May cater toward the Chinese tourist crowd. The massage place may still be operational. I could check it out for you if you want.

I am planning to visit BKK in June. I have been in BKK once before and aware of NANA and scene around it.

This time, I am here for a little longer (6 days) than last time. Would Pattaya be a good option for a couple of days? My preferences are not super specific. Just looking for good girls to bang.

I did try to rtff and find info but I am challenged getting the info which can help me make a decision and proceed with the hotel bookings.

Also, it will be great if someone can advise how reliable are the airbnb's in BKK?

Why not go straight to Pattaya but only book first night initially. See if you like it and make further Hotel bookings as needed. I never saw the need to know what I would do for an entire trip in advance. Go with the flow. See what you are liking. If not that enthused by Pattaya come straight back to Bangkok.

Read the Pattaya thread and Pattaya Hotels Thread. It contains experience of others. However no one can tell you what you will like. You must find out for yourself. Try things.

These raids occurred in business places like bars, not in hotel rooms or on the street with freelancers.

Ladies of the street get raided often but for soliciting, not drugs. So LE can pad their income with fines they charge. Their clients are never bothered by police in these raids, since they are the source of this income.

Occasionally there's a report of a farang who has been drugged.

Don't expect Thai police to be as honest as those in Western countries. But in retired living for several years in total in LOS for nothing but Thai P4 P street gals, I never had a single issue or encounter with LE. Even with P4P being full of drug use in the NEP area I lived in & partook of regularly.

However, it's a fairly regular occurrence in Indonesia. And they don't just raid business places, they set up street road blocks and randomly check people in their cars / taxis for drug possession and drug use. I've not heard of anyone getting raided in their hotel room, but on the street, absolutely.

CH lineup at 9 PM was better than Friday at 9 PM. Some of the prettier girls do not seem to show up on Friday or Saturday for some reason, or maybe show up late. Fines for starting after 9 PM though. Monday 11 pm the line up was even better. Some girls could have arrived around 9 PM but still be in changing room.

I don't know that many girls any more. A lot of girls I knew have left, or simply not attending at this time. Some girls I knew well have changed number. They may have lost there original number due to non attendance for a period. Oom went from 91 to 78 (I think). Noi went from 87 to 63. Used the Asoke Place ST Hotel on Monday night (with Jane from CH).

On a busy night they like to kick you out of the room after 60 minutes. Telephone rings to tell you time is up. However Monday at 9 PM or so was not busy. I asked how much for 90 minutes. They smiled and said 350 Baht. I think I may have actually used slightly more than 90 minutes. Was 10:49 pm when I got out.

I don't think the deal is so generous on a busy night like Friday or Saturday. However I suspect they don't kick you out if no one is waiting on a room. Informal policy.
