Non-compliance is the norm in much of Colombia, especially Bogota. Then we have the reports here of "business as usual" in El Centro Medellin.

It's often the same here in Florida. Bars are supposed to be closed but there's the restaurant / serves food loophole. Many have been opening while setting out snacks or ordering food from nearby restaurants. No, they do not have restaurant licenses but enforcement is scant at best.

Masks are a requirement indoors in my locale but it often doesn't happen. No employee wants to be the one to kick someone out of a store, especially with plenty of loose cannons roaming around. By all reports the major strip clubs here are packed with little mask wearing, none with the girls, and all is normal with the VIP room lapdances. Lockdowns, masks, social distancing, etc. Are just concepts without implementation. And of course enforcement is difficult as it strains LEO resources.

I found some that don't want money, or just ponder about it. One put it this way: "si el dinero suge mucho mejor!. I am not saying I can get them for free but I have no doubt many others like Elvis can if he wants to.

Sometimes I wonder if I want to continue to invest in these relationships because it takes far more time than a simpler p4 p when you have to deal with more than one of them. It's like I have to eat all 3 daily meals multiple times a day.

If one wants to have sex quick or with more variety, he likely has to pay more because it is a trade off between money and time. For someone living here but getting paid in US, he can spend the time to make money instead of finding chicas. He will end up with more money in his bank account by paying more.

If I find a very hot chica cheap, I am going to make her an offer to to live with me. If I find two, I will make an offer so each one come every other day. I think I can afford a few, LOL.

I've got a few questions about the Medellin Quarantine for tourists.

1. How strict is it?

2. Do tourists have to install an app on their phones to track where they go / contact with?

3. Can tourists go outside every day or only certain days based on your passport number (or another identifier like Colombians with their cedula)?

4. Gyms are closed, right? What about the free, public outdoor gyms?

5. Do you have to stay inside your hotel from Friday to Sunday every weekend?

Been twice on two separate trips and wasn't impressed either time. Loutron has the chica quality but its too restrictive and although I do reccomend it once for the novelty, I would not go again. If you can do the legwork and build your roster of chicas, you are aorted everytime.

Correction, the hottest women on the planet. I always try to get in a visit there when I'm in Medellin, nevertheless, I always get a sort of queasy feeling when I'm there more so in the latest location than before.

And of course what will be the deal returning to the US.

I was wondering about estrato's in Medellin. I believe that they go from 1 being the low income, up to 6 being the high income. My question is, are estrato's talked about in normal conversations or is it best not to ask people about such things?

It's probably better to just ask what area of the city they live and work but that's my North American brain working and I'm just trying to learn about Colombia and her people.

Though it's never occurred to me to ask them about it. The few times it's come up in conversations, it was brought up by them.

Personally it's not a subject I would ever bring up. Here's my rationalization:

About 30 years ago I had a friend who was a lead carpenter. His wife also had a good job, so they were doing okay. However, they lived in a modest subdivision in Santee. A big contractor in San Diego wanted to hire him, and it would have been an excellent hire. My friend not only had the skills, he had the personality. People were happy to work with him, they were more productive and did better work.

The contractor took my buddy and his wife out to dinner, then headed back to his house for drinks and to talk business. He lived on the bluff overlooking Old Town San Diego with a great view of Mission Bay. While they were all sitting in the jacuzzi, drinking champagne and enjoying the view, the contractor said something like "I wonder what the poor people are doing tonight?" My friend said "I don't know about the rest of them, but 2 of us are sitting in your jacuzzi drinking your champagne."

That one remark completely ended his chance of hiring my friend.

I doubt if very many of us can relate to the estrato 1 and 2 girls who we're spending time with. Things we take for granted are luxuries to them. Things like drywall and hot water. I feel there's too many opportunities to say something insensitive or offensive, which might take away from the session.

Stick with compliments and safe subjects.

Looks like this weekend and next weekend are going to be compulsory quarantine again from Friday-Monday. So far have been following that strictly and just going out during the week, just curious if people are going out at all. I see a fair few people walking around in my neighbourhood, and also a fair amount of traffic and police as well.
