I have described the Thermae girls by and large as "hobbyists", not fully committed to the P4 P job but fine with finding out how little they can do in order to bank and easy 2,000-2,500 baht that night to supplement whatever small amount they earn in their regular day job.
I might have been one of the earliest on these boards to declare the "Japanese customers only" or even a "Much prefer Japanese customers" issue at Thermae dead. Since then, I have seen Field Reports on sites like this one with older falangs expressing some surprise that they were not greeted with disdain in the place lately and actually scored a decent ST or two. Then I saw this somewhat new development mentioned by Stickman in his Weekly Article a month or two ago. I was just in Thermae a couple of nights ago around 9:30 PM, the place was packed with girls and, as has been the case the last dozen times I have gone in there over the past year or two, I felt more than welcome by many of the cutest, youngest girls there and know I could easily have walked off hand-in-hand with any one of my choosing for 2,000-2,500 baht.
The only times I don't even bother approaching one of the many cute young girls trying their best to get my attention while I sit or lean against the bar with a buddy sipping on my 60 baht plain ice tea no lemon and no sugar is when I have already finished for the day before going in there, have another date lined up later but my friend wanted to stop in for a bit or, more to the point I made above, when I really don't feel like dealing with a fairly uncommitted P4 P "hobbyist" for two hours. It has not been because I wasn't being paid attention to by some of the better looking girls or because they were likely to hit me up with some ridiculous 3,000+ baht ST rate for a boring standard level of service.

Much younger than me, and had that "slouch" look popular with younger adults globally. He asked how much for two hours, and she said "six thousand" without much thought to it. Part of the problem was that he asked her out loud so that her peers as well as other customers could hear. I talked an older, but not all that old, girl into 1500ST plus 200 for cab fare. Some other younger girls were quoting me 2000-2500 for ST and were not budging on that price. But, as I've said before, these girls are delusional and wasting their time, and will waste your time. Thermae is fun for a visit, but hardly a place where you can expect to pick up a girl at a fair price. The only girl leaving there was the one who left with me. That was the only time I visited the place, and though I picked up a girl there, it will probably be my last unless I am staying at Ruamchitt Plaza again. The convenience is superb, as there is a stairwell in the back of the bar that leads to the lobby. If the bar could get some more motivated girls there ready to do business, I think the place would be a lot of fun and they would actually sell more drinks. But, for now its a curiosity, not a serious mongering destination.
The next night I walked out on the street and found a superb f*ck for 1000 without haggling. Convenience aside, walking down Sukhumvit to find a girl is more expedient unless you are out front later, and I swear there was a mob out front of Ruamchitt Plaza just after 2:00 AM and more girls along the block, who were ready to do business.
If you do go to Thermae, I suggest you dress presentable, have your game on, and keep your voice down when you start to haggle. A bunch of girls going in there trying vainly to nab some Japanese guy for 3000 for very short time, don't want their peers to hear them say yes to half that price for some farang.

It is hard for me to take an ordinary looker with highly likely enhanced tits, possible hidden body problems, etc. When the real lookers, rather few, are not keen on me, offering me a higher farang price, or not making themselves available. Getting dick scared girls or non DFK girls also seems to be too likely.

That is when a flood of new Asian customers start flowing in and, no doubt about it, triggers a feeding frenzy of eye contact, reaching out and big beaming smiles for that new Asian blood spreading around. Had some tour bus arrived at the usual time and this was the first stop for Asians who had heard Thermae girls favor them? If a somewhat predictable flood of Norwegians came in about 10 PM every night, would Thermae girls be checking their watches waiting for 10 PM in order to see if there were interesting Norwegians to target? Just for clarity, I only took her to bed without kino escalation because the venue was closing. This was the only only way I could think of solving my logistical nightmare.
