Has anyone tried the taco stand in the car park of the Nana Hotel? I do love tacos but I'm afraid of what would be served here. One time late at night on Soi 8 I went into the restaurant closest to Sukhumvit and ordered chicken fried rice. As that humorous fortune cookie states "That was not chicken".

What the heck are you doing posting this in the Bangkok reports thread? It. Elongated in the General thread with all the other sad drivel.

Respiratory health
What are the best no smoking go go bars in Bangkok at the moment? It was bliss straight after they introduced the smoking ban but then bars slowly started to ignore it. Are there any no smoking bars left?
Well to be fair, it is a report about Bangkok.
It's one poster only who complains about stuff like that because he likes scoring cheap points.
He also posts about Songkran and other useless stuff like that.
My post is highly relevant to Bangkok.
If the thread was "Bangkok Bars" it would be another thing.
No worries anyway. It's like water off a duck's back to me.
Has anyone tried the taco stand in the car park of the Nana Hotel? I do love tacos but I'm afraid of what would be served here.
I have seen the food truck, but not tried the product. They don't really seem to do much of a business from what I see, but you can give it a try. If you really have a taco fix, you can walk 5 min to Sunrise Tacos on the corner of Soi 7/1 (shared with the Subway franchise) and get their Cowboy Tacos. I have been to their outlet in Terminal 21 several times and never had issues even when I order fresh toppings like guacamole or sour cream. Enjoy Bangkok, AsianRain.

Delicious fresh ingredients. Food coma nirvana!

The other night I saw they now have a lighted sign on the corner of the building where the pharmacy is, right around the corner from the truck and it can be seen up and down Soi 4. So their business ought to pick up.
LOL. Wouldn't exactly be an appetizing selling point now that I think of it: "Come Try Our Mexican Food! Just Spitting Distance From Soi Nana's Best Stocked Pharmacy!"
I think the reason I haven't tried their food is because they don't sell guacamole. I'm one of those guys who likes to add it to tacos, burritos, quesadillas, almost everything. A couple of times I have asked for it, the lady says no, I register my disappointment, suggest she add it to the menu and move on without buying anything. Apparently my interest in guacamole hasn't inspired her to add it.
Speaking of which, that is one of the things I like about the Sunrise Tacos chain you mentioned. They have very good guacamole and understand the value of it to many with a desire for Mexican food in that they feature a small bowl of it as a 95 baht "Add Guacamole" item on their menu. I prefer Sunrise Tacos' food to La Monita's, which many others prefer. However, the 60 baht rice pudding dessert at La Monita's restaurant location in Mahattun Plaza on the even side of the Ploen Chit bts station is an awesome good dessert for a pittance.

No worries anyway. All my posts are relevant to mongering topics and not about street food. So who are you talking about? Goats was sticking up for you lol. It was me who was asking why on earth you would post that in the Bangkok reports thread which is reserved for mongering topics. There is a general thread for this useless drivel, a hotel thread for discussing hotels, a photo thread for posting photos, a photo discussion thread for photo comments, and political thread for discussing politics, a Thailand expats forum for members who live in Thailand, and ......... I think you get the point. These categories are there for a reason right? Or was Jackson just dreaming when he made them up. I used to love it when Jackson would interrupt the useless drivel with his message saying that the forum is for discussing mongering in Thailand and let's get back to discussing it. Alas, even he has given up.
Imagine if we just had a thread for each city. The members would have to weed through so much krap, they would never be able to read any reports. Give it a rest man. Anyways, at least you post mongering reports sometimes so I apologize for taking out my frustration on you.

Mr. Tooms. You are always posting good reports as well, but please realize my points and post your reports in the apppropraite thread.
Mbsl65, what is wrong with you???? The Philippines Photo Gallery is the best on ISG. Why do you want to destroy it? Back out. Stop your nonsense now.
As for you AskeAske. You get upset in the Philippines photo thread when members don't post photos and try to say it's not an ISG rule to post comments in the photo thread. What's the difference? Give your head a shake man. Think twice the next time you swear at me from behind your keyboard or phone screen. Good luck to you mate!

And finally whooorman. You know I love you man. Ever since Ninja at Sniw White told me she was in love with you, I knew you were the read deal. I could never get angry with you mate. You can post where ever you like about whatever you want. That's freakin hilarious. Last time I was in Climax I didn't smell any smoke. Lol 😂
What are the best no smoking go go bars in Bangkok at the moment? It was bliss straight after they introduced the smoking ban but then bars slowly started to ignore it. Are there any no smoking bars left?
I came home from recent mini gogo bar tour stinking of smoke on the clothes. I did not really pay attention if any had no smoking (sort of doubt it), but Crazy House has always been the worst bar for smoke (most customers smoking) and loud music (although less loud than a disco). CH never stopped smoking for even a moment. Try to stop all the Japanese from smoking. LOL. The girls have to go outside to smoke.
Today I find out a Soi 4 street girl I fancied, with big sexy lips and busty, but did not yet actually session, is now in Angel Witch. That will make me think twice about doing her. Her price has probably gone up about 1K or more and add to that a BF and drinks. She isn't nearly as appealing now. I suppose I can have a look at her more scantily clad at least, and reassess. Haven't been in Angel W for years. Was too boring last time.

My short Thailand trip
My Thailand travel.
I had scheduled a ski trip with some buddies it was supposed to be a 10 day trip. I haven't gone with them in 2 seasons and I was overdue for a break from the wife. She goes on girl trips herself so it was normal for us. I got thinking and scheduled a trip to Thailand instead but told the wife I was going skiing. I had reserved 4 nights in Bangkok and 3 nights in Pattaya. The flight was awesome but long and transfers and customs was great but I also read up on it. I was really feeling the jet lag especially after staying up all night when I first got there, Wow this place is great. I visited Thermae bar the 2 nights I was there. I walked around a lot and explored the crazy busy city.
So the hard part was when I would chat and text with the wife and the juggling of the time zones the one in Bangkok the one in Eastern coast US and where I was supposed to be in Pacific coast. Well my conscience got the best of me and I bought a one way to catch up with my buddies and make it good. It cost me a lot of $ but I am glad I got the chance to see the city. It was a stressful but enlightening adventure I will be back on better terms some day.
Thanks for the great tips and info on this site.
