bavaro/punta cana information !!!
Thanks Dave! I was beginning to think people thought I had leprosy.
Ok so curb cuts are basically non-existent?
Ok in that case, what could I do to prove myself worthy of a contact that would be available for hire. My and my buddy, don't want to be stuck at the compound, but let's face it, if everything in Punta Cana involves steps outside the resort. We're screwed and not the way we want. We're both in chairs, both want to get our swerve on with the ladies but might need "assistants" for non-medical transport, navigating steps etc.
Is this too tall of an order?
PS, does travelers diarrhea happen equally frequent in say Mexico as well as DR?
Thanks again.
Another regular bavaro/punta cana monger will be sending me information on his "Dominican wingman" who helped him during his travel in bavaro. He stated the cost was about $25 per day BUT the wingman saved him big-time $$$ on the chicas. Another option is after checking into the resort, ask the Public Relations/Lobby staff if assistance could be provided. All Dominicans have at least 1, 000+ unemployed "cousins" who are always looking for a way to make a few bucks. The average Bavaro/Punta Cana Dominican makes less than $2 per hour so I would think that $25/30 bucks is excellent pay for physical assistance with your wheelchairs and "chica" hunting.
Travelers Diarrhea. Do not drink anything but bottle water. Avoid ice cubes when OUTSIDE the resort. Also it is best to eat when the bufett first opens. I have seen raw meat/fish sit out for 3 hours in 95 degree weather. I would encourage you to pack some anti-diarrhea medication in case you need it. This medication is 4x more expensive in bavaro if you have to buy.
Read all past Bavaro/Ounta Cana reports to help educate you on your trip.
Hope this helps!

"And the survey says..............."
The Dominican Republic is NOT a 3d World Country. It is a developing country. Obviously you have not travelled to the major cities or towns where new construction and factories spur the growth here. This country has a lot of poor people, but it is not a poor country. It just depends on who controls the wealth. That is another subject.
How many seasoned sex mongers who travel on a regular basis think the DR is a fucked-up 3rd world country? 85% of the general population is poor, very poor, or extremely poor. The rich get richer and the poor will usually stay poor due to shitty education system.
Let the survey begin.

Iberostar Bavaro Reviews?
I have a trip planned with my girl so no hobbying this time. I would appreciate it if anyone had any experience with Iberostar Bavaro. I know, I checked the travel websites but this is my favorite most trusted forum and I really value other members insights. Its gonna be $2400 for both of us, including the flight from NY and the bullshit $200 per person tax. If anyone has other recommendations for all inclusives in that price range, I'd appreciate it.
By the way, my girl has bi-sexual tendencies and while I definitely will not be trying to find any hookers, some of your posts have made me think that chatting up one of the cute hotel workers might land me a threesome.
