For example, there were nights when I went back to the hotel alone because I was holding a hard line on ISG-stated market pricing in the lady bars. I could easily pay the top girls' firm prices, it is nothing in USD, like 20 bucks over market value, but I don't want to be 'that guy' and am willing to walk away from even the most stunning girl if she tries to rip me off on pricing. It sucks to see some other guy take her out the door 5 minutes later, but not too much because I have already done good deeds in the daytime at lower rates in fuckshacks and don't have the burning desperate need to take a nightcrawler. We have those kind for free back in the States, since it's illegal to sell buceta there and they would send a girl to the internet and newsprint stockade for trying to sell what her mama gave her to a bunch of foreigners in a bar somewhere. Even if they weren't sweaty, stinky, drunk, overweight, unable to speak the language, and ridden with STI's that they caught during a 5 girl session in budget hotel in BKK two nights prior to flying into town for 'fresh meat' because LOS simply didn't have enough to offer them. :)

I think that someone reading a year of backposts will know enough to not overpay in Copa..just like Carlos. He came to the scene and mongered this locale for whatever reason, maybe time or understandable hesitation to leave the tourist areas, but at least he knew that R300 was a rip off there and stood his ground, or rather walked right away on it. In America, where he is from, that would be a cheap price to pay for FS. So it was a good showing. The prices that the guys were paying in Help were ludicrous, especially from guys who had many posts to their name on here and should know the difference. Maybe it really is a good thing that Help closed down, cause maybe the convenience and atmosphere made paying higher prices seem worthwhile, maybe? There are market ranges that one can glean with a quick search for "price," "paid," etc. GPGuia.net had the prices posted by the name of the venue (e.g. R$150-R$200 for Help, if memory serves.) As I'm not now in Brazil I can't check whether they still do.

However, which end of the range you personally pay is a factor of your chemistry with the girl and her sense of your wallet size and indifference/desperation.

Thus, mongers don't really have much to lose by demanding to pay at the low end of the range. I actually use the price as a proxy for her interest in me and the GFE potential. She may very well be giving you the "I like you" discount.

And if you want to pay more? I can't fault you too much but I do fault you some even if she may have something you want (pulchritude, completa service, e.g.) I would definitely fault you for wanting to start a GFE/repeat experience that way, for exactly the reason I just articulated last paragraph.

Does someone else here remember hearing a song at the termas that sounds like the Lady Gaga song Poker Face. I remember hearing the chorus at the termas many years ago. I googled it to see if she sampled it, and it says that it's original. Am i crazy here. Everytime i hear that song I think I am at a terma.

Do you have an street names for the places in Niteroi? Was it Termas Excentric? No one says much about Niteroi very often, but it sounds really nice for budget P4P.

I live near ex-Help, and rent rooms in my place (usually with lots of additional free advice). I had people in your situation before, they were in a luxury hotel and needed another place to stay.

Of course there are other hotels, but in Copa they cost at least 180 or so. You can use Motels by the hour, but you need to know how to get the girls there (vipsmotel.com.br is amazing! and close to you. they rent for 6 hour blocks. Not feasible for long term rental). Get girls from karlamodels.net: great service, but be prepared that some of them look a bit rougher then the photos would suggest. They can bring you the portfolio with face photos for a nominal charge. But you pay twice, as there are 2 agencies, one above the middle line (karlamodels) and one below (scortshow). Best deal is if you have your favorite bring you the "book" and fuck her.

If you know your stuff you can get a cheap hotel downtown (guess like R$ 100 or less) but again you need to know your way around downtown brothels or termas.

Be aware that traffic at times is extremely slow. You might want to check into Barra Termas that no tourists use ("400" and Cafe Nice (I think they changed their name, cannot remember the correct name. They have funk parties at night with fuckable available girls).

I am not pushing my rooms, nor hard sell. I give advice (with less intensity) to people who stay elsewhere, so feel free to send me your contact info (including US phone number and times to call you). Make sure to check your SPAM FILTER for my email reply. Talking to me on the phone before you come to Rio might be helpful for you.

needs explanation: starts with the Lagoon in rich south zone that went way over its margins, but just damaged streets and bike paths. Maybe you would have trouble arriving at Solarium termas, but probably could have reached it via back roads.

yes, this is the amazing fact: the same girl that normally charges r$300 may be available for r$ 30 elsewhere. i have seen such examples very frequently. especially about help girls. at the cheaper place they have more constant income, better working hours (office hours are easier to explain to mom or husband), sleep over privileges or other perks that make it attractive to the girl.

and i know the school where the mondego cook teaches, so i eat there for $ 2.50, half the price of a mc donalds happy meal. just the restaurant does not look nice, you have to pick the meals carefully as not all of them turn out perfect, and the customers are not classy. do you get the gist of the figurative speech?

and i find the future famous cook, 3 years before he becomes famous, and when he still has passion and cooks everything personally. in other words, i did many girls 3 years before they started working at centaurus, monte carlo, or l'uomo. once they made it to there, they were too old and too seasoned for my taste.

prices are extremely flexible, and even after over 20 years in brazil it still is news to me that girls knowingly work at r$ 20 places for safe steady income, even if they work for r$ 400 an hour occasionally.

now finding these girls takes a bit of work, even for a local resident with lots of skills and knowledge.

Siqueira Campos 22, just as apt 204 on Av Copacabana 583 do have the following pricing:

R$ 55 for 20 minutes for Brazilians. Most girls are a little unhappy about this short one.

