Look for my Cartagena hat on one of them.[/QUOTE]Prior to the invasion of the Venezuelans, and about five years ago all of the glue sniffers known as Sacaleros used to line up along side of the Museum where the pedestrian walkway is and there were some pretty cute ones indeed. I used to refer to this area as 'glue sniffer alley' technically though it's not a Cahuilla.

As far as the Sacaleros there's a couple of issues. The first is the stench that comes out of their pores, imagine a heavy smoker that has that nicotine odor coming from them, but even more disgusting. The second is some of them are like Zombies. There pretty easy to spot, look for a plastic bag they put the glue into and sniff out of. Also, a lot of the Sacaleros are very thin as a result of sniffing glue. I tried a few of them because I was curious, and if you wanted to you could do anything you wanted with them because they can be so spaced out. I doubt very few posters on this board would do them, but I am sure some of the regulars on this board whether they are willing to admit it or not have tried them.

Never did a glue sniffer from centro. But I did know a FB girl who got into sniffing glue. Her name was Marilyn. Can't remember the last name. She was a cute spinner, but with an odd personality. Being lazy and trying to avoid a discussion on the arbitrage of currencies (I am kidding), I just tell them, I don't have dollars, only pesos. That takes care of it. Also, these chicas are not very organized. I doubt they remember what they quoted. I had one chica who quoted 200 cop in messages. After arriving and being fed, and drinking and partying, when she was getting ready to leave, I asked her, how much I owed her, and she said 150 cop. So was thinking WTF. Also, how are you going to handle answering any questions if asked by immigration unless you speak Colombian Spanish.
