John never being there slowly eroded the business and people found other places that changed the sheets and had working a/c.

The $15 charge is for an extra chica visit. As far as where to stay, I would recommend Europa in Sosua. I stayed in Puerto Plata one night and toured the city with a local guide. Although there are opportunities for action in Puerto Plata, I feel like sosua gives you more options for anytime action. If you stay at the Europa, all you have to do is sit on the curb near the hotel anytime and chicas will walk past and offer their services. It's like shooting fish in a barrel!!! Just like the other commentator said, Europa is in a great central location on the main strip and just blocks away from all the great bars and nightclubs. Great! Why don't you just call or email Diego, the owner, of Europa. They get these questions all the time and know what goes on.

You should definately stay in Sosua for the easy access to it all.

What are your exact dates?

Anywhere in Sousa is handy.... but the Europa is definitely very strategic. Mornings you can catch the girls leaving the overnights... afternoon I would say the beach and/or Passions for a relaxing massage with an oral finish for $30... and the women are take out as well... they finish early and you can work them to a club and then your bed....

These things could have been easily fixed. He could have hired someone to do it?

Also having the same chicas around every day was getting boring with some.

If that doesn't work, I'll try to contact Diego directly. In the past, I've had lots of trouble with reservations in Latin America, so I like to get everything in writing in advance.

I'll be there Oct. 13-16. I tend to monger alone, but I always enjoy some good conversation between the main events.

I do love sex in the morning. The idea of catching the TLN chicas as they leave others' rooms is something I have never thought about. Does anyone else have ideas for sex from 9 to noon? If I make a date for the next morning with a chica at a bar, will she show up?

If you are in Sousa they are around during the day in the stores and offices etc.... but you can just grab most of the fresher looking ones and choose one to spend time with much easier... but if you need a project off you go......

Riverm: Just get to Europa. Hopefully you'll arrive during the day so that you can take a long walk and get your bearings. Just go out the front door of the hotel and turn right. Sosua awaits. The town isn't that large. You'll find semi-pros all over town at any time of day. Don't worry about your Spanish. If you don't find what you're looking for, take a pass. More will be around shortly and at night, its sometimes difficult to make a choice because of the multitude of women.

If I was a first timer there and know what I know now, I would stay away from Four Roses, the bar next to it, the Hatian place across the street, the Cowgirl Bar, Central Hotel and C'est la Vie. There are plenty of other places to find some prime women. Remember, you get what you pay for. Beach cruising during the day is a must. My personal preferences are Siempre Sol and the Shark Bar but there are plenty of other places on the beach with women.

All over town, watch for pick pockets. Bring only as much money as you need, don't flash it and keep it in a buttoned or zippered pocket. If any woman even touches you after approaching, odds are she's a thief. If they grab your arm, forcefully break their hold. If they approach you, set your space and keep them away. The "nice girls" in Sosua wouldn't do that.

No drinks, cigarettes or money to those that ask for it. Europa has a safe in every room. Use it. If you take a girl out to dinner, don't take her to a nice place as she'll just order the most expensive thing on the menu. A mid-priced place will be fine as she'll be eating better than she has for a week. If you're not interested in having a girl hang around, tell her to leave. If she insists on money to leave, then you leave. If she won't leave Europa, merely call security. Treat the employees at Europa well and they'll bend over backwards for you on your next trip.

For a newbie, I'd recommend staying out of Los Charamicos at night. El Batey is much safer with more gringos on the street. Don't bring or buy any "recreational drugs" as your first drug offense is 5 years in a Dominican prison. Don't get so drunk at night so that you're an easy target.

Don't drink the water or even brush your teeth with it. Always use bottled water. Bring Imodium. I never travel without it. If you feel safer with traveler's checks, they can be cashed at Europa or any cambio in town.

You gotta go to the car wash on a Friday or Saturday night. Car washes are uniquely Dominican. There will be a couple hundred semi pros at the car wash on a good night, particularly if a well known band is playing there.

I actually miss the Cowgirl Bar. Yes its been closed for about (1) one year.
It was fun to Bachata dance with the chicas and chat it up with them. It was a comfortable place. Of course, there was never any real "stunners" working there.

I remember one of my regulars telling me that she had to sit around the bar from 6pm to at least 2am in the morning (If they went upstairs to their rooms before 2am they got a talking to) and she would be paid 100 pesos a night, plus any tips they made serving customers beers and whatnot.

3000 pesos ($90) mensual (monthly) paid at the end of the month, they had to work every single day. Good God, what a life! :( Listening to the same Elvis Martinez and Joey Veras songs over and over and over again on the bar's sound system.

I have a question, what's up with the bar that opened right across the street from the Cowgirl Bar? I was down there two months ago and walked in. It looked like the same setup as the Cowgirl Bar, same type of girls sitting around mouthing the words to the Frankie Reyes song blaring out of the speakers - but I was shocked when I started talking to one cute little morena and she said that "I just waitress here, I don't leave with the customers"

I was stunned!

Anybody have any war stories from that place? ;)
