Max, just curious but you can you "parle vous francais"? Language is a major part of courting a Frenchwoman in addition to the champagne and expensive chocolate. Unfortunately I do not speak much French but my Spanish is decent, maybe a trip to Costa Del Sol is in order.

my french is very basic, i find more women speak english here than eastern europe, my former home.

The french babes also have a very cute english accent!! have you heard them in bed...mind blowing oui!!

I have heard that Cap D Agde in the south is a great place to meet women. They're all nude over there and very exhibitionist.
Max to add to your advice about French women, I find that exocitism works well with many Parisians. An exotic looking guy who presents himself will be able to sleep with a lot of women.

Hi,
As a Frenchman, it is always amazing to read what you all foreign womanizers write about French women. Although I do not share your excitement about their accent, I quite understand how deliciously exotic (not to say erotic) they may sound or look to you (it is the same for me with Italian or Scandinavian women).
My contribution to this particular forum will be limited as I do have much information about Paris. I am not a Parisian myself, and only go there a few times a year. For those of you who can read French (and I don't think mentioning this will cause my message to be deleted), there is a French forum site dedicated to escorting : www.escortfr.net, where you'll find lots of useful tips.
My best bet when I go to Paris is the swingers'clubs, even in the middle of the afternoon. Try Chris & Manu (41, rue de la rochefoucault, 75009 Paris) or Le Prélude (1, rue richelieu, close to The Louvre Museum), and you're likely not to be disappointed. If nothing happens, well, that's €30 lost, but if something happens, you'll never believe your luck. I have just given two addresses, but about half a dozen such clubs are open to single men in the afternoons (let alone in the evenings, but prices may rocket then).
Enjoy Paris.

Please submit some info on Cap d Agle.
Thank you

Just got back from another trip to Paris. I didn't hobby there (although I spent my time with a non-pro girl that I met my last trip). You Frenchies are truly lucky to live in Paris. I really love Paris. It's just so damn expensive there to live well.
Damn what a world class city!
It was nice meeting you Max Candy.

Hi,
I'll be in this lovely city this summer and have a few questions. Do many people speak spanish there? I'm studying spanish, would like to learn some french before I go but reality will probably prevent that. I'm just curious if spanish is very common here. Also, do any of you know of any great salsa clubs in Paris? There must be some.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding politics and the French.
I just returned from 5 days in Paris, and had a great experience. I was having dinner one evening and the Frenchman dining next to me outright said he likes Americans, and that he understands that everyone is different, and that American Politics does not represent the views of all Americans. I had a great dinner.
Then, riding the subway one day, a North African Frenchman offered me his seat. He was quite gracious about it, and he offered several times, though I politely declined. I am ethnically Chinese (4th generation) born in America. He then started guessing where I am from - Japan? China? Korea? Thailand? I told him "no, I am American", and his attitude completely changed for the worse and called me a "fucking American" (I assume refering to Bush/Iraq/et al). The white Frenchman sitting next to him concurred. I did not respond to him and just left when I reached my station.
I don't really understand where this "French atttitude" comes from, but quite frankly it is totally misdirected. Which is too bad because I otherwise really like Paris. Especially the food, all the museums and architecture, but the attitude is really a waste of time. No wonder France has seen a massive drop in Tourists from the United States.
I still plan to return despite this small incident.
Just my two cents.

Mock a bee
Do not worry , a minority of French do not like American, it is probably the same minority who do not like Arabs either.
As I said in earlier posts, as long as you leave your flag a home and you do not drink Coke with Foie Gras , you are OK.
Have fun in Paris

Mock a bee;
Again the issue of poliltics in France. I find the best way to get along there is to say I'm from Mexico; I speak Tex-Mex Spanish. or Canada, British Columbia.
If you are confronted there as an "Americain," just say "Bush est Foo." It roughly means "Bush is crazy." Or "Bush est mearde." i.e., Bush is shit. That should bring smiles to even the crappiest Merkin hater.
Mojokpr, Spanish is pretty common in France as half of France's land border is by Spain.
Moreover, just act a gentleman whenever you are in France or the EU and you will get by well with little hassle.

Merlin,
Great post! and major LOL!!!

Mock
That North African French gentleman must have his brain screwed up in some former French colonial education. Whatever America does at least 40% doesn't agree according to the polls. It's nuts to hate American as a whole.
France I think has the most anti-immigration policies. Somehow you cannot get citizenship no matter how long you stay (?). Anti-immigration party is doing very well there compared to rest of Europe. These guys just don't have the chance to understand America. In some states even illegal immigrants have free education for their kids, and almost have driving licenses.
As for mutual understanding, everyone takes something for granted while others find very strange. Many ethnic Americans, Chinese, Hispanic, say I'm Chinese (or whatever) (x th generation). Come on man, never come across a white man or black man saying that. Who's counting? Who cares? Do you feel superior to a 3rd generation? Inferior to a 5th generation? Do some soul searching and perhaps we all can understand how the probably Algerian French gentleman screwed up that bad. Not that I mean x th generation is a bad thing, but why?

May I try to steer this forum away from politics, back to chasing skirts in Paris and getting laid.
The last few days have been sunny and warm here, and the skirts are getting shorter, my god, your god, thank god!
I have been hanging out in cafés in the bastle area yesterday, could not get up for the rocket in my pants.
Where is your favoute girl watching spot in paris?
