Bro,
Sincerely, bro, cherish what you have right now, from a by standard's perspective, you are extremely fortunate. This fucking lockdown made me regret many things I have done while I was in Medellin, you don't want to end up with similar regrets one day.
More importantly, Please keep fucking them paisas for all of us.
I got lucky. I ended up in Medellin for what was, by far, my longest trip (one month) in November. Then, I was itching to come back so bad. I don't know if I had a premonition or what, but when the virus talk started, I booked a flight. Things were changing and shutting down, right as I was supposed to leave. 4.5 months later, and I will never forget (ok, I've already forgotten about 50%) my time here. I genuinely think I will live here, some day. That is, unless a new Medellin comes about, and it has a beach.
Much love and respect and always enjoy reading your experiences but if any chica in Medellin would throw out a cost of 900 mil I would not waste even a second on them, no negotiating, no response other than a thanks but no thanks and move on.
And she is from a pueblo, WTF! Who teaches them that gringos would pay even half this amount for a TLN? Someone really has spoiled this ***** and it will be an uphill battle for every grigo that follows.
Just my take and reaction. Good thing and thank you for moving on and not playing or I should say paying into this shit.
The Tall Man.
Agreed. I played along because I didn't have anything lined up, but I wouldn't have paid 400, let alone + 180 for taxis. I was just laughing as I was reading your post, because I had already forgot about her, and your post reminded me she sent me a video on WhatsApp about an hour ago, as I was banging the coin slot. I just watched it. Some sexy dancing in a bikini. Not going to cut it, but if any of you video guys sitting at home want her contact, PM me.
I try to avoid saying shit on here that will lead to bad blood. This is why I stay away from "send me money" threads. The other reason I keep it brief on this subject is all but the most inexperienced newbies know they have nothing to gain by doing it, so there is no point beating a dead horse. Also, I am a strong believer that we have the right to spend our money however we choose that does not infringe on anyone's dignity or human rights. I can't hold my tongue however when I read illogical rationalizations and excuses. We need to be honest with ourselves or we risk going over to the dark side of romance scams and other weirdness.
I don't know if you clicked reply on the wrong post, but I didn't understand how this related. Valid point, nonetheless.
Last night, SA 18 yo, cute face, on-time, petite. Her photos in SA are all my type. She sent new photos, so it wasn't a surprise that her hair was pinkish-blonde. It would appear to me that a lot of Paisas got bored during quarantine and either gave themselves bangs, or dyed their hair some strange color. I made dinner. She didn't drink. So, I stuck to Ron Zacapa. Lots of laughing. A great genuine connection. She isn't a stunner, but a typical cute 18 yo girl with a killer personality and a closet freak! She didn't bring a bikini. So, it was game on once we got in the jacuzzi. I had her standing over me as I was sitting on the bench seat, and I ate her out before we ever shared a kiss. She asked for a condom and I said they're downstairs. So, no condom. Standard routine, but you would have never ever ever expected this girl to be a nympho, based on appearance or conversation. We had round two later, and she stayed for hours. We had plenty of inside jokes by the time she left. She was extremely helpful with my Spanish, which was refreshing. She swallowed for round 2. All-in-all, a one-way Uber fee of 13.200 COP. Not sure if I'll repeat, but I think it's likely. She's one of those girls that's perfect for a mid-week relaxing night.
I was planning on Pinky coming over, tonight. But, the newly-named Coin Slot, from Thursday, wanted to come over. I told Pink tomorrow, and Coin Slot said 30mins to get ready. The fucking Uber took 1h15m to get her here, and she lives less than 2 miles away. Chalk up another transportation nightmare story. So, the plan is 200 for a few hours, but her mom wants her home by 6p. She comes over in a body suit and overcoat, no panties, no bra. I give her some chips, she says nothing to drink, but I convince her to have a Smirnoff Ice. Jacuzzi, it's pouring rain. Another no bikini episode. She didn't want to borrow the one the bailarina left. She's so fucking tight we can't get it in, in the jacuzzi, and she doesn't want to be propped up because she thinks everyone is watching from the surrounding buildings. We head inside for round 1. I'm so torn between how much I enjoy how tight she is, fucking her, and her squirming away, and on the flip side, her discomfort. Todo sin condon. Round 2 is downstairs in my bed. We start by me going down on her, and she tells me just how she likes it. As if I was feeding on a tit. I banged her for a while. Her mom called 4-5 times, as 6p was approaching. I was sweating and we finally gave up. I could tell she was distracted, and I couldn't give her a good enough pounding to pop, without feeling bad. Gave her 240 and I'm sure we'll repeat. She showed me pictures of her hot 21yo sister who apparently gives Spanish lessons. I might look into that.
So, I think Pinky tomorrow, and maybe I'll catch up on SA over the next couple days, to arrange something for Sunday. Anyone experiencing any hesitation to travel by the chicas? Today's was nervous. I told her the police don't want to be out standing in the rain giving fines. She made it back and forth, no problem.
Does ban nationality makes sense to you? I don't know about Costa Rica. The other countries I know only ban flight origin.
For example, here it says it will allow flights originated from Canada. It does not mention passport.
May be right. I'm not sure. But it makes no sense to allow Americans to fly into Toronto, for example, and then on to Costa Rica.
And the current flights available are all US airlines flying from the US. Only Americans aren't allowed to fly to Costa Rica on them. So I guess I assumed that this would be the same sort of deal.
The only flights I can get from Canada right now are connections through the US. So yes, my flight originates in Canada. But I change planes in the US.
Anyway. Needs more clarification for sure. As far as I can find there are nor will be any direct flights from Canada to CR any time soon.

