You can buy the ladies drinks, then you pay an exit fee, and you negotiate with the girls for extra services. The girls are free not to go with you, and they are free to not sleep with even if you pay the bar fine and take them out. This can make for some confusion. Beware.

(The hostess concept – pay a woman for her time, and to be on your arm out, but without sex, is an import from Thailand, and a scenario I never enjoyed. The down and dirty and some places "simple" sex scene of Phnom Pen will be eroding. The Thai style will continue to infiltrate. Maybe I will rant on this later. No matter what, I am blessed to be able to make the best of most situations).

As I learned the ropes at DV8, I settled on a thin Khymer babe, bought her a drink ($3 lady drinks) and introduced her to my British buds. We played a game of pool – boy do I stink at pool – yikes.

After the drink and the pool game, I sat to cut the deal with my first piece in Cambodia and I learned that she was on the rag. I could not believe it. She made me promise to come back for her in four days. I told the Brits, and finally they could not keep a straight face, and we all laughed.

In the back of Rose Bar there is a pool table. Some hostesses (or whatever they are – the term hostess has too many definitions in the confusing vernacular of SE Asia and Phnom Pen), run the table. My friend calls them Barbie dolls. All glammed up. Pretty pretty.

There were three hotties back there. One Khymer girl was dressed in high heels, black mini, black top. Make up, hair up, false eyelashes, the works. She could shoot pool too. I paid him $1. 00 to go away and tried another one and he was OK.

By the time I arrived at Flamingos hotel, everyone was waiting for me (security guy outside, pro hostess pool shark, front desk guys). It was funny.

Nari was great in bed. When she let her hair down, I was so happy to see that. Nary (not her real name) pulled the soon to be familiar shy routine of wanting to get in the shower ASAP. Well, I visited PP in feb for 8 days and I had a blast, sam PP driver shown me the local boomboom hotel where they were so many pretty local girls shown up. The 63 street is still open. Some other small brothels around the walkabout. The price is 5 $ short. But is depend on the day. One day very niche girls, the next day you can forget it.

This is my first time to PP and would like some suggestions on where to stay. I see that the Flamingos Hotel seems to be popular. I want something under $50, clean and secure, close to Martini's (seems like my kind of place) and other venues. Walking distance or short moto ride would be great.
