I am noticing very few freelancers on Sukhumvit Road, nana and Grace hotel. Thermae is not my cup of tea. Bier garden is closed. I am not having much luck with apps.
Where else can I find freelancers from? Paying $100 a pop or two to girls from massage shops becomes pricey after a while.
Any suggestions gentlemen?

Any suggestions gentlemen?
What time of day are you looking? During the day lower Suk is going to be slow for sure. The (relatively) better selection starts after dark. Thursday thru Saturday also draws a bigger SW/FL crowd.
If you do a sweep and don't see anything that appeals grab a beer or something to eat and try again in an hour or so. Or take a ring side seat at Hooters or Stumble Inn and observe the comings and goings. The better one's tend to draw attention right away so be prepared to pounce.
I'll be back in BKK next week. Haven't been since January. Which are the best gogos right now?
It is a matter of taste, mood and time of week, but these ones are quite good; Billboard (Nana), Rainbow 5 (Nana), King Castle 1 (Patpong).
Shark and Dollhouse (Cowboy). Crazy House if you like crazy and Sexy Nights or Angelwitch (Nana) if you like rock music. Good hunting!

Good hunting!
Rainbow 5 and Billboard (that's the one with the carousel, right?) are my 2 favorites in Nana so I will trust your list and check out Shark and Dollhouse in Cowboy. I hope Dollhouse is way better than the one in Pattaya since it's one of my least favorite gogo clubs. Still haven't been to Patpong mainly because BKK traffic sucks so bad.

The BTS and MRT both get you there easily. The problem is getting back to the Sukhumvit area since the BTS and MRT shut down at about midnight. I would be interested in your take on Patpong.
BionicMan, the soi 7 Beer Garten is closed for renovations. When it will actually reopen is anybody's guess.
Beer garden in soi 7 closed? Since when?
It's not closed yet. Will be in the not to distant future though. They say for renovation, but who knows.

Biergarten is open and alive, but not very well.
It is (apparently) going to close for renovations sometime but, if it's anything like the Philippines, saying "Closed for renovations" actually means "Closed for good and re-opening in some other form".
Still haven't been to Patpong mainly because BKK traffic sucks so bad.
Take the BTS from Nana or Asok Station to Sala Daeng Station, easy to reach Patpong. If you want come back after midnight just take taxi, there should not be too much traffic at night.
Did not try angel witch though I have been there a long while back. Just a question, are girls there bar fine able?
Yes, they can be bar-fined.
In Angel Witchbar, bar fine is 700, short time is around 2500.
In Nana Plaza, all bar women can be bar-fined.
The ones that cannot be bar-fined (push you into buying expensive drinks but refuse to go out with you) are in Soi Cowboy.
So, in some way, Nana Plaza is more straightforward than Soi Cowboy.
But Nana Plaza stinks, smelling like a mixture of alcohol, sweat, and [CodeWord140], which is a drawback.
And regarding being rejected by the door men or working women because you're of or not of certain ethnicity, it is no news in Bangkok.
Hi.
Dropping into BKK for a few days this month and my "GF" has just been to see 50 Shades Darker and wants to try some love beads. After a bit of googling I have discovered that sex toys are illegal in LOS but that some of the market stalls around Nana / Nana end of Sukumvit may sell them on the quiet.
Anyone got any tips?

(Terminal 21), you might as well just take the MRT Subway to the Silom Station, which is where the MRT Subway intersects with the BTS Skytrain at its Sala Daeng Station. The advantage in taking the MRT Subway from Asok (MRT Sukhumvit Station) is you don't have to transfer from one train line to another train line in order to get to the Patpong area as you do with the BTS Skytrain at the Siam Station.
But, as you pointed out with the BTS Skytrain, the MRT Subway also shuts down at Midnight. Well, actually, you can often still catch the last BTS and MRT trains passing through this area as late as 12:15 AM. Bear in mind the "last" trains going in each direction depart from the line's furthest departure points at Midnight and this area is mostly in the middle of the various routes. So it is often possible to still see and board trains stopping and then passing through the Nana/Asok/Sukhumvit Stations a bit after Midnight.

I assumed Plan 77 accurately reported the Garden was now closed. The Garden has few fans here but I am one of them. I've had some excellent sessions from girls out of there over the years including my last trip. I know the quantity and quality of girls there is getting worse and worse but I'm hopeful there is a renovation and the crowds start coming back. Doubtful I know but I am hoping.
