Quite a few dealers on that side of Constitucion, even an old woman. Apparently they were not sanctioned by Sinaloa cartel, so they are shot dead.
I have seen 2 guys shot dead in the bar next to Libra parking, one inside and one on the street. An old guy was shot dead in front of the barber shop. One was shot in the leg by policias in front of Ibiza ect.
These are street dealers earning $50 a day max, but willing to risk their lives for it.
This is vey disturbing My guess there was some sort of rivalry between street dealers. The police need to have some officers walking a beat in the area. The area by CeCe hotel is where most of the dealers hang out.

I want to know if she is ok or not. Thanks.
I notice a lot of guys walk around fucking with their phones on the streets. Not sure if that is a good idea. Not only do you lose situational awareness. A shooter may misunderstood your phone to be a camera filming the shooting. And the next thing you know, you wake up in the hospital with a hole in you (if you are lucky).
Must have been a stray bullet. There is no reason why they would be involved. The police have allowed the dealers to operate to freely in the Zona.

I think these shootings happen more often than we realize. Surprised I never saw one of you mention hearing about a guy that was killed in the alley last week. One of my chica friends told me it happened around 10 pm on the 23rd. She said everyone went about their business as if nothing happened. Perhaps we should avoid walking through the alleys for the time being just in case. Lately I only go down there when Im staying at Cascadas to meet with my regulars so no reason to really go through the alley anyway, for me at least. Proceed with caution.

Yup, my phone pretty much never leaves my pocket when Im in the area. Gotta be alert at all times.

The problem, for me anyway, is the Mexican people, are both short, so not physically intimidating, and not dressed like usa gangstas, and much more quieter. Compared to usa everyone kinda minds their own business. So I let my guard down but I really shouldn't be walking around any of these streets.

The biggest difference so far this year is that they have already had about 40 women killed. This seems to be getting people to make more noise and they are expecting a large March next week March the 8th for international woman's day.
