Late Night Sukhumvit Road
Hi all,
My first trip coming up January. And I have a question. Is there bars which have different nationalities like I would like to find some Vietnamese girls. Or maybe a escort service that could provide? And do you guys transfer some cash to Baht before you fly? I fly in late and counters will be closed I bet. And how about late transportation choices?
Thanks,
Geano.
You didn't mention how late you would be arriving, but a while back I had a similar concern arriving at 11:20 PM, wondering what would be available to me after I got to my hotel after midnight. Well, it turns out it was for naught. Though I eventually made it to Thailand, on an earlier flight, I quickly learned how much is open around Sukhumvit in the wee hours. After a vigorous hour with a freelancer on my first evening there, I strayed out onto the street at a little past two. I was surprised how many freelancers were out in front of the Ruamchitt Plaza. I walked up the road and saw many things open though a lot of things closed. Plenty of freelancers out there. Turned onto Soi 4 and the beer bars were shutting down, but plenty of free lancers on that Soi. Strolled up Soi 3 to the Grace Hotel and plenty of plump freelancers standing around. Went back down Sukhumvit the other side, and was saw some places still open. You shouldn't have any problem finding food, drink, a massage or a girl just after 2 AM. I am pretty sure I saw some money exchanges open, too.
Any body had experience with Pim

Former Bangkok Beat. New name: New Wave
Bangkok Beat is scheduled to re-open mid December as New Wave II, so feel free to exhale LOL.
SL.
I spoke yesterday to a former staff member of Bangkok Beat.
She told me that the previous owner has sold everything and that the new bar will be open as of Friday this week, December 23th 2017.
Pool tables and larger TV screens that will it be. No band, no live music no DJ.
Not sure if their is a link between the previous New Wave from Soi 5 (as they first moved from the building that was demolist around 2 years ago into the smaller bar opposite of the old location). The old premisses was oke with many pool tables but I never found my (pool) way into the smaller location.
Will see and test.
