My problem with Beer Garden on Soi 7 wasn't so much the lady's ages but that I never found a woman in there committed to being very good at their supposed job. <snip> Oh, and I hated what those giant wind-tunnel fans did to my hair. LOL. Hopefully, whoever takes over in whatever business will have the decency to pop for a little aircon unit.
I doubt that whatever development might replace Soi 7 Beer Garden will be monger-oriented, but rather the steamroller of tourist and shopper-oriented gentrification will continue as what happened to the shops and food stalls opposite. On a separate note, I was just going through Asoke BTS today and saw that the entire plot which had Hemingway's restaurant and bar is now flattened, so say goodbye to their tasty burger and shrimp cocktail and say Hello, to something with a Starbucks in the ground floor. Enjoy Bangkok, AsianRain.
The next three times I went in there, I did a walk around and straight out the door again.
Same experience. Different days. Just the state of the Bangkok world. Enjoy Bangkok, AsianRain
Very strange.
Not a major mystery. Unless I am wrong, EihTooms has the nickname "smoothie" on another monger forum. Enjoy Thailand, AsianRain.

Hooters at soi 4 is a step in the threshold. Rajah complex / striker bar follows up in a major size.
At the best you will get MP a they havein MBK, fully legitimate, no hints of anything. Thailand is known for massage, bybus for the naughty side, by the tourists for the healthy side, with lots of grey areas when a man says "I go massage" sounding legitimate. But the wife better not check the MP.
Nobody can judge you bad if you "go to a bar for a drink", but if you do this in NEP. Well. Nobody can believe you are thirsty.
New malls, new 5 star hotels will not like to have FL on their doors.
Se might see more upscale clubs, bars, less brothel style. A hit like Dubai, in its way.
NEP Will be the last to fall as it is located in a physical niche you have to enter, not in the open street.
Beer garden: think about the building volume available above its land.
Get half of the square meter rent of beer garden and multiply it by 8-10 or more floors.
Can't see a long life for BG. Honestly.
Whatever is "one floor" establishment in low sukhumvit is at danger. Striker bar has been the first to fall down in this strategy.
The terrace restaurants opposite beer garden went down time ago.
Beer garden the next?
Hello gents,
Has anyone had their drinks spiked at Nana? I had a weird experience last night. I walked into Nana completely sober about 10 pm. I first went to spankys and had one drink. The girls were not to my liking and it was too crowded so I left. Took a stroll around the 2nd floor and walked into another bar on the opposite end of spankys, do not remember the name now. I got another drink and a cute girl came and sat with me. I bought her a lady drink and then made thr mistake of leaving my drink at the table and going to the gents. I got back had a few more sips of my drink and was chatting to the girls when I started feeling strange. By this time the girls and the mamasan were pushing me to bar fine her. I lnew something was wrong because this was my 2nd drink only and I never felt like this before (sweating, giddy, blurred vision) I quickly paid my tab walked out and got a cab back tot he hotel. I kind of passed out in the cab but made it back yo my room safe. Went to bed. Woke up about 3 am to get a drink of water while standing at the table in my room I seem to have passed out compeltely. Got concious about an HR later found my self passed out on the floor of my room with a gash on my cheek where I hit the table when I passed out.
I still have no idea how or what happened to me.
I would go see a doctor immediately, especially if you are in BKK!
I don't believe that your drink was spiked; it could be any number of medical ailments such as a mini heart attack to "fainting" due to exhaustion, heat and dehydration.
I had that sweating, giddy, blurred vision session one time after a very vigorous bike ride. Only about 2-3 minutes but I can't tell you if that is accurate. I was totally out of it. It turned out it could have been a mini heart attack. Singapore's PM Lee also did a faint on stage a few months ago and his condition was "vasovagal syncope".
So, if you can, go and see a doc!
Was in Thermae last night. Was my regular haunt 3 to 4 times a week between 99 and 07. When I enter Khun Somchai still comes up, greets me, and remembers what I drink, even thought I only venture in there about twice or three times a year these days. While there are some lookers, albeit most with lots of surgeries, there are lots of mediocre gals in there as well, and frankly I just find it depressing. It is Asian style, not Farang style. Pre-02 you rarely saw Asian guys in there. By 07 they were quite the force. It used to be a lot of fun, I mean a lot of fun. Gals drinking, dancing, grabbing your unit as they walked by, and propositioning you. Now the punter is at the disadvantage as he has to do all the work. Also most of the really good looking gals are Asian only. In fact, I had quite a few gals look away from me as I walked by. Really, I don't need to be dissed by P4 P gals. Also the prices are a bit steep IMHO.
Well I am asian so I guess I don't have that disadvantage. I did see it being full of Japs though with very few caucasians.
