Next to Dutch restaurant) for few hours. Finally one with some decent music. Met a nice English man from USA and a Dutch one from Austria. Aren't we all very international Anyways nice girls dancing, altho some a bit shy. Glass floor there but it's so dirty you can hardly see through it to upstairs. They did some fire show there and saw a girl with cigarette in her parts doing some smoking. All fine. What I really really really liked here was how NOT pushy at all everyone was. I think I talked to this guy for 1. 5 hour, right on bar-stool in front of stage. Had 2/3 drinks but no one ever asked me to get one unless I called someone over. Alright, midnight so time for something new. Everyone and everywhere always talks about Baccara so let's check that out. Walking in there was hardly any space but asked mamasan and she found a spot for me. Thank you! Now. I don't find this bar all that special atmosphere wise BUT I did find everyone very friendly. Esp the later the night (or maybe that's just everywhere cause the drinks have been flowing haha). A lot of girls hardly dancing and some very enthusiastic. I usually never pick the most enthusiastic dancing ones (he says after only been here 3 days) but this time one tried so hard and in a nice and funny way I told her to come over so I could at least buy her a drink. She was just as nice as she was on stage and after 1 drink I already asked if she wanted to come back to the hotel. I think she asked 2500 or so which was fine and all girls love it when you say Terminal 21 cause it's so closeby. At hotel this time they asked for ID but this was a easy process so it didn't bother me. No weird looks or anything. She was super lovely BUT me not being used to drinking back home and now drinking every day I think I struggled a bit. I also don't like it when they 'fake' moaning and all that but to be fair she kept trying really hard but at end I was just like: thank you and let's go. On a side note: can I just say I notice since I'm here how unbelievable hygienic Thai girls are. I showered with loads of girls in life but Thai girls def make sure they wash themselves really really good, and then some. Farang girls could learn something from that.

Well, once we were done she actually asked if I wanted to go for 'dinner' as it was 2 am. Sure! She took me to this place on side street of Soi cowboy. Very Thai place but ooooh soo good. Had rice with pineapple and chicken or so. Nomnomnom. I tried hers but now I know what they mean by saying Thai food is spicy.

After I bring her back to Baccara cause it's 3 am and she needs to checkout. Had fun and some laughs with the other staff and she left. I checked out the view from upstairs where 5 girls were desperate to find a late customer just before closing.

SO to reply to the above: No one asked me to buy a drink, the girl only had one, didn't ask for more, mamasan of servers didn't so I didn't felt any pressure there. And that was for a Saturday night. I also didn't get a 'menu' with fixed prices as I saw someone mention.

TO continue: there was a tuk-tuk so I asked what the club was that was open until late: Insanity it was. TukTuk wanted to take me if I buy a ticket which ehh yeah that's why I am going there so. Commission for him, so everyone happy. Club was busy and full at 3:30. There were 2 dj's. I guess they were slightly 'famous' or so and must say they did put on a real good show with nice music. At first it was a bit hard to make contact with girls. First of all because music was so loud (well what did I expect) and secondly because the attractiveness def. Wasn't there with 90%. Where in bars I could easily take 25% home and enjoy here I think 5-10% max. So just enjoyed dancing and having a few drinks. After a hour I got bit tired so stood to the side when 2 girls were standing close to me and one of them pushed the other one towards me. As if she could tell I would love her and I did. Exactly my type and I swore for a hour she was 18-21 but later found out she was 32. Yes. It's really hard to tell sometimes. She was an amazing dancer and we had amazing chemistry. Her friend was super fun too and we kept trying to get her with other boys but they didn't seem that interested in her. Poor girl. So they asked if I wanted to go for dinner (jeez, again) at 5 so we went to this restaurant literally next to the club. I think it's part of the club actually. They have a nice outdoor space and the food was really good. They told me they were from Isaan and yes family works at the rice fields and all (haven't read that story before here) . Their English was so-so but it's a nice challenge. After promising her friend some European chocolate she left to her house and I took the girl 'home'. No ID asked this time but I told her to ask reception because she was sleeping over so I'd rather do it then. Anyway, to not make the story too long and much of a diary (just trying to help future first-timers to get a impression) she was very much a GFE which I prefer and we fell asleep hand in hand (say: awww). In the morning took her for breakfast and I then asked if she wanted to stay another night. I really liked being with her and altho I love trying different bars every night and different girls it's nice for one time to stay with one perhaps for 2 days. She is now just back to her house to change, give her friend the chocolate and then she will come back and we just have to go back to her bar to pay the barfine so she doesn't have to work tonight). Anyone advise on where to take her after? Was thinking about the 'above eleven' skybar or so. She will take me on a tour tomorrow to some sites which is nice of her and nice to visit things with a local.

On Tuesday I am heading to Pattaya to experience that. Some people in bars have told me it's a bit more 'extreme'? There so curious to check that out! Can anyone here perhaps advise a good taxi company I can call for the transfer? Rather not want to use the ones in front of hotel so prefer a nice decent clean car.

Besides being close to the action, fairly stock standard night market and fairly cheap there are so many things wrong with that hotel.

Service. Atrocious, English especially the men. I could barely talk to them. The night time guys interrupted me three times when I was screwing a bird in my room. Once to tell me that there would be a 1500 baht charge. I told him that was crazy. Second by the manager to tell me that it was 1100 instead and to sign a waiver. And the third time to get the girl's ID. Long waits for service at the reception counter, and the reception staff do not help the cashier staff when checking out. Waited nearly 20 minutes because a Chinese family in front of me took four pairs of slippers. Which they charge 200 baht each BTW. Not once did any staff come over to help guests check out. The men reception also look down pretty badly on your ladies when you bring them in. Very embarrassing. I've never seen this kind of rudeness before from Thai people.

