For education, the western world generally focuses on asking questions and critical thinking, East asia / SE Asia generally focuses on memorization and repetition of tasks, rarely new ideas or methods or deconstruction. Basically, critical thinking is generally not a prioritized skill in the east, while in the west, its fundamental part of the curriculum from start to finish. Of course you will find exceptions here, but these are more or less general concepts of the difference in ideas of education.

The girls keep coming and coming at least til Songkran. 'High season' means lots of guys/customers. It doesn't necessarily mean fewer girls in "low season'. The 2 months I noticed the fewest girls in Pattaya gogo bars are July and August but the girls quickly return around mid to end of September.
