Is the Panama Marriott chica friendly?
Fellas have any of you stayed at the Panama Marriott and is it chica friendly? I have points to burn so I was looking to book the hotel for 2, but I do not plan on having over night guests only ST. If any you who have stayed there let me know if I'm wasting my time booking this hotel, thanks.
Veneto & Bocaterena
Yes it's true, the Colombianas are charged $20 to enter Veneto, $30 on Friday and Saturday. And even $30 on good Friday, when the casino didn't open until 12:01am. The chairs have been removed from the main bar in the casino, which is where I used to spend the day. Not too many girls this weekend, most likely because it's easter. But still the hottest spot in the city IMHO.
Took two trips to Bocaterena one on Saturday around 2pm and Easter Sunday around noon. Saturday was packed, wall to wall people. Definitely a hot spot, through small talk, came to the conclusion that the girls hang out here in the day and then move on to the more profitable places (via espana, calle uraguay) at night. As has been mentioned here before, it's the same girls, just cheaper prices. Sunday was less crowded, was actually fun. $1. 50 for beer, $1. 50 for shots, lady drinks $5. 00, with her getting back $2, from what I could tell.
Going rate seemed to be $20, $5 to the house, rest to the girl, with two condoms included. The guy came banging on the door after what seemed like 10 minutes, didn't wear my watch, because it's not that kind of place. So each time I paid another $20. As mentioned before, the rooms are very basic. A bed, then sink and toilet, turned into a shower. But your not there to spend the night. All varieties of girls, from Nicaraguans to Colombians to Dominicans. And everywhere in between.
I experienced Bocaterna during the day, and it seemed reasonably safe. If you don't speak Spanish, It'd be a good idea to take someone who does (taxi driver).
How hot and humid is Panama City in June / July?
Thinking of a long 4-5 day weekend. I can dress for and deal with Miami summers. Panama-not sure? Please comment?
Maybe Medellin is the way to go.
Thanks,
Bob
