Does anyone have their visa? I'm wondering if living there is worth the tax hit. Thanks!
I have a Migrant Visa. You need to see an accountant about your particular situation if you are a tax resident.
Looks like the earliest date for tourism is November. We'll see how that goes.

How official is this source? It says: "Septiembre 2020: ejecución planes piloto de corredores sanitarios seguros y apertura de aviación general y de negocios" it loosely translate to: " September 2020: execution of pilot plans for safe sanitary corridors and opening of general and business aviation" I wonder what does general and business aviation mean?

Keep in mind, Medellin is currently under a strict quarantine on the weekends and alcohol sales are limited. The Covid peak is projected to be in August. Who knows how long the State of Emergency / Quarantine will actually last?
Domestic air travel is just now being piloted. If they allow outsiders in during September, it would likely be Colombians and certain visa holders. Tourist visas aren't expected to be available until at least November. November seems like the best case scenario at this point. I can't get into speculation about freight or any other type of air travel that may occur in September.

Perhaps an opening here for the monger well-heeled (and horny) enough to spring for a private charter flight from abroad back to the Promised (Pussy) Land (after what seems to have been 40 biblical years in the desert).
All the statements prior to Friday made by officials in Costa Rica (as reported in the various news outlets) were about citizens from certain countries being allowed in. I'm assuming that would be citizens and legal residents. Then, when the announcement was made it talked about flights. There are no direct flights from Canada at the moment so this is meaningless in that sense (as far as Canada or Canadians).
All in all I think the intent is about allowing or not allowing people from various countries come in. Whether I like it or not. But I agree, there needs to be a much clearer statement from the CR authorities.
This link has no ambiguity. This is pretty much the standard way to set restriction, same thing in the HK link I posted earlier. There is no ban that I have read is based solely on nationality unless I misunderstand the meaning.

All the articles I have read, including the one in Spanish posted earlier have not mentioned passport or nationality requirement. Most of them say "tourists from" or something similar.
I have been mongering in Northern California for more than 15 years. The best deal and service I can get is the following:
Hourly rate 220-250 dollars for Asians, hourly rate 350-500 dollars for caucasians, hourly rate 300-400 to Brazilian and Latina. The rates I'm quoting are for acceptable girls, all in their mid 20's to early 30's. Younger and hotter girls with reliable reviews goes up to 500-800 per hour. One night will cost 2000-5000+. If you want extra service such as bareback+, it will cost more, some will insist on using a condom for everything, the Korean girls are a bit more lenient. If I rent a penthouse apartment in San Francisco, it cost about 7-10 k per months. (My one bedroom apartment cost 4200 a month). To give you a reference point, a 3-minute lap dance in a half decent strip joint with no touching costs 25-35 dollars.
10 k a night is definitely within the right range if I want a Medellin like experience. Furthermore, I'm talking about paying for one girl only, in Medellin I rarely have one girl at a time, I do about 5-6 threesome and 2 foursomes a week, and it costs less than half of one night in San Francisco for a smoking-hot 21 year old with no rules.
My experience about price is similar to yours. One can get fresh college girls for as low as $250/ HR when backpage and other review sites were still available. The price will go up once the girl has some experience, and will eventually settle on $300 or $350. Some hot ones will double the price but it is not difficult to negotiate to reduce the price by $100 or so. During weekend one can even pick up street girls from out of town, some college girls too. The better quality ones charged almost the same amount. There were hotel/motel that were just like casas once you were aware of what's going on. I was so surprised once in Marriott that young prostitutes just running around in the lobby and going from room to room to chat with friends.
Based on my own SA experience, the standard rate is $500 per meet, you also pay for hotel if you need it, so it is not necessary cheaper. The length of the meet I think will depend on both parties and situation. It is cheaper if you make a monthly arrangement. There are a lot of scammers so it is going to take time.
You'll want this for your next trip to Medellin. Set your location to Medellin. I have been killing it with SA, this trip, and I never used it on my prior trips, aside from Nov / Dec. I believe I have Premium, and there is a higher level. I don't remember why I have Premium, compared to a standard account. There must be some added features that are worth the payment. Anyway, I have a Search parameter set up to filter my types. I also enjoy using the Search function set to Newest, to try to find some new hotties that might be dipping their toes into this new world, at the ripe age of 18-19. Maybe get them before they have 75 k Instagram followers and a new price point.
I am in a situation that is opposite to yours. There are many tourists and prostitutes who can't go back to their own countries at where I am now. They are stranded and need income. The SB price is reasonable but still not cheap. The prostitutes always start with a very high price but not much negotiation is needed before they drop their price to as low as 1/3 of the original price. Just today, one of them asked me for some money for food.

