Many have been rounded up, jailed and deported. Few can get Thailand visas any more. Those who are still in Thailand tend to work through Tinder. Limited choice.

Probably the best post I have read so far. When you say not to deposit valuables in the hotel safe, do you mean the safety box in the room? If so, where do I keep my passport, cash, credit cards etc?

Use the search function and go through all neddy69 posts in Mombasa and Nairobi section. There is all to know. Hotel safes. Don't forget if you have a master key you can enter any safe and remove some banknotes. I prefer a good german Rimowa Aluminium Hardcase which I complement with a local bought steelchain and padlock.

The Mombasa county has announced that in February they will start "revamping" the public Kenyatta Beach in Bamburi, whatever that means.

But it will be "spectacular" as they say...

That could explain the court-cases threatening Big Tree at the moment.

I wonder what this will mean for Big Tree, Pirates etc.
