Yes ratings don't mean much. Coconut milk in Tom Yung is certainly not uncommon. Also it is not Tom Yung soup. You don't need to use the word soup, that is a redundancy.
It certainly is a redundancy, but given that not everybody might be familiar with Thai cuisine, specifying it is a soup doesn't make any harm.
I hear a lot of times "penne pasta" in restaurants, more than redundancy, but one has to make a living with that since not everybody, even if dedinetely more world popular, can know that penne is a variety of pasta.
My understanding is that coconut milk is used in quite some soups. Tom ka ga, for instance, a much milder soup vs. The over spicy Tom Young one. This is why it is never much recommended to farang not used to it. It might give some side effects you don't want to have during a mongering night.

Naree massage
Found this delightful shop maybe 400 meters down Soi 4. I had hooked up with a gal on Whatsapp, exchanged a few heated messages, and it turned out she worked there. The shop is clean, the rooms are spacious and even artfully designed, but most importantly all the girls offer decent massages and FS.
After a mild but relaxing oil massage, we got down to it.
Nan was a 32 yo spinner, natural but small tits but a phenomenal ass and pretty good English. 500 to the shop and we negotiated down to 1500 for FS (she offered covered oral only, or covered sex, I chose the latter). Gave me finger access but didn't want me to taste her box, and although she seemed to be in a rush to make sure we concluded everything in under an hour, we went from cowgirl to doggy where I was able to admire that phenomenal backside and pump out a good load. She was good enough with English to say "fuck me" in just the right tone: I knew I was fake passion but she sold it well enough to take me to the edge, and over. She claimed we came together, and again, although I doubt that is true she was sweet enough and sold it well that accepting the lie was worth it. She told me next time to book two hours so we can linger longer w massage and sex, and I plan to.
500 to the shop and we negotiated down to 1500 for FS (she offered covered oral only, or covered sex, I chose the latter).
That's a pretty expensive massage, considering most places in BKK charge 200-300 baht for an hour. I got addicted to massages after my first Thai massage and got some kind of massage every day I was there, afterwards. And that expensive for sex, too. Never paid more than 1000 on anything I pulled off the street.
I got an uncovered half BJ and half handjob at a place off of Soi 22. Can't recall the name because it was basically two different massage businesses that were using the same facility, just with different but adjacent business fronts, with two different sets of girls out front. Went into just get a regular oil massage for 300. That was the standard in BKK. But as the end of my hour approached, the only thing that wasn't massaged yet was my member, and it had started to wake up, thanks to the attention she given to my inner thighs and scrotum. She made the sign of sucking a cock with her mouth and hand, whispering "Five hundred". I couldn't say no. Undid her top and let me fondle her perfect B-cup tits and I do mean they were perfect. As I was about to cum, she switched to a handjob and started tongue kissing me very deep, until I blew my load on my belly. Clever girl! She sure knows who to dodge that nasty wad of cum in her mouth. She cleaned me up good, and we exchanged LINE info, because she wanted to meet me for possible LT in my hotel work before she went back home to Isaan in a few days. Unfortunately, we didn't meet up as I was in Pattaya when she got back to me. I didn't take her photo, but she was kind enough to send me her photo. I do regret not meeting up with her, as she was rather young and extremely pleasant. Unfortunately, I forgot her name like most of the girls I met during the trip. I feel like such a cad now! Enjoy her photo, though.
As an analogy, I saw a Thai restaurant in Germany get 5 star ratings for food that did not resemble the real Thai food in the slighest, was also very bland, and I did not finish my order. IMO the customers giving 5 stars were totally clueless. But that is how ratings work right? Its all personal taste and personal requirements, and corruption. They even had the gall to write that their Thai food was very authentic. Coconut milk in the Tom Yam soup. LOL
That is funny, because when I was in Berlin last year, I visited a longtime Bengali friend. I noted the abundance of Indian, Thai and Mexican restaurants and he commented that none of them were good. They all served bland food, because as he explained, "The Germans don't like spice. " he also pointed out that the cooks in those restaurants tended to be Bengali, but none of them were actual trained chefs. Why? The won't give work visas to the chefs, so they end up hiring non-Chefs from Asia who came to Germany on different types of visas. He said the Germans like what they make, but he never eats at those places, preferring to cook his native cuisine at home, which was what we were dining on.

