Ok, so I went to bacardi twice.

By this time my gf who is turkish got super sketchy about being there and wanted to leave, so we took off.

Here are my lessons learned,

1. Talk them down to one appetizer per person, you SHOULD pay something. They are a business after all. And 20bucks aint that bad.

2. Before you pay for ANYTHING, check the price. Even water (which was 20$). Before anything touches the table, say HOW MUCH? In any other situation it'd be bad manners, but when surrounded by hookers and con artists, it's just good practice.

3. Threatening to throw people around is probably a bad idea and doesn't get you anywhere most of the time. It's kind of a risk / reward thing, so far it hasn't come back to haunt me yet (It helps if you're MUCH bigger than everybody though). I have a few friends who have licenses to carry concealed weapons, which is way more common than my home country. And they advised me it's a bad idea to do that. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure (Figure out what you're getting yourself into first).

Anyways, that's my contribution. I'll keep on lurking and checking back from time to time as I have been for years.