All of the news prior to the announcement focused on the nationalities of people that would be allowed in. I. e. European, British, Canadian.
But the actual announcement seemed to focus more on flights. Which is odd, since the current commercial flights are US companies flying in with people that are allowed to enter. Costa Rican citizens, diplomats, etc.
My interpretation of all of it is that citizens of those countries can fly in on whatever flights are available, and will be allowed into the country providing they follow the rules as laid out. And that eventually there will be direct flights from those places. And that citizens of countries not allowed in will not be allowed to board those planes, whether they originate in the US, or wherever (same as is currently the case).

First Post
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say Hi and that I have RTFF (went back 600 pages) took me a few weeks but hate to ask annoying questions that can be found by reading. I do have a few posts on the Argentina Private forum but was looking to switching gears to Colombia. Looking forward to getting to Colombia when all international travel is permitted but realize that it might not be until 2021. Any way, just saying Hi and hope everyone is staying safe and hope I can share some experiences when I get there, I'm sure I'll have questions but this is enough for an intro post.
Lumi.
I have been mongering in Northern California for more than 15 years. The best deal and service I can get is the following:
Hourly rate 220-250 dollars for Asians, hourly rate 350-500 dollars for caucasians, hourly rate 300-400 to Brazilian and Latina. The rates I'm quoting are for acceptable girls, all in their mid 20's to early 30's. Younger and hotter girls with reliable reviews goes up to 500-800 per hour. One night will cost 2000-5000+. If you want extra service such as bareback+, it will cost more, some will insist on using a condom for everything, the Korean girls are a bit more lenient. If I rent a penthouse apartment in San Francisco, it cost about 7-10 k per months. (My one bedroom apartment cost 4200 a month). To give you a reference point, a 3-minute lap dance in a half decent strip joint with no touching costs 25-35 dollars.
10 k a night is definitely within the right range if I want a Medellin like experience. Furthermore, I'm talking about paying for one girl only, in Medellin I rarely have one girl at a time, I do about 5-6 threesome and 2 foursomes a week, and it costs less than half of one night in San Francisco for a smoking-hot 21 year old with no rules.
Yes, I lived there for 5 years recently. You're quoting agency rates. Go on seeking arrangement and find independent chicks. I'm assuring you that you can get an all night situation with a college chick for $500, and probably less as you repeat.

I think banning flights from the US and require a covid test before boarding the plane make the most sense. Not all Americans who are sick want to fly to Canada so they can go to Costa Rica or Medellin to infect the people there.

I agree

I agree with you that one can find poon at reasonable rate, if one takes the time to look for it. I had FS with a chick at O'farrell Theater, for $200, in the early 2000. She was young and eye candy.

I use to go there every Thursday for a CBJ for 200 dollars from a super tall blonde, in those small damn rooms, a FS will not be enjoyable for me. A typical FS there is fully covered and you are out of there in less than 40 minutes. Once I discovered the FKKs in Europe, Brazil and Thailand, I never went back there again. For me, spending 200 dollars for a fully covered 30 minute FS with an eye candy who is overt 21, is no where nearly to anything I can find in Medellin.

