The location is very odd for an AMP in that city, it is quite close to some prominent offices and probably would not last. The older places in heartlands of Tourist Club are always better.

Just a clarification, what you describe is not a "disaster". A "disaster" is when several girls / guys jump on you and steal your wallet, beat you, threaten you.

There are quite a few references in the Dubai forum. There are quite a few gangs operating in Dubai, they know you can not call the police so they feel quite safe. Never ever trust an African, Pacifican Islander, Equatorian, or Native American from craiglist / tagged / badoo.

Either you check the girl in person at a bar (and take your risks with poor service but at least you know where to go back and find her) or use a reference from a trusted member.

At least you showed more common sense than other people. Good for you.

Been to this AMP now for the 3rd time. It's a villa at Delma street. Funny thing is that the door is always open and you can just walk in.

Guess they are all PRC's there. 2 girls are very good looking and giving a great service. Ana and Shasha. 300 AED full service including CIM. Ana is the better masseuse for sure. Shasha gives you a very smooth massage but more just touching the right areas.

For new people to Abu dhabi or UAE, here are a couple of pointers that I hope can help you. (I had no idea what to expect when coming here and this was my first time coming to a middle eastern country.

1. Everyone speaks English, don't have to worry about communications.

2. If you take a WG home, make sure you have your protection ready, they don't (at least the one I took home did not have any and she said women cannot buy doms) She offered bareback as long as I didn't come inside which made me want to wrap up more. I had to take a cab out to a gas station to buy some and come back (leaving her alone in the room which is again not a good idea).

3. From the few days I spent here, I felt very safe and you can hop in a cab anywhere to get where you are going. After 10 pm I believe (or 12) there is a minimum charge of 10 AED regardless of how far you go. The driver is not trying to rip you, it's actually written down on the fare guide sticker on the window.

4. Don't buy the shots that they carry around, they taste awful and is a complete ripoff.

5. Bring picture I'd with you when you go out to the clubs, they do check. (I had to go back to the hotel to grab mine) doesn't have to be your passport if you are afraid of losing it (at least that's what the bouncer told me).

DGinf[/QUOTE]Thank you DGinf and I'm pleased that you had a good time and that LE Maridien turned out to be green. Considering the horror stories coming from Dubai where hotels have tightened checks considerably to say the least, I believe that AD will see more of me.

This point you report is new, it never was the case before. Do you think they would accept a passport copy or as I fear they want an original document? Many thanks, Pelosky.

In typical UAE fashion many bouncers and security will think an attractive young Asian woman might be a hooker.

I've also been out in a group where they have checked I'd for some and not for others in an apparent racial profiling attempt. In one case a black friend who is British born and raised, ex-armed forces and Masters educated was given grief by an Indian bouncer. Myself and the two other fellows with him nearly had a fight with the bouncer over this dispicable show but cooler heads prevailed.

Haven't seen this for years. I'm clearly over 21 so never get asked for I'd myself, however in the UAE one should always carry photo I'd and / or a clear copy of your passport. It's a police state and simply being prepared can save one a lot of hassle.
