Crime, Safety, and the Police

I have been in Tijuana only Sundays recently, each time there were armed security guards at HK's front and back doors all night.

Wonder if the bros saw them on other days or other times?

HK's owner is too cheap to pay for armed guards unless he really has to. Even managers and captains work only on call when needed, not everyday. If HK is guarded by armed security guys every day, it seems HK is under serious threats, likely causes would be some cartels are trying to muscle in, extort HK for taxes and threaten with deadly violence, shooting, bombing or torching.

Last year a HK manager who handled cash for the club, Augustin Mendez, was assassinated on Via Rapida on the way to work by a gunman on motorcycle, the MO of cartels' sicarios. My wingman said cartels will keep whacking more people up the chain of command until they get what they want. So far have not heard more murders related to HK.

Any intels will be appreciated as I don't want my ass shot up while drinking with wingmen and romancing "fish sauce" putas in HK.

Every place you go in Tijuana pays cartels. So its not as if you are safe at a revolution bar with locals and tourists. Nothibg is safe. Mexixo future, its $$, its power is up in the air for the taking. Its not like USA where all this has been decided already.

I remember when this happened and you were trying to tell the board that it was HK ownership that had him killed because he was stealing from the club. I'm not sure why yo like to spread gossip on things you know nothing about. Your wingman must know how gullible you are and feeds you these lies knowing you'll believe it.

My advice if you don't want to be shot up in HK is don't post pictures of known sicarios on a public forum and constantly tell the whole world when you will be in HK. Also this advice goes to everyone that posts detailed info on this board especially those of you that talk about how much cash you will be carrying on you when you cross the border. It's not necessary and leaves you open to the wrong person trying to befriend you and take advantage of you. Remember this is a public forum.

I never said HK owner had Augustin whacked! My guess was CJNG has been trying to muscle HK to pay tax. They killed 2 Sinaloa's street dealers who ran into Chavelas' back door for protection and died there.

HK security guards told me one died, one severely injured.

I guess I will have to keep a better history on the ridiculous or made up stories you tell so I can refer to them with more ease. In this case I might've confused the firing of Adrian with the killing of Augustine.

I'm not sure what point you were trying to make with the guys that got shot and tried running into HK.

In regards to me knowing little about the real Tijuana I'm more than happy for you to make an argument on anything I've posted not being correct. I also enjoy the fact that a person who doesn't speak Spanish, has never lived in Tijuana or spent time going to birthday parties and other events with cartel members would educate me on how things really are in Tijuana.

You can sort of tell who's street smart and who's not amongst the regulars here from some of the posts on this board. Understood that we're all posting here under fictious names but, as you've pointed out, this is a public forum (and one that I've heard is read by some of HK's staff). All that talking and sharing of personal info is unnecessary and does leave you somewhat exposed (IMO). If you really wanted to, wouldn't be too hard to find some of the posters here in person in the clubs from all the info they provide here. And some of these same people wonder why they occasionally run into trouble when they're down in Tijuana.

It's one of the reasons I'd never meet up with anyone from these boards in Tijuana (LOL). IMO just keep your mouth shut when it comes to certain topics, keep a low profile, and have a good time!

I met him as well. He was hanging out by Cohuilla st and Constitucion. I talked to him for awhile and she showed me his badge after asked him what he did for a living. But he never asked for any money. So I believe was real undercover cop. He says that the cops are mainly interested in arresting the drug suppliers and not the dealers. This one girl told me that the police only lockup the dealers for 3 days.

And you can leave me a tip for a promise to protect you in the alley.

I saw armed private security guard in the evenings of both thrusday night and Friday night May 4, 5 evenings. Only in the evenings. And I only use the back entrance so that's where I saw him.
