I like the sound of Bar LaViente, but it seems to close at 9 pm, I'll make sure I visit there early one evening.

I visited this establishment this morning by 10:45 am. My intention was to visit La Veinte, but it was closed so I gave a try to this neighboring bar.

Cali report.

Day 1.

This was my 1st time going to Cali so I knew there would be a bit of a learning curve.

As soon as I got off the plane I noted how much hotter and humid it was than Medellin.

I went to hail a taxi and quickly discovered it doesn't work that way.

Back at Cali plaza we got the keys to our room. Actually they are more like apartments. Can totally tell this was an apartment building converted to a hotel. At 150 k a night which was three times the 50 k I was paying in Medellin but worth it.
