Fellas have any of you stayed at the Panama Marriott and is it chica friendly? I have points to burn so I was looking to book the hotel for 2, but I do not plan on having over night guests only ST. If any you who have stayed there let me know if I'm wasting my time booking this hotel, thanks.
My experience is that Marriott is hit or miss depending on security on duty. I would recommend you stay at a different hotel that is chica friendly.

Veneto (one of the Wyndham hotels) and Torres de Alba (apt-hotel, where I always stay) : never a problem with having guests.
Las Vegas (diagonal corner from Veneto) : no problem here either.
Marriott (across the street from Habanos) , el Panama (up the hill behind Veneto) and Riu Continental: not allowed.
Radisson, Manrey, Waldorf, Meridien: not familiar with their policies.
My firsthand knowledge is limited, since I've kept to the first two, they're both good value for $, right on top of the Veneto casino action, and I don't have to ask (or guess) beforehand. All you veteran posters, please correct or add, as I'd like to know of a few extra options myself (Hard Rock Hotel for example.)

Lots of security and they are not shy about stopping you with your 'Lady of Choice' right at the front door. Did have a buddy sneak one into the hotel through the adjoining casino entrance, though. But I'm sure they have cameras and what-not watching all possible points of access.
Suggest you save your points, take up the recommendations from some of the other punters here and seek accommodations elsewhere. It's just not worth the hassle.

Lots of excellent choices at Veneto & Habamos. Both places were over flowing with mujers. Expect to negotiate all will start at $200. Bit easily come down to $150. Paid $120 for 3 ladies.

Yes it's true, the Colombianas are charged $20 to enter Veneto, $30 on Friday and Saturday. And even $30 on good Friday, when the casino didn't open until 12:01am. The chairs have been removed from the main bar in the casino, which is where I used to spend the day. Not too many girls this weekend, most likely because it's easter. But still the hottest spot in the city IMHO.
Took two trips to Bocaterena one on Saturday around 2pm and Easter Sunday around noon. Saturday was packed, wall to wall people. Extremely hot, humid and uncomfortable year round. Was there in June last year. 96-98 degrees with 99. 9% humidity. Only place hotter around there is David. Very little temperature variation from month to month in Central America, only variation in the precipitation.
