Dubai Reports

Was browsing through the summer posts (which I unfortunaltey missed) and found these interesting points.

I don't mind the odd ratchet up for taxi fare in the morning but wholesale moving of goalposts is just not on in my book and like you say she will quickly be shown the taxi rank.

There is the occassional time when the chemistry doesn; t work and she wants to go and I'm happy to let her, a good nights sleep being the preferable option but this is by mutual agreement so not a foul play in my book either.

i took a trip to seavie to show it to my (1st time) visitors. i also took my new pa (miss a, kindly introduced to me by wr, but there was much more introduction from wr that we can bother to remember :) ).
first, the important stuff, the band is not up to speed. however the core members have lost nothing of their energy.
secondly, the meat market. i was not buying, and being escorted by a nice tall filipina most girls stood away from us. however i think that the number and quality of the girls was a little bit lower, also the number and quality of the buyers was a little bit lower (i am half joking here). actualy i saw very little transactions getting agreed there. we left at 0215, too early to see the actual fire sale.

btw wr, miss a really, really appreciates and respects you. she consider herself lucky to have met you.

A few pals and I finished playing pool at Finnegans last night (next to Amnesia), and decided to go to the Indian mujra club downstairs for a bit of late-night fun, but we were told by someone 'in the know' that it's also closed.

Apparently the Indian club is also owned by the same guy who owns Amnesia, and no-one knows when his clubs will re-open. He also owns the Arabic club downstairs (still closed also), which was a hang-out for senior LE, and where a local guy once offered me a reefer - lucky I said 'no thanks', as it turned out he was LE.

PS - I don't know who owns Amnesia and the other clubs (I never asked and never cared), but I can guess who it is. ;)

It would be nice if some more experienced traveller to dubai can create a cheatsheet on dubai with some of the basic info. It would be specially helpful for newbies. Some basic info such as:

- Monger friendly hotels

- Top bars/clubs to visit

If possible, can some one please privide the list of top 5-10 p4p clubs in Dubai.

The Club is owned by Bin Sullayem I was told, the UAE International rally champion. This fact adds to my surprise why the club is still closed, not to mention why it was shut down in the first place.

Well that is the best part of the rule as one gets older and fatter it is easier to maintain.

Of course, as you admit to being both older and fatter than some, maybe she would be a questionable 50:50 for others.

My rule cannot work for all though, but does depend on taste, if you like em small, as I do, then its good fun to try and maintain.

I am having problems here as the girls are a little bit taller, therefore heavier and I have recently lost 7 Kg, so the rule is getting difficult to achieve. In my Kazak posts there have been some notable departures of late LOL.

I will be visiting from Bahrain after a few months away.

I would be grateful if any members could let me know where these girls hang out and the current rates etc. Public reply or private message is fine.

The downside is that I need to work on her English but the upside is that I get to be her English teacher too so doule whammy of having excuses to see her :-) It also give nice teacher\student fun at the end (or more usually about 5 minutes after the start) of every lesson.

greeting to all of you folks,

i just wish to present to you my recent encounter, as a word of warning from what may happen if one is not applying the lessons available here.

i arrived around midnight at the airport and shortly thereafter at the hotel. they guys seem to know i am in a hurry arriving at that time of the days and everything was well prepared. even 10 minutes later taxi was on hold, so far so good.

this time i headed to york, actually to avoid another girl who states to love me so much and... (okay, you know that anyhow), who is staying at regals.

no pay and friendly greeting by the security, but access was vurtually denied by waitresses who seeminly intended to force me to buy - i am not hunting for a beer immediately, so it was somehow anoying. later i moved around with an empty bottle in my hand, just to escape the sales force herassment.

do not know why, but i was somewhat in bad mood. not really relaxed, not really horny - actually i shold have gone to bed alone.

at 2 am i wanted to quickly set a deal, the fsu girls i was favouring where in discussions, so i approached, wonder what, a prc. i am not favouring them, but it happened.

i offered aed 500 and yes or know, uups, am i back to business? f...ing with, s...ing without, as it is my standard. she was talking to me in an terrible english, worse than mine, and i was not interested. make the deal yes or no. finally she accepted and we went. on the way to the door i realised i did not ask my standard questions, so at least i asked her how long she will stay next morning. 8 a.m. was fine to me and, wonder why, no further questions.

on the way home in the taxi she was basically down on the backside all the time, just not to be detected by police. while i found that stupid i was just ignoring it.

we arrived at the hotel room and, any alarm bell should ring now, money front. well i did not mentioned this at york, but rather than kicking her out at that stage i relucatantly agreed to it.

well you may know now what will come, and you are right. speeding up to get the nedfull done, but she rejected the bbbj. she insisted having told me that at york - folks she did not, but does this change anything. she was working forward the cut and leave, and after calling "someone" to pick her up she insisted to leave, as she would be unable to make me happy. but she got the money.

one may ask now why i do report my own stupidness here - clear answer: as a warning to others.

what went wrong? i belive a lot, e.g.:
(1) i was not in good mood, not really willing to play the game and concentrate on it.
(2) no clear negotiations and consent at the bar, in this case the york.
(3) no corrective action when it was clear she would take her advantage, when she was demanding up front.

i am not new to dubai, would say experienced to some level in the game at dubai, but chained together a number of wrong decisions or actions.

certainly i have learned my lesson, or better i got reminded what i am already aware off.

but for sure if it should happen again, the girl will found its pic uncovered here as a warning to fellow mongers.

just to complete the story, at my last trip prior to ramadan and yesterday i had some really remarkable experiences, but not necessarily worth to be reported in greater detail. it is not my intention to get you jelous, but raise awareness of the traps.

Point two is the most important to me and as part of my "in bar" negotiation I also like to agree when payment will be made. I did speak to one of Princess L's (my regular girl) friends last week who told me horror stories about guys taking them back and not paying them in the morning. This apparently has happened to a couple of her friends, not to be racist but they both said with Indian clients, so needless to say they get careful and its a balancing act when to ask for payment.

If the girl demands payment up front it rings alarm bells for me and no matter what the feeling is in the bar I would always refuse politely and move on, I know that they can trust me so look for the same in return but can sometimes have sympathy with them. It sounds like you had a really unlucky turn though. I know what you mean about not being in the mood and I'm sure some of the other mongers do to, sometime just everything goes wrong no matter how experiened we are.
