These people will go after money (in the case of LE) or publicity in the case of the others and they will definitely go after mongers.

It is at this stage that laws would be interpreted to go against you and even if you did go to court and clear your name, the damage to you in terms of family, reputation, work, peace of mind and money would already be done because of bad publicity. Always remember that in India you have "trial and conviction" by society and the media regardless of the actual nature of your actions.
