Guys,

I'm going next month, did some RTFF last month and starting to do more this weekend. Found most of the stuff I've been looking for but a few more things I need to ask.

First, I haven't been to a girlie bar in over two years, first time I'm going sober. I'm not in AA or anything but I'd like to maintain my 18 months without a drink so what are my options at these bars? Will going for a non alcoholic drink scare off the girls, maybe make me seem cheap or less likely to fall for their charms and attempts to secure customer?

I'm an early bird, my usual M. O. Was hit the bars early, between 7 pm to 10 pm to avoid crowds. I know girls are usually less likely to bargain and if they do barfine early, they are in more of a rush to get back and make more money than if they were BF'd later in the night. I guess there is no reason to expect any different in bkk?

In the past I've had success just hanging out in the bars and drinking with girls, getting contacts and making arrangements for the next day. This is partially to avoid the barfine and also because I prefer mid morning and afternoon sessions compared to drunkenly walking into my hotel with a girl late at night. From what I've read, doesn't seem like this is done a lot on BKK but I'm hoping I'm wrong about this.

And that is nothing new, either. It happened to me and guys I knew back when I was coming here (where I live now) 20-25 years ago on vacation. It was one of the reasons I much preferred the Philippines to Thailand in those days. Since the time and distance from USA to this part of the world was so great, I capitalized on the grueling journey by spending a week or so in the Philippines and a week or so in Thailand. I never regretted the time I spent in Thailand. But the reality was when I was in Thailand I missed the Philippines. However, when I was in the Philippines I never missed Thailand. The potential risk of having a bad run of experiences that might easily chew up a day, two or even three days in a row of my vacation time in Thailand, something that never happened to me in the Philippines, was one of the reasons for that.

Then, just as suddenly, it is really easy to have the next 3, 4, 5 or more days in a row provide some of the most satisfying and happy experiences in Thailand one could ever want and all is forgotten about the bad run. Or almost forgotten. I often wonder if I ever would have wanted to return to Thailand at all if the FIRST 3 days or so I spent here way back when happened to be one of those truly awful bad runs.

In your negotiation with the verbal girl, did she say anything about the quality of the Short Time, what might actually be on offer other than whatever is presumed to be a standard Short Time procedure? Anything mentioned like FS only, BBBJ+FS, BBBJ+CIM, Anal, BBFS, Two Hours of Up to You or something a bit more specific like that?

Tooms you may be onto something. I did not get so far as to discuss procedure or the short time menu, but that may be the issue causing so many men to walk away. I'm pretty standard, BJ followed by a few interesting positions and I'm done. I don't think a shortened menu would have queered my deal.

An interesting note: after walking away from the negotiation, down the street and back I noticed two of the mutes and the negotiator all clustered around the guy on the motorbike. The first thing that flashed into my mind was the girls were asking permission to accept a lower price. I watched three men disengage from the mute, then me. That's a good bit of business walking away. I'm not an investment banker but seems to me accepting THB 1,000 twice is better than demanding 1. 5 four times and getting nothing.

The really quite pretty one was in blue colour outfit. I did fancy her. She was similar looking to my Jane at Crazy House but a little less skinny (could easily have been a sister for looks LOL). She kept trying to put me on to her ugly companion. The girl in blue did possibly appear to have a waistline maybe not quite as slim as I like. Sure, she showed me the screen with large 1500. Also tried to sell me on taking both girls. Might try the girl in blue another day, but not the ugly one. I was also fancying another freelancer sitting down dressed in a dark brick red dress, who seemed to be not trying to interest guys, but rather just wait for a guy to come to her, due to the pretty face. The overall standard was quite high, compared to what is normally expected, however getting a great GFE on a first time girl is not easy, in my experience. I usually take my regular freelancer for 90 minutes, so 1000 Baht isn't going to be the deal. We sometimes eat together afterwards. Eating before sex is not a great idea for me. Tends to cut my energy levels for a long sex about. She told me one Japanese customer wanted to take her to RCA, so she charged him 1500 per hour, and he was willing to pay that. However I expect that many freelancers could not resist significantly more money for no condom. Haven't done the survey. Maybe Eih Tooms will know what percentage of freelancers do BBFS on a first time booking.

Massage with HJ is zero interest for me. I would rather have naked pretty girl sit on my lap at Crazy House. Different priorities.

No ability to talk is no barrier for me. I have done the odd fabulous latin girl in the past who had zero English and I had zero Spanish. One girl Momo from Cuba was fantastic. Memories of 2005. LOL Lack of talk can be replaced by kissing and other things, if you know the girl is willing. So the cute deaf girl is on my "to do" list. Probably just need to "chat her" up somehow and see if a GFE may be possible.

Challenging to build the chemistry out there on the street when the girl doesn't talk. She does lip read Thai well. English I am not sure.

In the end was not totally bad. Did a regular girl for a nice 90 minute fuck in between the two bad experiences. The real problem was the extra expense of the bad parts of the day. Wasted money. The wasted time did not matter that much. It is a disincentive to try new things.

It's always great to have known good girls to fall back on, so the day was not a complete write off. Today I can do nothing at all. Maybe watch sport at the pub.

Was fortunate enough to be able to spend a couple of days in Bangkok. In the evenings I visited a good number of Gogo Bars and wanted to share my experiences. During the day I also visited some (more limited) Massage places. Will share those experiences in the massage section of the forum at a later stage.

Billboard (only Gogo I visited at Nana): Good size Gogo with a unique bath / jacuzzi styled "dance-area" on the right when you enter. On the left a Carousel styled dance pod. Quite a large number of attractive dancers, some really get into it (in the bath area, which actually has foam in it; the "carousel-area" is more quiet). For a lady-drink the girls get more engaged (EG lap-grinding) than in some other Gogo's. Good music, pleasant atmosphere.

