East China - Shanghai

I apologize for my sometimes bad attitude on here. Anyway. Here is a real report.

I was walking down a street that was completely empty, on Sunday. It looked like a business district kind of area. Then suddenly to my right I saw a door swing open and 3 girls wave me inside. Inside there were around 10 to 15 young and hot Chinese girls. There were seats inside and all the lights were completely off, not a single light.

My initial impression was that they were hiding from law enforcement. Why else no lights? But here I find myself in a building with a ton of hot girls.

They asked me if I want a drink and I said water. Then after a few minutes I went further inside the building and they had these 'stalls' each with a bed inside. Kind of looked like a changing room in a sports club. At first I thought it would just be one girl but then they suggested two girls. However, the price for 2 girls for 1 hour was just 400rmb.

Isn't that a pretty good price? Even in the back of the shop there were no lights so it was a bit hard to see what the girls were doing, but they used some baby whipes then proceeded to do what might be expected.

You experienced guys here, what kind of place is this I ask you? Its definitely not a spa, nor is it pink light. As there were no lights. The building was in a commercial area of Shanghai with no entertainment venues nearby at all. Inside it was just chairs and lots of hot girls and some stalls in the back. I really don't quite understand what I wondered into, but it was serendipitous.

Please shed some light on what this place is? Are they common around Shanghai?

Thanks for the information on here I was able to save an otherwise boring work trip into a memorable adventure.

I was in town for a couple of days with work colleagues staying at Marriott.

On the last night of the work one of the local operatives took us to his favourite KTV lounge. I simply couldn't understand the girls, the setup. The music was never in English. Then every 10 minutes or so, a parade of young girls would parade through. Apparently these girls could be had on the premises for 1300 RMB.

From my reading of the forum I knew this was steep. Fortunately I wasn't paying for the drinks at this place.

When we did leave someone else dropped the name of Manhatten before I could. Seems I wasn't the only well researched member of our party. Before long our taxi pulled up outside, we were quickly inside and it was great. It was a Saturday night. On a ratio it was probably 2 girls per guy. No shortage of ladies to chat and dance with. Compared to the Towers in Singapore this was a lot less hard sell, more just having fun.

Before long, each of our party paired off with a lady and individually headed back to our hotel by taxi. Each of us seemed to have been pretty happy with our choices and selections. I think the main thing was the lack of pressure to choose. It was easy to just move onto the next table and chat away. Since arriving back in the Aust office noone has discussed the night. What goes away stays away.

Eventually I found (or she found me) a nice cute VN girl. Hot white pants, see cup, long hair. 1000 RMB for the night and morning.

In discussions with her it seemed that the VN girls don't like the Manhatten. She talked about the price pressure from the Pi girls and it sounded very catty. I have no idea of her name or contact details.

I didn't even have to buy a drink at Manhatten, I was pretty full already.

I can't wait for my next work trip to Shanghai especially now that I know my work colleagues have the same interests. We often worry in these forums about our work mates. Seems it might be easier to introduce them casually on the first night and see what happens. As long as no one is running for parliament or public office, it should be good fun.

On my first night in town I managed to meet up with a Filipino nanny whom I contacted through Yahoo. We caught up for a coffee and a walk around the hotel. It's the stalls or extremely tiny "rooms", the little wet wipe bags the girls carry with them, the pressure to get it done in a shorter amount of time than if you were at a sauna, the lack of shower, the general cheapness of the whole thing. Oh and the ability to just walk in and check out the girls without having to commit.

Yes, Chinese girls, not Vietnamese or Thai or anything else. I kind of felt like this place might be a normal business during the day and the girls were just being entrepreneurial by using the building at night. But then again I kind of find it hard to work out what the space is used for during the day since it was just full of chairs and stalls in the back with beds.

I even made a joke in Chinese while I was drinking the water, I said 'why no lights' and all the girls giggled. I didn't interrogate them about prices but it is indeed 400rmb for 2 girls and that is all I paid.

I did feel a little uneasy because as I was sipping on my warm cup of water, they were all staring out the window and 'whispering'. You would never notice this place if you drove past in a car that is for sure.

I will send Bionicman the location details via private message since I don't want this place to be public knowledge. Maybe he can check it out and let us know what the deal is. I think I will be back myself very soon. Realize that they must have the lights off for a reason. If I post the address here maybe LEO will go there. While I was drinking my water a Chinese guy did walk in however, so this place must on the map for locals at least.

[/QUOTE]Stumbled upon a similar area last year in Luwan (Wuliqiao Road.). Several establishments, very dim to no lighting. Almost like a venus fly trap sort of thing. Same action as BBS.

I've desperately been looking for a strip place in this city. I mean the king of place where you could get a nice strip tease, in public (like in Europe or the US) but where you could get an extra if needed.

That kind of places would be great for customers / bachelor parties / etc.

I know this would be doable in a KTV but in fact I don't know of any providing it anyways.

I heard many myths over the years about hidden Japanese / Korean places but found none.

It does happen that BBS will hide behind heavy curtains, or in some cases have the lights off. Usually though it's not a good sign, it means they have reasons to fear the police at that moment (rumors, or they have been tipped off) , they didn't want to close the shop, but they are worried about a raid and want to fly low and be ready to hide if they see anything suspicious. I don't really do BBS but if I did, I wouldn't do one that is in that mode.

[/QUOTE]Same happend to me in wuzhong lu 2 weeks ago. There is 3 saunas and 3 or 4 BBS in that street. On Monday I went there. First sauna completly closed. 2 BBs closed. One dark and curtains closed but girls inside. I finaly went into one sauna where they told me closed but the papa san ran after me and told me we still had girls in another floor in hotel rooms. I did go for it and it was ok.