That is weird. I wonder what day you were there and what time. Very late? Obviously not a peak time.
I went on a Wednesday after 1030 pm. So yeah maybe late. Whats the peak time at Thermae?
This was last weekend, I didn't have a chance to sit down and write this as I was traveling around a lot.
Exotic Massage: Located near Kiss in the same little Soi alley. Before selecting this one, I checked out kiss and the few surrounding parlors. Also peeked in some closer to the BTS. This def had the best line up. I went for the 2 hour nuru session, paid upfront after menu selection. The oil was not really nuru which was a disappointment, but the place was not actually set up for that. Just massage table and cubicle shower, not a large tiled floor and air mattress. It was the same price as a normal oil massage which is pretty much what I got. Had a Issan girl named 'Juum' large breasts, short hair, 1 kid, 24. Very hard worker and skilled. Did not do the initial shower together which I was also disappointed, but the massage was actually OK and the 'exotic' part was very well executed. Clean room and not too much noise from other clients as I went in the late afternoon. I negotiated with the mamasan 2 shots for the 2 hour session, even though menu stated 1. Solid but not amazing. 3/5.
Later that night I headed over to Demonia for something a little different and it was not a far walk. It was just an hour after they opened, and I was really tired from traveling. I got a private less show with 1 mistress and 2 slaves girls. I got to interact with them and learn their limits. I asked to see their line up, had 2 Ts and the 2 slaves I was shown and 2 mistress total. Ts are not really my style but the were not stunners, you could tell. Of the 2 slaves I had "Bee"..
I had also tried the Demonia at BKK, they are expensive but the dungeon scene is perfect, with all the accessories. Would appreciate if you could tell us how many baths did they charge. Post by visit to Demonia I went to cupid,(plaza hotel) it was a sad scene.
I went on a Wednesday after 1030 pm. So yeah maybe late. Whats the peak time at Thermae?
I am not expert but I suspect Thermae peaks a bit later. You were probably there early, contrary to what I was thinking.
It's possible its just the time of year reducing the numbers. It's also a bit of a surprise that Billboard and Twisters line ups would not be good early in the evening, and that Thermae was better for you. Perhaps you look for something quite different to me. Maybe you are the Baccara and RB5 type of customer, which I definitely am not.
It now comes as no shock that you are Asian. So our taste in Thai women is likely to be very different.
Wow. I would have never noticed that.
It was a little too weird for me not to notice. LOL. Especially after reading Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code.
Reverse Syzygies and get Seigyzys. Hardly makes much difference.
Next time I change handles, I am to use a random sequence of numbers and letters, so that my name will be totally unpronounceable, and no one will be able to gossip about me. LOL My only worry then is being able to Logon. Something like 6kqx10gt4 would be nice.
Wow. I would have never noticed that.
Really? I assumed it was obvious the first day I used it here. LOL. I would have admitted it anytime if anyone had asked. But nobody did. And I felt my bringing it up was either a non issue or in a vague way promoting another site where I did use smoothie. Not necessary or my intention.
I tried to register with the nik smoothie but a notice popped up and said that one had already been used. And it was spelled that way, not the way Smoothy spells it. I have never seen anyone else posting under the nik smoothie here so it is entirely possible that I was the one who originally chose that nik a long time ago but totally forgot about this site and lost track of the password I used, maybe even a different email address or whatever. Then again, smoothie is not an uncommon nik to use all over the net. I have encountered it elsewhere and it wasn't me.
Incidentally, the site itself chose the weird two word version with a capital E and capital T. I tried to do it without that but the site just insisted whenever I signed in so I let it go. lol.

Standing room only. About 15 guys in the room and girls lined along the wall. Slim chances for these girls, made even slimmer by their lack of motivation. They were wasting their time, and I would advise anyone going in there not to waste too much time either. I was staying at the Ruamchitt Plaza, so it was easy to take the girl up the stairs to check-in and up the elevator to my room. Otherwise, you are better off spending your time out on the streets picking up girls for 1000 baht ST. Okay, it is mildly amusing to watch Thai girls pitch absurd prices to clueless North Asian guys, but only for a the time it takes to drink a beer.

I haven't been there in years, but I thought that was the going rate.
I still have no idea how or what happened to me. I can only guess something was put in my drink when I CodeWord140. I have been drinking and mongering in strip bars, fkks and even nana many times and never felt like this before.
It seems unlikely that your drink was spiked or if it was, they totally missed their mark. What good would it do to them to have you pass out in their bar and then rob you? That would be too obvious.
