When I arrive in Thailand I always buy (linked to that number) a data package for (I believe) 3 GB which costs for Apple around 400 THB per month (when I had a blackberry around 2 years ago the service was cheaper or the 3 GB was higher because of the email download structure of Blackberry.

Since around 1,5 years when I go to another country I buy a data package for abroad which AIS sells in different regions.

Cambodia, Malaysia or SG they sell 1 days, 3 days or 1 week (I believe 3 days for around 600 THB). When I go to China its for 3 days around 1. 400 THB.

Means I don't need to change SIM card and I fully online abroad. Activation I do when the gate on the airport is open and I now the plain is flying out soon (activation with *123*1#, not sure if t was this. When I buy the package in a AIS store I always store that info in my calender).

If I want to call or SMS from my Thai number abroad I have to top up a lot (before or at least in Thailand); that is still expensive so use Messenger / Skype or Line for calling.

I was in CH very briefly, in October. Had one lady give me a lap dance like show. After a few minutes asked for a drink, said "tequilla coke?" So I just immediately smiled, indicating that I was onto her plan, shook me head, and just used hand language to signify 1 drink. So she got her 1 drink and no scams or any other attempts to fleece me. Place overall wasn't worth, even if they had fair business practices. Almost anytime I have been there, it's average to below average looking women every time. I hear sometimes there are stunners there, but if there are the place is probably packed anyway. Of course, this is pretty much soi cowboy for me in general, can often never find stunners / quality / my-type there. A soapy is always, baht for baht, way better than a gogo. Anyway, just my 2 cents on where my baht prefers to go for quality. For convenience / short-notice I go to oillies since they are closer.

I ordered water every time for 60 baht + some tips, then you sit in one of the chairs watching girls sitting on the center stage. There are three rows and most girls sit on the first two rows and each row is a circle. All the 4 soapies I had been have similar setup no glass between girls and customers. The girls can also see you but you can sit in a darker area, which makes me slightly embarrassing at the beginning. I usually go up to the girl I sided at the distance to talk and make sure I like her look and personality. You can ask them to come and sit with you and chat for a while without buying drink. Lord mamasan is not particularly helpful but you can still get a lot of info from them. Mamasan at other soapies I went are actually more helpful. Another thing is diff girls have diff price and you can tell from their letter like o is 4.9 k, and m is 5.3 k. They have models for up to 8-9 k but quality is not necessarily much better than 5 k girls.

I had a couple places that will require you to check the bag; I refuse and walk. The problem is that it is not safe to keep your valuables in your bag and having too many things in your pockets reduces the value of a lap dance. In massage places, just keep you bags with you. In some upmarket places in other countries, there are attendants in changing rooms with security bracelets as it takes 2 to open your locker. Safer but anything can be defeated.

I don't like my picture taken. Shit happens. Like the guy that tired to eat a girl last year in Pattaya.

I always have non-TSA combination locks for my bags. It is basically useless. A safe in room is better or maybe even downstairs. As most travelers will tell you, leave your valuables at home and travel light. I don't stay in budget hotels so I am not sure how safe they are. I have traveled for decades and have never had a major problem with room security. Most the problems I hear about theft are actually theft by fellow travelers.

The girls don't sit behind a glass like in a typical fishbowl but directly in front of the chairs about 15-20 feet away. They don't roam around (at least when I was there) but sit on a semi-circular step seating arrangement and the sideline girls were almost hidden away behind them. A minder seats you, waits for you to make your choice and the girl leads you into a corridor behind where the rooms are located where you are "booked in". The rest is the typical soapy procedure. Pricing is structured around different grades of girls; I think I paid 4500 baht for or so for my choice the last time I was there.

No skinny legs / butt, that's a deal breaker. Natural breasts of an above average (for thai) size, or breast implements are perfectly ok, and even preferable if they contour with their body (not too large). Don't care about skin color (of Thai women). Height is not at all a factor as even the most petite women can be fit / feminine. I usually end up with a petite woman if it's a gogo but a taller woman if it's a soapy. The Issan villagae girl look is perfectly fine, provided she is fit and above average facial beauty. I usually see what I like at Shark if I am on soi cowboy. But in a side by side comparion, the taller soapy girls I find much more attractive and cost about the same amount (both in the ballpark of 3500 baht).

On sofas in a circle not in a fish bowl so you can talk to them. Cost 5,000 baht and up for 90 minutes but well.

Worth it. Great looking women. 2 thumbs up I always make time to stop at least for one session when in BKK.

Be prepared to spend a total of 10-12 k Baht in an evening. 5-6 K baht inside with bottle service and the ladies time and another 5-6 K baht short time afterwards. However, not every girl is available for take out so its best to speak to the momason before choosing to get a recommendation but even then it's not 100%. G clubs are not set up for the ladies to go out with the customers but if you play your cards right then you will have some luck. It's best to go with a friend and share the cost of the bottle or bottles and then you can pay for your ladies time to drink with you and hopefully she will go out with you at the end of the night. Very rarely you will be able to get in without buying a bottle. They start at 4,000 baht regular price but as I said, there are always bottle promotions and you can share the costs with a group.
