Tried out Romantic City in Kaohsiung yesterday. Pretty easy to find (Google Maps: [url]http://g.co/maps/a87xe[/url]). From the Kaohsiung Main Station (not the HSR station) , go north on Zhongbogaojia Bridge and turn west on Jiuru 2nd Road and continue past the next main road called Zili 1st Road. Romantic City is on 592 Jiuru 2nd Road on the north side of the street between Andong St and Kanping St. It's a multi-story building with a white facade on the first floor with bright lights about their 24 hour operating hours. On the right is an entrance that says "Massage" DO NOT GO THERE. That is a legit massage parlor (as I found out to my chagrin) with stairs that go to the second floor. Instead, continue to the left side past the gambling parlor to a badly lit elevator lobby. There is a sign in Chinese that says Romantic City on the sixth floor. Go there.
Upon entering Romantic City, the staff was very responsive and ushered me in. No interrogation or other BS. I just said a friend referred me and they quickly confirmed the price of 1600 NT. 40 minutes, one pop. I agreed and they directed me around a corner to the bottom of some stairs. There is a "fishbowl" here but it is pretty obstructed so you can't see the girls beyond general shapes. This is where they rest, eat, and watch TV apparently. The hosts call out one girl at a time and I declined the first FIVE as they were all pretty broken down and I would guess near 40. My guide kept assuring me they were young and very good but I just kept declining one after another. Finally they brought out a girl (#58) who looked about 28 but had a decent figure and a pleasant demeanor.
58 then lead me up the stairs to a small room where she made me a cup of tea while I undressed. She then brought me into the shower stall where she did the standard body on body wash. I've had better but it was OK. Then we dried off and headed to the bed where she proceeded to give me a decent cat bath and beso negro. Not rushed but skill was only OK. She then proceeded to a BBBJ which was nice and then to a covered cowgirl for a bit. Then she let me do pretty much whatever I wanted for about 10 minutes. She was ticklish in places but never complained about anything. Then we finished missionary with the requisite fake moaning (hate that).
We took another shower and the dressed to leave. 58 was very pleasant throughout, never rushed me, and was much better looking than the first five I declined. But for 1600 NT for FS, you really can't expect much. Made a pass at the FongYuan shacks yesterday about 8:30. There were about 7 spots open, maybe 10-12 girls. I'd say the youngest was late twenties and oldest was maybe late thirties. Out of the 10-12 girls three were decent.
Checked the Beauty Alley in Taoyuan last Sunday. No good luck, all WG around 50 why. O, prices rised up to 1500 NT. It's more reasonable go to Chungli and play around old Sogo.

1500 NT for 15 min. Not good deal, IMHO. Much better to buy a ticket and spend a weekend in Manila / Angeles or in Bangkok / Pattaya.

My suggestion: forget about Chungli / Taoyuan / other places. Find freebie (not hard thought) and save the money for jump to Manila or Bangkok for a weekend.

I lived in Taiwan for a few years, mainly in the Hsinchu area. I have not seen this bit of good advice posted in a long time.
In just about any decent-sized city in Taiwan you can find short-time hotels. If you can speak a little Chinese it will help. Just walk in and rent a room. They will probably knock on your door in short order and ask if you want a girl.
From a years-old post:
"If you like FS, find a hotel to stay for a short time (NT$350) and the floor attender will call you as soon as you enter your room to check if you like to have a company. The price was about NT$4000 but you can bargain it down to NT$3000. Girl will come to your door and if you don't like her, just tell the attender that you want to another.
I want to add to this. Any building that has a short-time hotel AND a KTV is the best place to look. Virually guaranteed. No need to be shy about what you want. They are in this business to make money.
