There is action to be had in Osan for the right amount of money. Most phillipinos can be had with enough time and money. If you want a korean go to smittys. It's a dive bar off the main drag. Out of the front gate cross the main street and its one of the side alleys to the right. Its down stairs and doesn't really start till eight or after. Was only one really good looking korean, skinny and hot. Was alright in the sack, kept huffing glue was a little unnerving. Negoiate and I think you can come out alright. Have also been propositioned be ajuma on the side streets of of Osan, several times near the vfw, but never followed through.

I think we all agree and probably the whole single expat community used the summer vacation time for some Thailand, Phlippines, China or Cambodia mongering to do some charge and discharge cycles of the batteries.

No wonder that the companies paying a surprisingly high salary surcharge to the expats here as premium for this lack of mongering scene, probably as a contribution to e.g. cambodia flights.

However our problems stays, even if money might not be the problem. It's the lack of spare time to catch those flights to go there and come back for us expats which still forces us to the local Korean providers, as the downside of the salary surcharges are more extended working hours and you can't timely afford an extended weekend trip every some weeks.

So no way then to extract and report the few good opportunities in this country, even if costly and e.g. cambodia has the better options.

As I left, I saw 3 nice ladies enter the place together, all had on flashy dresses and high heels, and none of the three were caring the usual basket of soap and sundries like you carry to a public bath.

Were the guys waiting on “call girls”, and was the action upstairs? I guess this is another mystery that is for “Koreans Only”

Most likely they were Coffee Shop Girls - basically call girls that work out of local coffee shops. If you have the number to a shop you can call and ask for a girl to deliver "a cup." They will deliver anywhere but are seen most frequently at Yogwans (cheap Korean hotels) and on occation at barbershops or even private apartments. The coffee goes from 5-10K Won. The extras are usually around 50K, although that can go as high as 100K.

In smaller towns you can see them tooling around on mini-motor scooters - high heels and all - on their way to a delivery.

The Korean word for coffee shop is "tabang." In this case you might have asked "Tabang agashi issoyo?" - Is there (or can you get) a coffee shop girl (for me)?
