The short-term rooms at Cascadas were $16 for 30 minutes if I recall correctly (this was in February and March this year). $6 for a 15-minute streetgirl session. Or maybe it's 20 minutes without the VIP. Never done it without the VIP card. With the VIP card, the time was extended to 45 minutes (for $16) and 30 minutes (for $6), respectively.

I thought by default, you had to use the hotel the SG has a relationship with. Is it hard to get a Street Girl to agree to use the Cascadas rooms?

You need to talk to the chica if she does not post in front of Cascada because she might upsell for added time (same as if you had a room there.).

I have favorites travel as far as Schoolgirl corner go to Cascada. (I usually have my own room).

Most streetgirls won't go to the cascadas unless they post in front of the hotel. My experience has been if it's the first time with the SG they real haven't wanted to go up to cascadas. They will hesitate. Now the next time I have been with a particular SG they have been ok with going up there. I believe it's a safety thing with them. Treat them good the first time and at the end of the session ask if the next time you hook up if you can go to your room in cascadas. This has worked for me. Not every time though... I should also add that they have asked to pay there hotel fee before leaving to cascadas...

I have stayed in Casadas and when I do I am in the roaming mode as my cell is bouncing off of the cell towers located in Mx, so I stay at the 3rd or 4th floor of Leyva facing North-East into the parking lot and BAMM, I receive a clear line of sight signal to the cell tower in CA! This means that my phone thinks I am in San Diego when actually I'm in Mexico.

Now I leave my cell phone IN THE ROOM and do not carry it as then it goes into roaming and hence the funny international type of ring that the caller would hear. Hell I don't like Leyva but I also get work related calls so this works.

Next the bus deal, no its not a scam but the van you get into pulls into the special bus lane and I have waited upwards of 2. 5 hours sitting in the van, so it does not buy you any time in crossing. It is not a scam though just you will sit the hours and not have to stand perhaps in the heat of the day.

The trick is the SENTRI pass, I just went online and applied for mine a few weeks back. That line is usually 20 minutes when the regular line is 2 - 3 hours.

Who is your cell carrier?

International roaming in Mexico with my phone's carrier would cost over $4 a minute--way too much. I read on a phone forum that a SIM from the Mexican carrier TelCel is a low-cost way to make calls from Mexico to the USA. What other carriers do you all use to make calls while in Tijuana? Is there a conveniently located cell phone store near Hong Kong or Revolution?

Usually the whole back alley can go to cascades because of the luxury and security.

That will get you in the Ready Lane, and if you already have a passport book the passport card is only $30 plus photos. The longest I have ever waited in the Ready Lane is about an hour, when the regular line was at least 3 hours. That was a particularly horrible day. The other times it was never more than 20 minutes.

Some of them don't know the name or where it is, so if I'm in the alley I just point to it and tell them it's right over HK. I've been with 6 or 7 SGs in the alley, and none of them has refused me service in Cascadas. YMMV.

They take walkins, but on weekend they fill up. just like any hotel make a reservation to be sure. Make a reservation to get a better rate. I do believe it is $5. I get a room for $50 on Sunday every week. It may be $45 with VIP card. I just don't go to HK that much anymore so my VIP expired. I don't do the Short term room at Cascada, but If I did I would suggest the VIP card, The Extra time (45 min for BGs & 30 min for SGs) is WELL WORTH it! Cascada are ASSHOLES at watching the clock no matter what day or time. The cum boys want the tip as fast as possible. The knock comes early!

If I don't have a room in Cascada, I don't go there! I go with "Cascada" girls when I have a room there, and go with other girls when I am not. (to their hotels).

Did a little more research on good Mexican phone carriers we can use while in Tijuana. The carriers TelCel and Movistar seem to be inexpensive and reliable. You can even buy your Mexican SIM online at Ebay-dot-com before your trip, so you won't have to be looking for a phone store in Tijuana (or convenience store that sells SIMs). You know the SIM is that little chip that fits into GSM cell phones that work with AT&T and T-Mobile. However, Verizon and Sprint phones are CDMA ([B][u]not GSM[/u][/B]), so they don't use SIMs, so their phones won't work with TelCel or Movistar. Just take out the SIM in your current AT&T or T-Mobile phone and put in the TelCel or Movistar SIM.

One of my phone carriers doesn't offer voice roaming at all in Mexico while my other carrier charges over $4 a minute for international roaming in Mexico. No bueno. I think the TelCel and Movistar prepaid SIMs should give you roughly 3 to 10 cents a minute for calls you make while in Tijuana to Mexican phones and to USA phones.

I travel in baja quite often and purchased a telcel for that purpose. Service is really good. Its an older style phone nothing fancy. $25 works great. You can buy at any oxxo and purchase minutes as well at oxxo. Very inexpensive I usually only add $10 at a time and that lasts 4 days or so depending on usage of course.

I have verizon and a iphone 5. There is a slot in my iphone 5 for a SIM card. I was told it would work with a SIM card overseas when I purchased my phone. Wonder if the salesman knew what they were talking about
