a week and I'll probably venture down there after I check into my hotel in order to get some post travel relief.

[url]http://www.sakurahotel.com[/url]) which apparently (last confirmed in March here and September elsewhere) has a fishbowl massage. I hope to confirm if it still does during my up coming trip to PP.

When I came here I stayed in Asia Hotel for a few days, reception guy proposed to deliver a massage lady, I agreed because I genuinely wanted a massage and it was also a massage with no massage at all. Looks like one would have to deliberately seek out a place where one could get a real massage. I see a bunch of massage places on Samdech Sothearos blvd, where it intersects with Sihanouk blvd, close to where Shabu Shabu is but haven't felt like trying one of them out so far. I am guessing at least one of them would be decent enough. I did try one a little further from there and did get a real massage but her skills were what she'd probably learnt on the job. But even her trainer had apparently learnt like this. There were some tourist licenses on display but nothing about massage and the room was filthy. It has a big sign "$2 massage" upfront which turns out is for a half hour of foot massage. Place not recommended. Massage and haircut is the speciality of Vietnamese, where again girls learn their trade on the job but there's at least one person, with an interest in business who has been professionally trained and their skills are utterly remarkable.

They had some Chinese women available too, sitting outside the fishbowl. They seemed to be in late 20s, 30s. They might know how to massage. For massage plus boom boom anyone who is not Cambodian is recommended.
