I definitely wouldn't be booking hotels and making travel arrangements until it's absolutely certain.

We all need to exercise patience. I would sign a paper to commit, if I could be guaranteed to be able to have holidays in Colombia in Spring 2021. Any less month is a gift from the Sky, and it is an optimistic target.

I asked him if I can get a special visa where I pay a premium on the humanitarian flight, once I get there I will pay whatever they ask to stay at whichever place they require for 14 days, I will even pay official guards assigned by the government to secure the place where I stay.

My lawyer said it's better to wait until 9/1st, they are likely to require self quarantine anyway. Business visa won't work while the quarantine is in place, I tried. I see very few board members having the means to do this. Hopefully some Countries will come up with a test a few days before arrival, then quarantine for few days with another test, and then you get released. I think there are a few Countries doing something like this now, and when you add the fact that Countries are blackballing other Countries from entering it's an ever evolving situation. Additionally, some members might not want to visit a Country with serious COVID problems like what is happening in the USA and starting to happen in Colombia now.

Long story short, I have almost resigned myself that until there's a vaccine, I most probably won't be getting on a flight going Overseas. I brought Singapore as an example because I believe that several seem too optimistic about getting back to normal soon, like if the virus does not exist anymore. Instead, I am afraid we are still far from the tunnel exit.
