I should also point out the the Tom Yum you frequently get served in Bangkok and surrounds is far too sweet. Thais have a sweet tooth with food. I much prefer the more savory version you get in the northern provinces and in Lao.
What is hilarious in all this is that you see perfectly cooked Thai food made by street vendors on a small bicycle trolley with basic tools and means. Hundreds of these.
But none hired to cook in a Thai restaurant.
Problem is they won't find the very same herbs, ingredients and also use to cook in a way not suitable to the stringent health regulations of western countries.
Indeed, I was wary of eating Thai food off the street. But, I noticed most sit down restaurants in my area where I was staying were oriented to foreigners whether they be English, Australian, Middle Eastern or Indian. And they were not cheap, save for the Indian places and those were not dirt cheap either. One day I was walking down Soi 11 and I passed a new bar under construction, and I noticed a worker eating happily from a bowl. He saw me looking at his food, smiled and held up the bowl, saying "You like Thai food!" Immediately after that, I stopped at the first food cart that had seating in an adjacent parking lot, and ordered what was being served, with a Coke pulled from an ice chest. After that I ate mostly at the street carts and street cafes that catered to Thai people. I didn't go into many sit-down restaurants, preferring to literally rub shoulders with the locals at crowded sidewalk tables. Not only was the food cheap, but it tasted very good and I did not get sick once. Maybe a bit of after burn around the anus when I expelled the stuff, but at least if came out solid. I liked the Thai food I ate in the US, but after 9 days in Thailand I became a believer.
Someone here once posted the comment: I get everything off the street. Women, food, ED drugs. Well, I thought that sounded reckless at the time, but that became my modus operandi after the 3rd day.

Answer to your question should be explained on our blog. I would also like to ensure you that ratings will never be removed. For those of you that are technical you can actually see on the JSON response while fetching availability that we do not remove ratings but only show ratings if the companion has had 3 or more ratings.
Yes, I see that on your website blog now and understand the rating system is still a work in progress. Thank you for responding here. While no rating system will ever be perfect, I think it is great that you are providing a means for customer feedback while at the same time giving the girls an added incentive to do their job well, higher ratings very logically and likely leading to more bookings for the girls with higher ratings, of course. I wish more P4P venues offered as much and not just those related to the escort option.

If ordering Phat Thai or Tom Yum or even Gaeng Jeut, I would say no sugar, no MSG, and no garlic to suit my taste. Some dishes I don't order at all, as ingredients are too powerful (and too sweet), e. G. Phat Kraphao.
For Som Tam, I have to say not sweet, not salty, not spicy (one chilli only), no raw peanuts, no beans (raw), no crab, no Plaa-Raa (pickled mud fish), no MSG, and no garlic. They look puzzled and say that no one could eat it, so plain and tasteless. I get flavour from dried shrimps. It is too much hassle to even order it, so modified. Thais have a hard time following instructions as well, since their hand just adds things automatically with brain disengaged.
True that Thais in Bangkok appear to add a tablespoon of sugar to everything (no good for low carbs diet), and a spoon of MSG to most things. Pretty much the same in Isaan regions. Can't comment on North and Laos.
Having the set of 4 bowls with spoons to adjust taste on each table is a good idea, sugar, chili flakes, vinegar, fish sauce maybe or chillies in sauce. I don't use any of the flavour adjusters, occasionally use the chili.
I get food off the street or in the prepared street stalls all the time. Does not scare me, assuming its freshly prepared. Far more risky for me to eat a restaurant dish with big river bred prawns in it. Beware of street carts with little or no business where the ingredients like meat and seafood may be too old and spoiled. They could not afford to throw it out and tried to keep too long.
I always use the sniff test on food, since my nose works all too well, especially if has been kept and not freshly prepared. If food is to be heated up, sniff again after heating. If smells too sour or weird, throw out.
You are talking through your backside as usual. Tom yum place is a clear fish soup. Tom Yum Gung, can certainly have coconut milk in it and frequently does.
Nope you are wrong. Really should check your facts before shooting your mouth off, even if you imagine a coconut taste in your Tom Yum.
https://www.eatingthaifood.com/tom-yum-soup-recipe/. I provided this web site with the recipe.
I quote them:
"Contrary that many people think tom yum is made creamy with coconut milk, it's actually nom kream tiam (นมครีมเทียม), which is canned evaporated milk (as opposed to sweetened condensed milk). ".
You can check plenty of other Thai recipe web sites. I checked several. I also checked with a Thai chef I know well. Suggest you do the same.
In Thailand, it would be extremely rare for some idiot to put coconut cream in Tom Yum Gung. Don't recall it ever happening. Did happen to me in a Thai takeaway in Germany resulting in the Tom Yam being more like Curry Laksa.
Coconut milk is supposed to be for Tom Kha Gai.
I am landing in BKK around 2 AM. Are girls still around at 3-4 AM in the morning.
Planning to stay in Ambassador hotel for 2 nights.
Main reason for picking this hotel is the climax club. Any experience around this time?