Rooms. Dated, very dated. Shower tapes and fittings are 30 years old and the hot water changes temperature every 30 seconds. My room faced the temple repairing so I was awake several hours than I would have wanted. Not fun when you have an hangover. The king size bed was good however.

I'm not much of an complainer when it comes to cheaper hotels but this place really doesn't deserve our business. Unfortunately I booked for 3 nights brought girls home twice and didn't bother on the third night, the service especially from most of the men there really kills this place.

Reading between the lines, I think you had your first dinner of the evening at Love Scene, a favorite nearby eating establishment of many Cowboy girls. For another Issan style place that I know any Go Go girl or FL will like (and I like too); try Baan E-san Muangyos on Soi 31 Sukhumvit Rd, which is a short taxi ride from Cowboy and Soi 23. Note the friendly hours they are open: 5 PM to 4 AM. This place is very popular and rightly so.

OK its been a while so thought I'll contribute a bit with my most up to date experiences. This is over the last 3 months or so and so reflects multiple trips and visits to these places. This is my personal opinion so take it as you will. Hope this helps everyone.

Soi Cowboy. As with a lot of mongering places in Thailand, its not quite as strong as it used to be. Looking thru, Baccara is still by far the best place for the best looking ladies. They're almost all young, almost all 7's to 9's and reasonable prices (for nowadays). Drinks are now the standard 180/200 bht and short time is around 3 k+ including bar fines. Its higher than it used to be but it is what it is. Crazy House still there and still crazy but the lady quality has gone down a lot IMO, mostly 5's-7's. Cowboy 2 - well, they have several coyotes there who are amazing. But this place is a complete ripoff. These girls are doing 400 bht drinks instead of 200, and it adds up, especially when they "invite their friends" or "tip their mama / papasan". Worse. Many of the best looking ladies are not bar fineable but will pretend they are until the absolute last moment. They know well and good how to tease you till the last drop. Go in to appreciate the view but don't get cheated here.

Nana Area. I didn't visit this area so much but is similar to Soi Cowboy but girl prices are much more reasonable and quality is OK. However, its very westerners (whereas Cowboy leans a bit Asian). For the first time, I tried Eden's Club (the legendary threesome place) and Dr. BJ Salon (now Wood Salon) just out of curious from what others have said. Unless you're really really into those kinds of things. Its not particularly worth it IMO.

Soap Massage on Ratchada (note that almost all of these are primarily Asian / Thai clientele, I rarely see westerners and many times there's a farang surcharge):

Ever since Nataree closed, there hasn't been anything that filled that vacuum of huge number of extremely attractive ladies at really good prices. RIP.

Emmanuelle. This place closed down mid last year and reopened under Amsterdam owners. Unfortunately they took a different approach. Whereas it used to have a large selection (30-40+) at good prices ( 2-3. 5 k), they went crazy with the different tiers. There's now around 8 or so tiers with the highest being 7 k+ baht. The problem here with so many tiers is that they have to squeeze the best and better lookers into the top top ones. So any very good looking ones are now 4-5 k+ whereas before you can find a good spread much lower. The facilities are OK but its just a bit too expensive now for what you can get.

Merci. Next to Nataree. It has a decent selection of around 20+ usually and the prices are reasonable at 2 k-3 k on average. The girl qualities are around 5's-7's in my opinion, so its a decent place to go for value but don't expect the best.

Hi-Class. Next to Emmanuelle. Similar to Merci. Decent selection of 20-30 and prices are 2 k -3 k. Girl quality is similar to Merci but the service quality is very hit or miss. Being there several times, half the time its OK, half the time would've been better to save for a better place. I almost threw one girl out early because they were giving an attitude. They wanted to be done and out in only 30 minutes to get more customers vs the 1. 5 HR paid.

Copa Cabana. Dead. 2 girls in 1st floor, 6 girls on 2nd floor during peak hours. Not what it used to be. Shame. Had good memories here.

Caesar. Dead and closed.

Poseidon. Alive and decent. Not nearly the same quality of girls a few years ago but they have a decent selection of 30-50 girls spread on the 1 F and 3 F model areas. The 1 F area is around 2-3 k whereas the 3 F is usually close to 4-6 k. Decent service for what it is but pricey.

On other note:

Never stay at SWISSOTEL LE Concorde across the street on Ratchada. They have extremely unfriendly mongering policies and are assholes about it. They actually forced a girl friend I was meeting up with (ironically she was seeing me for free as a friend here rather than being hired) to leave the hotel, go back to her place to get her ID before coming back. It was utterly ridiculous. If you appreciate this report, avoid giving them any business.

Landed in Bangkok couple a days ago and got laid more than couple of times already. Yesterday night after a BJ at the Som's Heaven, wanted to smoke up some Hukkah. All Arab places say its not available. I did a quick google search and found that its indeed taken off. I, however also found many latest reviews of restaurants which mentioned "the food was awesome and shisha was great" . I went asked that restaurant (Bamboo pub) and they denied serving any shisha.

It won't be hard to tell if it's legit for foot massage. Go to any shop where the women are not cat-calling to you and say what you want. If they don't try to up-sell you to an oil massage because "you han-sum man" the shop is almost certainly legit. Also, the foot massage will likely be done on first floor in full view of a window.