I can't get into speculation about freight or any other type of air travel that may occur in September.
Thanks. I have spoken to my lawyer in Medellin last months, he said the following about business visa. I'm quoting him verbatim:
1) The visa processes are currently on a halt due to COVID, the only way to request a Business Visa is if you were currently in Colombia / or when the embassies abroad re-open. 2) The international flights will be closed until August 31st (the government could change this), so even with a business visa, you will not be allowed to travel here. 3) The business visa is similar to the tourist visa in that you can only stay in Colombia for a maximum period of 180 continuous or discontinuous non-extendable days in each 365 days of visa use.
The lawyer mentioned he doesn't think it would be necessary for me to get a Business Visa. He said, in general, the process to get a business visa is fairly simple once the immigration services re-open. I'll call him on Monday to start the application process. It's likely a business visa holder can go in from Canada in September.

https://ticotimes.net/2020/07/23/costa-rica-reopening-for-tourists-from-eu-uk-and-canada
I believe the EU restrictions are based on country of residence. That being. Where you are a legal resident (citizen, landed immigrant, work visa holder, etc.) Canadians can go to Europe now, at least parts of it, while US residents cannot. In that case it has nothing to do with what flight you come in on. Either passport or document supporting residence.
When I flew out of Colombia there were a lot of people with boarding passes that were turned away at the gate as they did not have a Canadian or US passport or documents supporting Canadian or US residence. That was in March. So perhaps I'm assuming Costa Rica is basing it on country of residence. But I could be wrong. In which case Americans would have no problem going there by merely booking through Canada or Europe. But the 48 hour test result window will be a problem for everyone to hit if you have connecting flights, so this is probably a non issue.
The airlines will have it cleared up soon I would expect. They should have a warning if it is based on residence. Which they had in Colombia when I left, but a lot of people ignored it and booked online, got their boarding passes, and got turned away at the gate.
I also live in the Bay Area, and I have been mongering there for the past 30 years. I agree with you that one can find poon at reasonable rate, if one takes the time to look for it. I had FS with a chick at O'farrell Theater, for $200, in the early 2000. She was young and eye candy.
That was 20 years ago. Prices haven't gone up?

I've never used it in the US, so I can't comment on that. I have a fairly private photo, and then normal photos which you can approve access to.
Great, thanks for the advice. I will sign up as soon as I finalize my plan to get back into Medellin. How reliable are the age of the girls on SA, in the case of Facebook, I have to do a lot of work to screen out girls who are using fake Ids. I would so pay for a service that can help me screen out under age girls.
That was 20 years ago. Prices haven't gone up?
Sorry, I did not mean to imply that prices have held steady. Indeed, they have gone up along with prices in general.
However, there was an evolution. For example, in the early 2000's, Korean nationals were granted special status similar to Japanese nationals and EU nationals. Hence, a person with a Korean passport could enter the US without a visa and get a 90-day stay from the day they enter the US. Soon after, there were plane load after plane load of Korean WGs. I discovered them in 2008 and I have not attempted to look for a white girl ever since. The Asian WGs charge a lot less and are so much nicer. That allowed prices to plateau a bit for those who were satisfied with Asians.
As for white girls, I switched to FKKs in Germany, where a session used to cost 50 Euros for half an hour. This was in 2006 and the official cost of a session at the FKKs is still 50 Euros today. A lot of eye candy was lost as a result.
Because of Covid, I was looking at places and flights for 07 Feb 2021 to 16 Mar 2021 as I figured that would probably be realistic to get to MDE.
With the news of Possibly Nov 2020 for tourists I looked at 15 Nov 2020 to 14 Dec 2020 and the prices for the same flights and the same airbnb are higher for the 2020 trip as opposed to the 2021 trip. $825 mil COP more for flights and $687.5 mil COP more for the airbnb, and for a week less compared to a week more in 2021.
I prefer the monetary units be in COP so that everyone from all countries can be on the same page, not everyone here is from the USA.
This cuts into my monger budget! Although I may not be as cheap as Blakman was (hope he returns with more stories) I don't have the means of Sjobs and like to hunt for "Cheapie Charlie" pu*sy.
Any thoughts on the price differences for Nov-Dec2020 vs. Feb-Mar2021?