Crazy House (this and all following Gogo's are in Soi Cowboy): This is one of the most popular Gogo's and is always quite crowded. While I admit that they do have some attractive dancers and a good number of them are in their birthday suits, I have never really enjoyed the atmosphere, I find it is more pushy than other places. Maybe one has to be a regular to be treated well. Also the prices quoted for s / t fun was clearly at a large premium (THB 4k! Maybe she was smoking sth very unhealthy?

Lighthouse: My favorite place as the last stop for the evening, I. E to have some fun with the girls and then barfine one. The dancing is not really anything to write home about (unless there is a dancer who really wants to leave an impression on you.). They have Coyote's and normal dancers (THB 1,200 and THB 700 BF respectively), I found quite a few of the latter category cuter and more fun. And that impression lasted beyond the bar.

Shark: same owner as Lighthouse. Seems to follow the same model, but trying to be slightly more upscale. Downside for me is that the normal dancers are not that hot here and the coyote's (BF seems to be THB 1,500?) , who usually dance upstairs, but come down when less crowded tend to get pricy (also from a Ladydrink point of view). Granted that they really have some stunners.

Baccara: Again one of the more popular Gogo's which has pro's but also some con's for me. Good number of dancers of which quite a few are very attractive, the concept with the see through floor at the second level is great and brilliant views are to be had for those seated in the right area of the first floor. Action at the second floor is fun, but the heavy smoking is really a strong negative as is the pushy nature of some of the dancers. Girls are generally (some exceptions though) very much attracted to the buying power (or shall I say overspending) by Japanese clients and thus at times challenging for older (45+) Westerners.

Long Gun: Fun Bar, themed shows (E. G. Hawaiian dance) that can be fun and entertaining. Girls are quite pretty and not pushy. Ladydrinks go a longer way (timewise, not necessarily also in terms of action) here and all seem to be in a good mood. Good place to spend some time. Haven't tried BF, but would imagine a good result as well.

Raw Hide: Again a fun place with some action happening (all the way to birthday suits). Downside is that they now seem to have a large number of Coyote's (and quite a limited number of normal dancers) who, despite on average looking very good, are less active in providing a good service and instead are looking to maximising their intake. BF for these Coyotes is also steep, though I do not remember the exact amount.

Just a few impressions that might be helpful for some newbies thinking of where to go in the BKK Gogo scene.

However unlikely for a very hot girl. Never heard of having to pay 4K ST for even the very best girls ever in there. LT could be available for 4K to 5K, depending on the girl. I can't be sure since it is a long time since I took a LT. Girls are not hassling me that much, even though there are a lot of new girls that don't know me. If you are back in Nana I recommend try out Twisters, for superior quality girl looks, however not like Baccara girls. Baccara and Sharks are not my style.

Coyotes in Cowboy are largely a waste of time and money and not that special. Coyotes in Nana are very prevalent these days, may well be cheaper, more available for sex, and better compared to Cowboy.

The girls will certainly be interested in going with a sober guy. No need to fear the girl will offer a rushed service. This is more related to the attitude of the girl than the time of evening. I usually order orange juice or club soda. It is never a problem with the girls and I believe many girls prefer to go with a non-drinker. I occasionally order a cheap beer during happy hour. At that time beer is cheaper than water. I'll take a few sips but 95% of my beer goes unfinished.

LOL. I would say the pressure and expectations along with a very bad mood by the morning of the 4th day would be rather intense.

Although Crazy House opens early like 7. 30 pm, no point to turn up till at least 8. 30 pm since early girls are not the pretty ones. Best girls may still be arriving at 9. 30 PM and have to get changed before dancing. 8. 30 PM, the bar will still not yet be crowded. So you choose a seat with best view. Doesn't matter if gets more crowded later.

I love a fuck in the morning myself. However bargirls are unreliable. If you make arrangement for the next day, they likely won't show up, unless very high money offered. So you need a fall back plan. Sukhumvit Soi 4 has bars open daytime, like Stumble Inn, Morning Night. There will still be a barfine.

Many massage joints are open at 11 AM. You don't have to have a massage at all. LOL I don't. More difficult to find pretty girls though. May have to try several places near to each other.

I never drink alcohol before sex (almost never). I may drink afterwards. It's not an issue at all. Bars serve Coke, Coke Light, Zero, Sprite, Orange juice, Pineapple juice, Soda water (known as Soda in Thailand), Tonic (water), plain water, maybe even tomato juice, etc. Soda is best for me, as no sugar, and I drink it slower.

For extra shy newbie girls, they may need 2 or 3 tequilas to loosen up, and become much more keen to be fucked. Likely improves their kissing also.

Could be some highly recommended girl in an MP or could be a regular girl. Several gambles in a row is getting to risky. Imagine if took several Soapy girls in a row on the same day, and they were all poor. Could happen easily.

So I never try more than one new girl on same day anymore, and probably not even on consecutive days.

This may be a strange question, but I would like to know if there is a Thailand equivalent in the West.

A place where mongers / punters can get short-term girlfriends for days, or even weeks, do lots of stuff together without keeping a low profile, all in a laid-back environment.

Brazil seems to be the South American equivalent of Thailand, from what I've heard and seen.

So, how about in Europe, North America, and Oceania?

Not interested in Thai girls. More interested in Caucasian girls, so that's what I'm asking.

And avoid the girls who only want to drink orange juice. They are likely dead fucks. Whenever a girl refuses alcohol, I throw her back and find a different girl. I want my girl at least a bit tipsy when she's in bed.
