Here's a way to avoid similar problems: always select Spanish / espanol as language. Sometimes the UI programmers don't translate well or they fat finger numerical table values. Substantially fewer users operate the ATMs using the English language option so errors (and they are usually configuration errors not fraud) take longer to be reported and repaired. Of course when that sort of thing happens in the Spanish language menus it gets put right much sooner. It's not very different from badly translated restaurant menus. I've seen some doozies on which pork, poultry, and beef are used interchangeably.
The amounts don't look realistic because they are not rounded. For that reason alone I would not have selected them. Sorry this happened to you.

Those were the days. Back in the day, the Mansion did not have chicas at night. No bar. So it was an afternoon affair and chicas were gone by 6 pm So if you did not have an appointment, you had to find your own fun. And one of those places as Mayorista. Most of the girls would "hide" back against the wall, so it was not always easy to see them. You would have to call them over to get a good look at them and also gauge if they were legal. There were plenty of UA chicas there back then. You could find some real gems. I remember a bubble butt little spinner I saw a few times. Great performance for peanuts (although the exchange rate was not as good back then. Around 2200). I even got to know the guy who ran one of the ST love motels.
It was crazy back then. I went with two gringos once and they were a little crazy. I was drinking a bear and the next thing you know the two guys were standing by the street snorting what they hoped was cocaine off a cardboard box that some street walker was holding. Cops did not care.
I also remember a group of chicas harassing me to take their friend. She was cute and was dressed up in mini-mouse clothes and a mini-mouse hat that you'd get at Disney. She was quite a spinner, but to me she was clearly jail bait, so I passed. When I passed those girls kept making fun of me. Basically telling me I was a chicken! Jajajaj. Better a chicken than in jail.
Overall, more ups than downs there. I miss those days to some extent. It was something different.

Presidential decree number 990 is real however you described its provisions very inaccurately. The decree extends the government's emergency powers to August. More importantly, it also established control measures based on the level of infections in each municipality. The measures are not new. Among them are pico why cedula, genero etc, lockdown of people 70 and older and all the others that have been around since March. In cities where the infection rate is judged to be sufficiently low, there will be fewer restrictions and more new permissions such as church services, restaurants, and the end of curfews. In cities or departments where the rate is judged to be too high (I. E. Parts of Bogota, Cordoba, Atlantico, Amazonas etc.) the restrictions will be maintained or hardened. Up to and including 24/7 lockdown.
Earlier this morning Mayor Daniel Quintero knocked down a rumor that discotecas would be allowed to open. He sent out a tweet that said it's not going to happen and neither will there be a pilot program. I haven't checked this evening but I did not see anything new from the Mayor's office as of late this afternoon. I know it's tedious but we are all better off reading the decrees or at least reputable news sources because many Colombians don't sweat the details but enjoy spreading rumors. It is why pyramid schemes and other scams are so rampant here. Just to be clear, when I say "reputable news source" I am not referring to facebook.

Just saying Hello, been reading the board the last few days and trying to get the lay of the land for Medellin. I am hoping to get down there which I guess is probably in 2021 at this point. I am very well versed in the US Strip Club scene from NC to FL and having fun and extras. I have never been out of the US really but have wanted to go to Colombia among other places in Latin America. I work with a guy who went there last year and he has been everywhere and said it was one of his favorite places, though he is not a hobbyist as far as I know.

My first visit there was about 2004 and did not partake then but in subsequent years probably have picked up about 10 chicas but over a course of about 4 years so I don't frequent the place but when I do it can be fruitful.
I was last there before the CV this was back in mid January and hope it returns / opens up in earnest again. Always like to sit at a table with my Colombian buddy and have a beer and check out the scene.
Now this afternoon I spent 4 hours in Botero / Vera area, yes saw those 2 grungy sloppy gringos as discussed in the video link posted below, shaking my head why they are there every day as I never see them picking up any chicas.
As I walked by them I payed particular attention to their faces and my gawd up close they both look like they have been 5 pack a day smokers for 50 years and alcoholic blood stained eyes, their skin looks like they have lived a hard life yes you can almost mistaken them for a homeless drug addict that lives under a bridge matter-of-fact I have seen cleaner and better groomed homeless drug addicts than these 2, hehehehe.
I am no spring chicken either but I care for my dress, grooming, mindful of my diet and weight and am clean cut always with great smelling cologne.
So in Botero and the Vera today being a Friday there was a good selection of chicas, some new faces that I have never seen before including the 18 yo paisa that I scopued up in the side street to the vera, took my car to the Palmetto hotel 2 blocks north and spent and hour plus in the room for some good pounding. Just wanted something new and she fit the bill so all in all was good, not great but good, don't know if I would repeat as there are others that I have my eye on.