Smooci notes
I posted this just now in the Bangkok Escort Agencies thread, but since I had posted the earlier comment mentioned here in this thread, I thought it might be ok to put this little follow up post here too...maybe any replies or comments to this post ought to go on the Bangkok Escort Agencies thread, up to you guys.
Yesterday I posted a heads up in the Bangkok Reports thread that smooci.com was now showing the user / customer star ratings for the girls on their website. But I thought this would be the better thread (the Bangkok Escort Agencies thread) to post an interesting update on that. I mentioned yesterday that some of the girls were showing as low as 1 or 2 stars out of 5, so maybe smooci was simply passing along the legitimate ratings if they were willing to post such low ones. But today I notice some of the girls who had gotten only a 1 or 2 star rating yesterday, one named Beer, for example, are no longer showing a star rating at all. The lowest rating as of this writing for any girl on smooci is a 2. 8 star rating for a girl named Zoey. And, just like yesterday, many girls do not show a rating at all.
Therefore, it appears either as an editorial / marketing decision or due to some of the low rated girls freaking out and demanding their ratings be removed, one might reasonably assume at this point that a girl with no star rating at all on smooci has one too low to post and not necessarily that a first rating hasn't come in yet as I might have assumed yesterday.
Just passing that potentially pertinent detail along while I saw this interesting "evolution" of their star rating system happen in real time.

Answer to your question should be explained on our blog. I would also like to ensure you that ratings will never be removed. For those of you that are technical you can actually see on the JSON response while fetching availability that we do not remove ratings but only show ratings if the companion has had 3 or more ratings.

Exotic and Demonia
This was last weekend, I didn't have a chance to sit down and write this as I was traveling around a lot.
Exotic Massage: Located near Kiss in the same little Soi alley. Before selecting this one, I checked out kiss and the few surrounding parlors. Also peeked in some closer to the BTS. This def had the best line up. I went for the 2 hour nuru session, paid upfront after menu selection. The oil was not really nuru which was a disappointment, but the place was not actually set up for that. Just massage table and cubicle shower, not a large tiled floor and air mattress. It was the same price as a normal oil massage which is pretty much what I got. Had a Issan girl named 'Juum' large breasts, short hair, 1 kid, 24. Very hard worker and skilled. Did not do the initial shower together which I was also disappointed, but the massage was actually OK and the 'exotic' part was very well executed. Clean room and not too much noise from other clients as I went in the late afternoon. I negotiated with the mamasan 2 shots for the 2 hour session, even though menu stated 1. Solid but not amazing. 3/5.
Later that night I headed over to Demonia for something a little different and it was not a far walk. It was just an hour after they opened, and I was really tired from traveling. I got a private less show with 1 mistress and 2 slaves girls. I got to interact with them and learn their limits. I asked to see their line up, had 2 Ts and the 2 slaves I was shown and 2 mistress total. Ts are not really my style but the were not stunners, you could tell. Of the 2 slaves I had "Bee". She has a better face, slightly darker skin but nice rack. They told me since I am a master that I should take a mistress with me and do 2 girls, but I would receive a discount. I said no I only wanted one, but since I wanted the SM room well. I said OK, I bought all 3 lady drinks and we did some more public play and I learned exactly what the limits were. Then took the SM room upstairs for some private play. They had a red X with some worn hand straps, and a stockade that doesn't really lock down that well. I was able to select from a small batch of tools / toys. I took a rope, paddle, and blindfold. It was pretty fun, but I am not 100% sure I got my whole 90 min after my shot. I thought I had more time to play, maybe 10-15 min left but wasn't sure. So just cleaned up. I did not tip, nor did I buy additional lady drinks after that even after the bar mistress pushed me a little. Its probably the best, easy access place to play if your into it. Can't go super hard unless you pay even more of a premium, but reasonably fun. You can bring your own toys and costumes as well if you want to get more into it. Its much more expensive then the vanilla places where you get your standard service, but it is much more exciting at least for me. Fun and a totally different experience especially for those of you who are looking to play. 4/5.

