Finally got a chance to get over to Kabalagala to check out the weekend nightlife. It was after 1am, and my two friends and I went over to Capital Pub. What an experience. And I don't mean that in a good way.

In the course of just trying to walk across the place over the bar, I think I was grabbed at least twice and ended up having to fight through the *****s just to get a beer. Within minutes we were each 3 or 4 deep in unattractive, agressive *****s who just didn't know when to stop. The longer we stood there, the bigger the crowd of aggressive and unattactractive prostitutes grew. We found if we kept moving we stood a better chance to at least look around a bit.

At one stage, I found a very pretty girl. Unfortunately the the trip to the bar to buy her a beer was too much. Some drunk, ugly girl first started grabbing me, and then turned to biting me. Repeatedly biting me on the back and shoulders. At first I tried to be nice about it, but it was relentless. After finally losing my cool and telling her to knock it the fuck off, I actually had to push her back away from me.

We lasted about 30 minutes and finally decided to get the hell out of there. It was impossible. On the way to the next bar, I made the comment that you couldn't move in there without three women plastering themselves to your testicles, and my buddy commented that he never that that saying that would ever be a bad thing. Until then.

I don't know what it is like midweek. But it is impossible on the weekend. There are plenty of normal bars in town to meet women. Capital Pub is not on the list. I'd recommend any one of a dozen places instead.

first. don't go to capital pub before eleven (unless you are a big pool fan) second. don't go there on friday or saturday as those days tend to attract a lot of idlers.

third. sorry about the groping. but my personal feeling is a lot is better than none. what i do is quickly select the best available option and use her to ward off the rest. then i just keep an eye out for what best suits my fancy and bobs your uncle. and always try to sit with your back to the bar so you don't have to move for drinks and you can deal with the crush head on.

the thing about idlers is they tend to have rep001tered by midnight. after that capital is the place of choice because most other worthwhile bars are winding down.

the best days and times for mongering tend to be sunday to wednesdy after eleven till two. the quality and ratios by then are so much better good luck.

First. Don't go to capital pub on the weekend I.e. Friday and Saturday. Way to crowded with idlers looking for relief from the long week. Go there from Sunday go Wednesday.

Second. Don't go there before eleven and get out by one. That is the window. You miss it and you are fucked.

The thing about capital is that it's the only place guaranteed action almost every night. Always a chance of getting non pros if you know how to look. Granted about 50% are are hardcore, but 30% are part timers , but also about 20% are gals just looking for excitement and new experiences.

But you have to play the game right.

Getting hassled is not fun. No interest at all is a lot worse. Trick is to station yourself in a defendable position.
