I had noticed a typical thing about this kind of hotels. There used to be 1 or 2 room-boy / s sitting on a bench beside the entrance door. As soon as I (or anyone without any luggage, for that matter) entered & proceeded to the reception he got up & followed me to the reception desk, For me this was sort of a give-away of the in-call facilities available there.

If you also think in the same way, then may be you can apply the same test at this new "Tourist International".

The place is small tried to detail out as much I could.

If you see near LE there is a big temple. The temple faces towards BP Lane and back side faces towards LE.

To the right hand side of temple is siyas den (its 2 storey) and behind siya's also there a building where there are lot of Nepali chicks in that building. Currently I am exploring this and this place looks good.

For me it was different. Nobody followed me to reception. It was simply me saying "I need a room and a girl". And then the question for AC or non-AC came up and then I paid and was then lead by someone upstairs to the upper-most floor. There was the line-up.

I think the problem is in India service is pretty much always bad. Even what you reported with the more mature one doesn't sound like I would want to have. So, maybe I just don't care that they no longer exist and I can forget about Amrut too.

Another problem for me as a foreigner is the bureaucracy at any hotel check-in. Any hotel that is not known UP-FRONT to be a service location. I have been denied check-in to this Rajdhani hotel and others around here just for being a foreigner and some C-form bullshit. I used to have a thing for India but I'm thinking to just forget it, get my work done faster and move on to Thailand and Philippines just to have it done once, and then back to South America.

If I'm told not to go in one building where I would get looted but go in another where things are alright, and there is no way to distinguish one from the other, then it's just not doable. And I don't know if I'm in for mechanical service and all these pathetic restrictions of these girls. The Hotel situation is horrible, especially for us foreigners with all the bureaucracy and spying on and following of us foreigners by the police. And if I made an arrangement with a girl to a specific hotel I wouldn't get into that, then what? It's just too much bullshit here in India it seems. My friend, I am not able to figure why do you have this fascination of going to the worst area in India and then complain? The usual mongering scene in India isn't the same as in Thailand or Philippines. Not many a seasonsed mongers in India venture into areas like BP simply because they are the lowest rut of the society and there are too many risks associated with venturing in such localities. Also, the quality of birds there won't be up to satisfaction and it like shooting 1 in 1000. You come to India and being a foreigner choose the worst possible place to monger, then you are bound to be disheartened.

My suggestion. Get out of that shit of place and find a better hotel to stay. As far as mongering is concerned, maybe connect with brothers here for a reliable SP / Indie to have a "decent" experience. Anyway, to really put the intel on BP out there, we have to PRECISELY identify he houses. It is not that hard, just requires more precision. Just like I have put a geolocation marker into Varsha Lodge some 10 years ago, we can do this for BP as well.

So to start, the first trijunction from Kedari Chowk, where the Budhwar Peth Road comes from the left, there are the following houses on the left side of the street.

1,2,3 full multi-story houses.

A small one story.

4 full multi-story house.

A small one story.

5th full house.

That 5th full one is already at the level of the second trijunction where Budhwar Peth road goes out to the right.

So how hard could it be?

If you go on, there are more. Until you come to this black shrine type thing in the middle of the road.

Then there are stores with clearly displayed signs which can help in laying out the land. Some restaurants. I should just go through playing telephone call while running the camera so I can remember these signs. The most prominent is some kind of "Green" restaurant.

If I could meet up with someone who knows this place and can point out the right and wrong places to go, I can make an exact and locatable working description. I am willing to do that.

To me this is a cool challenge that makes it worth more than even doing any activity inside.

Question: if I go in and don't find anything appetizing, can I go out?

Second question: this "looting", how exactly does this work? I'd like to know exactly how this works because I believe it can just happen anywhere. The best way to avoid it is to understand how these situations develop and how they can be broken or escaped as they are materializing.
