Google maps is fairly accurate for streets and alleys based on looking at alignments of satellite photos and the Maps, what is not accurate is the pin placements for particular Hotels, etc. I don't use Uber, but it could be relying on GPS to determine your location when it can get an accurate reading, e. G. If you are in good satellite signal outside a building. A girl I know uses Uber, and sometimes she is in conversation with the driver, re how to get to her, so must mean they can't determine exactly where she is. One bad feature is sometimes Uber car bookings just cancel for no reason, perhaps they found an easier customer, and then you have to book another. So far Uber has not been tempting me to try it. At Baccara specifically, it is because of the Japanese patrons. Again, not because one guy overpaid. But because over the last few years a majority of their patrons have been overpaying consistently night after night and putting up with shitty attitudes from the girls. These girls are spoiled rotten by their Japanese suitors. Most of them are on a healthy allowance ranging from 30 K to 50 K a month. So, there is no motivation to meet you after closing hours to still make that extra 2000.

You pay your own way to Ekkamai either by taxi or lugging your luggage on and off the BTS. You wait for the bus in a non-aircon station. The folks on the bus are indeed locals and not particularly farang friendly. You need to find your own transportation in Pattaya from the bus station, and likely wait in the back of a baht bus to fill up only to be dropped a decent walk from your hotel. Did I mention it can he hot as hell or raining like crazy?
Taken all together: for slightly more money, door to door service, and always in aircon; Bell Travel Service can't be beat. Or you can pay triple the price and arrange for a private taxi.

Bell Travel Service is great if you're going to and from the Bangkok airport to Pattaya, but it was a miserable for me when I went from Pattaya to my Bangkok hotel. The Bell Travel van had to make numerous stops at Pattaya hotels to pick up passengers. It then went to its local Pattaya terminal to pick up more passengers. After loading as many passengers as possible, the Bell Travel van headed to the Bangkok airport to drop off passengers. From the airport, the Bell Travel van made numerous stops at different hotels throughout Bangkok to drop off passengers. My hotel on Soi 4 was the last stop. With Bangkok's notorious traffic jam, I spent more than 8 hours on the Bell Travel van. My bladder was on the verge of busting. I was not happy that I wasted an entire day riding in a van.
After that experience, if I travel to and from hotels in Pattaya and Bangkok, I take the bus. When I'm in Pattaya, I always ask the hotel to arrange a private taxi or the hotel car to take me to the Pattaya bus terminal. I can't remember the cost, but it wasn't too expensive and easier than hauling my luggage on and off a baht bus. In Bangkok, the Ekkamai bus station is perfectly located to take the BTS, but this only works if your Bangkok hotel is located near a BTS station and you don't have lots of luggage. For me, this is the cheapest, quickest, and safest way between Pattaya and Bangkok.

ST and LT prices are not fixed in stone. Negotiation is possible. I have not paid as high as 6 K for a LT although it is quite a while since I took a LT. So I was not even aware girls are asking that much.
Some top girls have strong negotiating power because they get called and BFed by customers fairly quickly. However not all girls are that popular.
Some have experienced a decline in popularity, and may reduce there prices. I have been able to get to Jane more frequently this year than previous years.
