I have scoured the forum and can't find any answers, so hoping someone here can help.I'd like to get recommendations for hotels in the USD 150 to 250 per night price range in a great downtown location. Last year I stayed at ANA Hotel in Roppongi (loved it, but it's booked up this time). Grand Hyatt is a bit more than I would prefer to spend since I'll be staying for 7-10 days. Anything comparable close to Roppongi that is girl friendly? Is Oakwood service apartments a good place? Also, would staying in Shibuya or another area be worth considering? Note that I am a late night partier and both location and quality (clean, not too small, good service) are important to me. Of course must be girl friendly too.Thank you all very much in advance.-B-

HK on the other hand usually has 6-12 on 141's site, and I can attest that they are real (and hot)....though the hotel service routine is a bit standard for my personal tastes.

Regarding hotels, I was always wondering why nobody ever recommended the Cerulean Towers in Shibuya, which is most of the times very affordable, very classy - rooms are quite big by Japanese standards, close to Shibuya and Roppongi, and definitely GF (i never knew of any hotel who was not in Japan). Ask for a room with king size, if not they will give u 2 reasonably sized bedrooms. A special mention for the bar on the 20 something th floor. Very good to bring a date there, and then down to your room. Have fun, will report next time i am there.

It is an easy train ride over to Roppongi with the subway station right across the street from the Hyatt. I usually head over to Roppongi just before midnight and come back on the first train at 5 am , unless I have hooked up with something and then I use a cab. I have brought girls back to the Century Hyatt many times after midnight and no one even bothers to look at you. Besides the Hyatt the Hilton is right across the street along with a bunch of other hotels that would be on a par with the ANA. From the Hyatt it is a short walk to the Shinjuku entertainment district which is nice change of pace from Roppongi. Not too many foreigners there, but if you work at it, you can find some action. If nothing else, it is a great way to kill a couple of hours just walking around taking in the sights. Just be careful of the touts trying to drag you into the clubs. Anywhere in Tokyo can work if you use the subways. Cabs should be avoided unless you are on an expensive account or have deep pockets with lots of money.

I always stay at the Cerulean Towers when I come to Tokyo. Recently used AM again and asked for Kanae this time. I must be getting too old for this shit or too lazy. I guess what I mean, is that sometimes I feel like I just want to get serviced and that the girl knows exactly what she is doing and for me not to initate all of the action. Kanae is cute enough and aiming to please but someone we just didn't click. She is as previously described. Cute on top and kind of big on the bottom. I guess when you are doing doggy it's nice to see that big ass for some. She aims to please and kept asking what do you want to do next. She shaved by the way and didn't smell that fresh below. They are most likely the girls claiming to be 'japanese' since that distinguishes themselves from the rest of the lot.

Love the location and the hotel, and have stayed there several times, but it is expensive and not for anyone on a budget. It's also about $300, after you add in the taxes.If you can afford it, I would highly recommend it.AT2

The B Roppongi (formerly Baden) is in that price range too. Both are ok but not great, and my main reason for bringing those up is location. Both in the heart of Roppongi and within walking distance of all the bars/clubs. There's also a converted condo/apartment, but I am drawing a blank on the name. Maybe someone else knows which place I'm talking about.AT2
