I have to spend a weekend in Warsaw and am looking for a good hotel in the city centre which is girl-friendly and preferably with working girls frequenting the hotel bar / lobby. Many years ago I remember that if you stayed alone at the Polonia Hotel quite often a girl would telephone.

The room and ask if you wanted company. I guess that sensible custom has now finished!

Any ideas / recommendations would be gratefully received.

If you prefer this kind of "hunting" in Warsaw hotels try: Mariott (Emilli Plater str.), Radison (Grzybowska str.), Hilton (also Grzybowska), Intercontiental (Emilii Palter str. However 1st flor lobby bar is for hotel guests only but yuo can snake easily), Regent Warsaw Hotel (Belwederska str. Club and casino). Good luck.

Try in Warsaw clubs as: Platnium (Fredy str), XXVII (Foksal str.), Enklawa (Mazowiecka str.), Space (Kolejowa str.) or Dekada (Grojecka str. - 40 about ladies rather then 18 LOL) WG (or semipros rather) sitting at the club bar after 10 pm. i was with this woman in april 2013 - iwona, she was residential in the grey skyscraper at the corner of marzalkowska (swietokrzyska street (centrum) on the top floor. she seems to be very busy as i needed to exchange several sms, but we managed a date. excellent performance, pictures corresponding to reality. her voice sounds a little bit like "barby" (artificial). i recommend.

Re. Your experience with Odloty. I have met three girls in my recent short stay in Warsaw over the last week. All from Odloty and all quite good experiences. Cheaper but no better than London mongering. I had to make many many calls to fix these up as most don't answer and won't mail back.

A Polish forum similar to this. The disadvantage is that. Well. It's in Polish. Google translate does wonders though, and even if the text reads a little weird, it is fairly easy to understand if you're looking at a good or bad report. They also post links and phone numbers. The next challenge is to make arrangements with the girl. Some of them get a little reluctant when you speak English to them over the phone, and they seem to be less than enthusiastic about text messages. No real suggestions for this.

My experience after a week of mongering was that of intense frustration. The Poles really don't seem to understand the culture of customer service or how to manage tourist expectations. Very few ordinary people in shops. Supermarkets etc speak any English and there is no concession to English in street signs. Literature etc. Getting directions to mongering places is hopeless. They don't understand the concept of landmarks. Don't be surprised to be ignored by young waitresses chatting amongst themselves in cafes and restaurants rather than responding instantly and attentively to you as a customer. The girls you see walking about are generally lovely however. Second only to Kiev I think, although much more matter of fact about their good looks rather than sexually aware of them. The weather was oppressively cold during my last week in October and I won't be back in the winter. Warsaw airport a good experience compared eg to Luton, taxis good and cheap, trams excellent, cake, coffee, polish food all great, old town square romantic place for a visit, Wizz air flights good but again poor management of passengers. Overall an impression of a rather introverted culture. If I had more time to explore and make friends I think I could be happy here if the weather were warmer.

Has anyone been to the casino at Centrum? If so, how is it? I think it's in the same building as the Marriott.

Spoke to Sandra herself, was very helpful to her, came fast by car etc. Upon arrival Sandra explained that she had her "women's days" and I was offered another, not so nice blond girl instead. First of all I asked if Sandra was on the game when I called, just to get this info when I came to the apartment. A big liar is what she is.

I should of course have declined the offer by then but I paid 200 zloty for a session with the blond chick. After haggling down the price from 300 (200 stated in the ad). When she claimed that BJ was covered I just stood up and left. Told that money is not the issue but a town that used to be so fun is now just full of scam-artist and it is very hard to get good service from Odloty today.