This is how Asian countries are implementing it. If you are in a low risk country, it is easier for you to move around between countries. Passport is only significant when you are a citizen and they must allow you in so some countries wave the
test requirement.
Thanks for the emotional support! We all belong to this specific era of Medellin; its beauty is unique to our time. The only upside I can see from this quarantine is that it made me appreciate what I had in Medellin more than before.
Costa Rica just announced it would open for international travelers on 8/1 but restricted to the EU, UK, and Canada, passengers must show a negative COVID test result within 48 hours before boarding the plane. (https://www.ministeriodesalud.go.cr/index.php/centro-de-prensa/noticias/741-noticias-2020/1813-apertura-de-vuelos-comerciales-al-pais-inicia-el-01-de-agosto-con-trayectos-limitados-desde-europa) The specific language they used did not mention passports; as long as the flight is originated from Canada, they will let you in. I'm speculating Medellin will apply similar measures. I looked up the requirement for US citizen travel to Canada; it says that we can travel to Canada for essential purposes only. (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/travel-restrictions-exemptions.html). I remember reading one of your posts about going to Mexico for the essential purpose of seeing a "dentist," did you have to present any official documentation for the "dentist" visit?
I cross the border into and out of Canada twice each week. Except for all the other trucks, almost nobody is crossing. Yesterday was the first time I've seen more than 1 car crossing and I saw 7. Normally entering Canada is quick and painless, but the cars were taking 5 minutes and up to clear the booth.
My paperwork makes it simple for me. I'm crossing on essential business. I'm assuming you would need something official to get across. Canada is pretty laid-back, but they aren't quite as open as Mexico.

Visa and taxes
Does anyone have their visa? I'm wondering if living there is worth the tax hit. Thanks!
Does anyone have their visa? I'm wondering if living there is worth the tax hit. Thanks!
The answer to your question depends on your income, technically anyone with a visa who is in Colombia more than six months a year is considered a "tax resident" and must file with DIAN which is Colombia's IRS. Whether you will owe taxes seems to change from time to time and they have a weird formula based on your personal wealth and what is considered in the calculation. I believe retirement accounts such as 401 K's, pensions, etc are not used in the equation. At the end of the day, if you have a good accountant you will pay the difference between what you would of paid in Colombia versus what you actually paid in the USA. So for guys living on a pension with most of their monies in retirement accounts they might not be paying much of anything. Again, you need a good Colombian accountant, and the filing is a joke in that only a one page form is submitted with no back-up and although DIAN and the USA have what I believe is a tax treaty, DIAN is limited in how much information they can actually verify when a foreigner files a tax return in Colombia. And they are very happy when a foreigner pays taxes to them!
Every persons situation is different, and for a person contemplating living in Medellin, they should get with an accountant. Also, DIAN is becoming more and more sophisticated, and there are a lot of foreigners living in Medellin who do not file a tax return when required to, and may have issues in the future renewing their visas.
Perhaps some of the other half dozen members who live in Colombia can better explain and correct what I have said. Again you need to get with a Colombian accountant on this because everybody's situation is different.

I'm assuming that would be citizens and legal residents. Then, when the announcement was made it talked about flights. There are no direct flights from Canada at the moment so this is meaningless in that sense (as far as Canada or Canadians).
All in all I think the intent is about allowing or not allowing people from various countries come in. Whether I like it or not. But I agree, there needs to be a much clearer statement from the CR authorities.
Sounds good, I will give SA a try. Thanks.
You'll want this for your next trip to Medellin. Set your location to Medellin. I have been killing it with SA, this trip, and I never used it on my prior trips, aside from Nov / Dec. I believe I have Premium, and there is a higher level. I don't remember why I have Premium, compared to a standard account. There must be some added features that are worth the payment. Anyway, I have a Search parameter set up to filter my types. I also enjoy using the Search function set to Newest, to try to find some new hotties that might be dipping their toes into this new world, at the ripe age of 18-19. Maybe get them before they have 75 k Instagram followers and a new price point.
I've never used it in the US, so I can't comment on that. I have a fairly private photo, and then normal photos which you can approve access to.