In some Thai Take away or Imbiss shops in Germany, there are Thais cooking Thai food, but they have no experience cooking Thai food at all when they lived in Thailand. One of them put tomato sauce in the Phat Thai to make it more red colour. The colour is supposed to come partly from dried shrimps, but you guessed it, they don't have any dried shrimps and Germans don't like dried shrimps.
When I asked why my stir fry (a relatively dry dish) was swimming in a lake of Soi sauce, they explained that Germans like a lot of sauce. Naturally I could not taste anything except Soi sauce.
Sorry to divert from the Bangkok thread, but I suggest for real Thai food, you really have to get it in Thailand, or perhaps fluke someone who really knew how to cook Thai food and is not changing it drastically for the local preference. So called Authentic Thai food is very difficult to find OS, especially Germany, but I have found the odd passable to good restaurant. Its quite possible to get very bad inedible Phat Thai even in Bangkok, where the "chef" is not experienced and wrong ingredients are used.
Above all be very careful where you order western food in Bangkok. Thais don't have a lot of clue about how the dish should be without significant training.
Yes ratings don't mean much. Coconut milk in Tom Yung is certainly not uncommon. Also it is not Tom Yung soup. You don't need to use the word soup, that is a redundancy.
Correct. Soup was only added as explanation, if being technical. Tom means boiled and Yam means a salad or mixture of items like prawns, lemon grass, mushrooms, spring onions, shallots etc. Tom Yam is known to be a soup dish by most people.
Yam (some would write Yum) is correct, rhymes with English word Rum, so cannot be spelled with an NG on the end.
Proper Tom Yam has two styles, clear soup, and milky soup. The second variety is achieved by adding milk, but not coconut milk. I never experienced Tom Yam containing coconut milk in Thailand. It would be incorrect. Sometime the seafood clear soup variety is called Po Taek, meaning the fisherman's trap broke open releasing a variety of seafoods.
Check any good websites for ingredients of Tom Yam. You will not find coconut milk. I assumed that people noticed Tom Yam never tastes of coconut at all.
As BionicMan points out Tom Kha Gai is a different type of soup (Chicken Galangal soup). It does have coconut milk in it.
Went there on a Monday night, bit of a slow night relatively speaking, I could even get a seat, imagine that.
There was a girl dancing naked who had a nice pussy, big tits and a big smile, so when she threw herself at me after her stint round the chrome pole I bought her a lady drink. I am pretty sure her name was Bao and her number was 72. Barfine was 700 and we agreed on 2500 for short time. Went to the short-time hotel at the other end of Soi Cowboy and bought a condom.
I have to say her service was not very good. She was very dick-shy. I mean, Gosh, you're in this business, if you need some lube to take a farang then at least carry a bottle in your purse, no? At some point I asked her to be more sexy, and to her credit she made some effort and managed to bring me to satisfactory completion. But it was one of those moments to be forgotten.
Plus she was coughing because she'd had a cold or the flu for 2 days and looked scarily contagious, so now I'm overdosing on VitaminC to boost my immune system just on the off chance.
Not sure how you feel about negative reviews, but here is one.
Dick shy girls are not uncommon. I must have mentioned this a thousand times already. LOL No. 72 is not a girl I have paid attention to. Don't recall the number. Girls cannot be trusted to have lube. They may imagine a 5 min quick fuck with a small dick.
I always take my own lube and condoms and I have good quality non sticky lube from OS. This may seem impractical however you can buy lube from shop on Soi cowboy, or Asoke Place ST Hotel does have very small sachets of lube, available (can't recall how much). Unfortunately each sachet contains so little, you might need several of them. LOL. So better to buy at the 7 Eleven next to Asoke Place ST Hotel.
There is no cure for the common cold. Its a virus. Some medicines are useful to dry up runny nose or avoid throat tickle causing coughing.
Vitamin C and Echinecha are general considered to be bullshits remedies, folklore, or worthless. Don't expect any result and you won't be disappointed. I treat the symptoms instead. Drink lots of water, use saline nasal rinses, etc.
Pick a new gogo girl? It's a crap shoot whether she is into a significant dicking or not. I even subtly found out recently that my target girl Jun (93) says she prefers big dick. LOL That was a good sign, and the fuck went very well with DFK available. Rather flat chested slim girl chosen for things other than tit size.