R$ 75 for half hour, normal Brazilian price.
R$ 100 or whatever for gringo for half hour, usually the difference goes to a tout commission, but if there is no tout it goes to the house or to the girl.

I fought hard, to get the half hour Brazilian price for my gringo friends I bring along. Now if anyone can prove me he got R$ 40, I would be extremely curious to know. I doubt that it would be easy for you guys to get even the R$ 75 half hour price ............

so you might have to settle for R$ 90 or 100, but see what you can negotiate. One possibility is to slap R$ 75 counted money into the girl's hand and say you want half an hour and see where this gets you.

Service:

# When I want a quick and cheap session:
Metro to Carioca. First I pass by Rua Carioca 59, then I continue to Rua Uruguaiana 24 and finally to Rua Buenos Aires 85. This casa-tour takes about 20 minutes. Then I make my choice where to session. Usually I end up in BA 85.

# When I want to have a bit more costly quality-sex with GFE in a nice room:
Metro to Carioca. I check out the casas in Av Rio Branco 156, 181 and 185. If I’m in a hurry I go directly to RB 181/Sala 1006 or RB 185/Sala 2114. There I always find something suitable.

# When I want to dig for gems:
I go to VM. VM is the place where you can hit the jackpot. Some of the most beautiful GPs I’ve ever met have been working at VM. The percentage of beautiful girls in VM are small. It’s a sport finding a gem at VM. It takes experience, patience, skill and a portion of good luck.
Go there around 5-6 PM. Do a search in all of the alleys. Stick your head inside ALL of the casas. If you find nothing interesting then position yourself in one of the bars at the entrance to the U-alley, and wait for the girls arriving to work. When you finally se Miss Perfect arriving you jump on her like a cobra. Follow her to her casa and be her first customer that day.

“The higher the quality, the higher the price”? IMO that’s bullsh*t and a very false statement. High quality can be had for a very cheap price.

I'm not knocking anyone for how they Monger throughout this world. Ive been to Rio many times and I've only went to the VM one time. I was there about 30 minutes and got the hell out of there. Its a shit hole. I could never go into one of those filthy rooms down those long dark corridors and get laid. For those brave Mongers that can do it, your dedication to the game is far Superior to Big Trickin's. I just cant do the VM. Ill be back in Rio in November. Hopefully a new spot to replace Help is up by then.

I took a look at these sites.

They are all from São Paulo, so I cannot really comment on them. Some might be real and high priced, some look too suspiciously like US Playboy models.

If you are interested, search gpguia for comments. Some guys analyze backgrounds, if the fixtures, doors, walls, windows do not look Brazilian, that is a giveaway. Of course, they could be Brazilian Playboy models, but that is more likely to cause legal consequences.

[url]http://www.mclass.com.br/[/url] seems to be legit for stunners. Prices are usually in the R$ 250 and higher range. Photos are heavily photoshopped and airbrushed, in playboy style.

I will be going back to Rio for the first time in a few years and had a question about hotels. I used to get an apartment for around 50 to 70 a night when the hotels started raising rates and charging extra for girls. Are there any new hotels in the last couple years, in the 50 to 80 price range, that now allow girls w/o a extra charge. The last place I remember was the hotel debret which changed their policy. I think Rio Roiss was the other but I never liked their rooms.

I also get scared off by VM. too much filth for my taste. But I respect sperto for saying that he found some of the best girls he has ever seen.

Also, there is a HUGE difference in cleanliness between most of the R$ 25 and under places, which are frequented by blue collar workers and below, and the massage parlors for R$ 60 in Rio Branco.

The former are cheap, have some amazing gems, but are a bit rough and dirty. I solve the hygiene problem by bringing along towels, bringing fitted single bedsheets is an even better solution. But I understand that many are turned off by hygiene and also by the other low class customers.

The latter are frequented by Brazilian white collar workers and are usually extremely clean and tidy. Rooms are often better then the plain high class termas room and comparable or better then a termas suite. Most gringos with good taste would love those places, were it not for a slight complexity to get there and pick the girls.

My personal grudge with these white collar massage parlors is that it is hard to see the body of the girls, to verify if the boobs are hard or saggy. But people who stress facial looks will be very happy.

Alinemassagens has a good web site where one can ogle the naked bodies before going to the parlor. Belprazer too. Alinemassagens has excellent deals on 2 girls on one guy, Belprazer has good orgy deals (2 guys with 2 girls)

Yes, the opening hours are missing.

I don't visit these casas for the purpose of doing a ISG list. I visit them because I enjoy myself a lot with these daytime sessions. Specially fun is trying to find casas that I havn't visited before. Sometimes the adresses I visit turns out to be a miss. The GP-casa has moved and the address now holds an office, lawfirm or other legitimate businesses. If so I just apologize and say that I was looking for a dentist or whatever.

I went to the 35 casas on the list, the 7 casas that I listed as closed and about a dozen more addresses that turned out to not being GP casas. This means a lot of scribbling notes that later becomes my list. I have no interest in also making notes of the exact opening hours.

Just about all casas on the list, no 1-22, are daytime casas (Florida and Escandinavia, no 23 and 24, being the exceptions). Daytime meaning that they open around 10-11 AM and close around 6-7 PM. Most casas are also closed on weekends, with a few exceptions.

Regarding the cleanliness my cabin-rating gives a hint what to expect.
