When you're done - call your driver and he'll take you back to your hotel.

Benefits: once you get inside, you can move around at your leisure and start picking chicas. No need to drive around Punta Cana, no need to go from bar to bar like in SXM or AUA, no searching for chicas and/or casas, no negotiating down ridiculous prices, no dealing with pimps or street girls. Since you will be visiting their "casas", they can't steal from you. The entire property - "camp" - is almost flat w/out any stairs. One you are on the property you won't ahve any limitations moving around. There is plenty of rooms that are on the ground level, others are 3 steps above ground. As far as safety and security - there's plenty, and the chicas get tested weekly. The only thing i'm not certain about is whether or not the entry where you pay for "admission" and the bar/strip show area have a wheelchair access. You can ask about these details from the Campo regulars on the Curacao board. I personally think that the security guards will give you a hand.

He stated the cost was about $25 per day BUT the wingman saved him big-time $$$ on the chicas. Another option is after checking into the resort, ask the Public Relations/Lobby staff if assistance could be provided. All Dominicans have at least 1, 000+ unemployed "cousins" who are always looking for a way to make a few bucks. The average Bavaro/Punta Cana Dominican makes less than $2 per hour so I would think that $25/30 bucks is excellent pay for physical assistance with your wheelchairs and "chica" hunting.

Travelers Diarrhea. Do not drink anything but bottle water. Avoid ice cubes when OUTSIDE the resort. Also it is best to eat when the bufett first opens. I have seen raw meat/fish sit out for 3 hours in 95 degree weather. I would encourage you to pack some anti-diarrhea medication in case you need it. This medication is 4x more expensive in bavaro if you have to buy.

Its gonna be $2400 for both of us, including the flight from NY and the bullshit $200 per person tax. If anyone has other recommendations for all inclusives in that price range, I'd appreciate it.

Travel dates in August, December, January, February will cost more.

September, October (and some other months) package deals will cost less.

For a one week stay at an all inclusive hotel, with airfare, I usually pay between $500-$700. Travel in August and the winter months and the package prices are often twice as expensive.

I use 200entertain promo code on Orbitz and the package price is reduced by $200.

Jetblue now flies from New York to Punta Cana (puj airport code).

Iberostar seems to be a good hotel chain in DR. I have not stayed at an Iberostar All Inclusive in DR. Paradisus is a good all inclusive in Punta Cana. You can visit tripadvisor.com for reviews (photos) of hotels.

In bavaro/punta cana I stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace, many years ago, nice hotel, nice beach. RIU has several hotels as well in Bavaro/Punta Cana.

I sometimes fly into Santo Domingo (sdq airport code), rent a car and drive to bayahibe and stay at the catalona gran dominicus all inclusive hotel. 7 night package deal (airfare, room, food, drink from New York), about $550.

I don't when you are planning your trip but most AI resorts have "HIGH" and "LOW" seasons. If you are going during the more popular months (HIGH") you pay almost double for resort. I have found low season to be late August to mid-December. Of course this is tropical storm season so sunny weather could be sporadic.

I could get you & girlfriend a deal at barcelo bavaro palace deluxe junior suites for about $200 per night TOTAL. This is AI but I would only rate it 3 stars. Beautiful beach, average food, average room with outside jet/bath tub, casino, average night music shows. Nothing extra fancy but all the food/drinks, bullshit taxes included for about $100 per night per person. Close to Palma Real shopping center ($10 taxi) and $20 taxi ride from Plaza bavaro (shithole flea market for tourists but tons of hookers and $15 rooms for quickies.) $30 taxi from airport/20 minute ride

The published/internet nightly rate for 2 people is about $300 per night but I think if I scam the manager and tell them you are my "cousins" you can get the Dominican discount rate.

AGAIN, this is just an average AI resort. Nothing fancy!

Alas, we have done a lot of research and my girl would like to go to Iberostar Bavaro. Its $1000 per person with the flight but they add in all sorts of taxes. I've seen some for mid $600s but the extra money will probably be worth it. Thanks again for the offer though.

I have received numerous emails/PM from mongers who stayed at a large number of the AI's and reported 0 problems with the wrist band trick. Just make sure you get the wrist band BACK so you can use it again later in the week! Ha ha ha

The security guards will assume that the chica is a family friend/tourist guide as you will be with your girlfriend. Most likely you all will be in a taxi and the security gueards only take a quick look inside the taxi to make sure that everyone has a wrist band. The security guards don't really give a rats-ass as they are not paid very well.