Hundreds of these.
But none hired to cook in a Thai restaurant.
Problem is they won't find the very same herbs, ingredients and also use to cook in a way not suitable to the stringent health regulations of western countries.

Bangkok High End Places
Thailand – Bangkok Upscale Suggestions.
Be sure and use the Concierge at your hotel to help set up reservations at the restaurants and drivers to get you around town. Be sure to get a business card (here they say name card) of the hotel and keep in your pocket to show a taxi driver if you get lost from your driver.
Restaurants.
Nahm Restaurant in the Metropolitan Hotel was just named one of the best restaurants in the World. While I have not eaten there my clients who have been say it is as good as any place in Singapore and that is saying a lot. Nahm in Thai means water. www.nahm.como.bz.
Metropolitan Hotel Bangkok.
27 South Sathorn Road.
Tungmahamek, Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand.
+66 2 625 3333 www.comohotels.com.
Breeze – Next to Nahm this is the place a completely only in BKK experience and the food is awesome only a notch below Nahm. The scene alone will blow you away a really cool place. www.lebua.com/breeze.
State Tower, 1055 Silom Rd. , 52nd FL. Bang Rak, Bangkok, 10500 Phone: 02/624–9555.
Vertigo – This on the top of the hotel out in the open air and you can go for just drinks and sunset or also eat they are known for the seafood.
Banyan Tree Hotel, 21/100 S. Sathorn Rd. , Silom, Bangkok, 10120 Phone: 02/679–1200.
Salathip – This is on the river and you can sit outside and watch the boats float by on the breeze. I am a fan of the Shangri La chain and the lobster and prawns here are great.
Shangri-La Hotel, Charoen Krung (New Rd.), 89 Soi what Suan Plu Bang Rak, Bangkok, 10500.
Phone: 02/236–7777.
Mezzaluna – The most expensive place in town and while you are paying for the view the food is also good to great.
State Tower, 1055 Silom Rd. , 65th FL. Bang Rak, Bangkok, 10500 Phone: 02/624–9555 www.lebua.com.
Jade Garden – If you want dim sum the best place in the city, I would not eat dinner here but for late morning great.
Montien Hotel, 54 Surawong Rd. , Silom, Bangkok, 10500.
Phone: 02/233–7060.
Ladies.
Bangkok Gold Escorts – The owner is from the US and is married to the mamasan who is a Thai lady. It is expensive for Thailand but higher quality ladies who come to your hotel room. You can also get 2 for a 3-some similar to what you get at The Eden Club but with much higher end ladies.
www.bangkokgoldescorts.com
www.edenbangkok.com – This is the famous Eden Club and while it is not the best it is still one of the best shows in town. You get 2 ladies for 90 minutes and as many pops as you can muster. You choose the ladies and they take you up to the room with a suitcase full of toys. They are bi-sexual and will do literally anything you want for 90 minutes.
High End Soapie Massage Places – Lord is the best, it is new and has the highest end ladies but I also like Poseidon it has been there longer and has a great reputation. Below the 2 site links is the detailed map of the area and there are another 8 or more places that offer similar services.
The standard service is you walk in and are met by a captain or manager who will ask what you want and you just ask for the best of the best and they will keep taking from area to area until you find a lady or ladies you like. You will also want a nice room so ask for a VIP room (not a party room those are for many guys and ladies). The lady will help you undress and you will get in the bath together and she will clean you and meet you in the bed for whatever you want.
Just be upfront and open with what you want and they will accommodate you and do not be shy they have heard everything before.
Tipping is easy if you have a good time give them 500 baht and if you had a great or memorable time give them 1,000 baht and if the service is bad nothing and complain to the manager.

I should also point out the the Tom Yum you frequently get served in Bangkok and surrounds is far too sweet. Thais have a sweet tooth with food. I much prefer the more savory version you get in the northern provinces and in Lao.