Well, I thought that sounded reckless at the time, but that became my modus operandi after the 3rd day.
Yup, my BEST girls in SEA have all been SW, or FL from places like LA Cafe in Manila, and Soi 7 Beer Garden, Bangkok. Even Hard Rock Cafe (yes that one) in Jakarta. I have a barfine phobia.
As for food, If you do eat off the street, NEVER visit a Thai wet market!
But even if you do see a market and leave grossed out, understand that all bar the high end restaurants, and global chains, get their protein from these markets.
So you may as well eat off the streets anyway. Street food also sits around a lot less than in bigger establishments, and wok seared food has had a lot of the pathogens destroyed by heat.
The high end places are using bulk suppliers like Makro (same same costco) where standards are much more universally hygienic.
ED street drugs; well, the kamagra gel seems to be the one I'd trust as the real deal, but it gives me unpleasant side effects. Do not buy Cialis off the street, it will either be fake, or long since expired.
Here's a tip, genuine Cialis works for up to three days per dose, usually 48 hrs guaranteed.
You can ask to break open the pack and buy just ONE single pill at most mom and pop drugstores for around THB 500 (The pharmacist on Soi 22 a few doors from Buddy's restaurant will certainly do this) which is cheaper than it sells in Australia where it's made!
This pill can then be cut with a pill cutter into two half doses, which if you do not have actual ED is more than enough to get you nice and firm for the same 48 hrs.
Bang bang, go shoot her down!
Thailand Bangkok Upscale Suggestions.
Tipping is easy if you have a good time give them 500 baht and if you had a great or memorable time give them 1,000 baht and if the service is bad nothing and complain to the manager.

As a foreigner, it's best to be guided by the local market.
I am happy for you that THB 1000 is no big deal, and it's entirely up to your own discretion.
Where I do get annoyed, is you are encouraging other newbies to throw money around when BKK sexual services are already ridiculously overpriced.
My Thai dentist just did the following: 1 x ray, 2 x novocaine jabs, remove old crown, insert temp crown, two hours work for her and the nurse, the bill THB 1700.
Can you see that THB 1000 as a tip is perhaps a little bit over the top?

Don't know why, but every stupid european breakfast house has the most unsanitary food. I get very sick eating at the tourist restaurants (both Thai food and western food ones) as these people couldn't care if I was eating dead rat heads, they'll never see me again. So I keep to the street food, as those cooking for the locals are relying on repeat customers and are there for years at the same spot. And yeah their food does taste better than the restaurants. They cook 1-2 things and are good at just that.
BKK traffic is the worse I have ever seen it. Just endless cars that barely move. The Raja hotel is covered up so its either being torn down or remodeled. I could not see it because of barriers. The Russian girl that used to work there now work on Soi 3. If you stand in front of Grace hotel walk up the hill till you see the big hospital on the left. The hotel next to the hospital is where the girls are. The touts are in front of the hotel. Before there used to be only 1 or two touts. Now there is like 8 of them. Each one has a different price for the same girl. 3600, 3000, 2600 etc. Only 8 Russian girls working just OK looking. Nothing like the 30 that used to work before all much hotter. One of the touts looks like a Russian gangster. I was kind of worried if I was going to be assaulted be him.
The only busy tourist area was Soi 4 by nana plaza. Many African girls and many very pretty. They want big money too. The starting is 2000 baut but some can be talked down to 1500 baut. Thai girl are still 1000 baut. BKK was cool just too expensive especially at the massage places that want 1800- 2200 baut.

Like you said, I noticed the street carts and cafes have a limited menu, often one item. But, it doesn't sit there long. And of course, look at which places are favored by the locals. They know what is good.

Plenty of street walkers still around I guess. Used to have cart bars till very late but police shut them down. Not really best action at 4 AM.
Maybe find out the very late discos.
At 10 AM try Morning Night or Stumble Inn bars in Soi 4.

They do charge 20 baht to photocopy the lady's ID. Can't speak to value for money, but it's walking distance to Nana BTS, which suits me just fine as I'll be taking the Express Train + BTS from the airport.
