I started watching the lectures of this interviewer regarding viruses:

Basically all humans on the planet get all 8 herpes viruses during the first decade of our lives. So where does all the fear of this being sexually transmittable come from? Another lie imposed to reduce the amount of sex and reproduction in the world? I think so.

The only reason we don't get symptoms from all the dousins of herpes viruses is because of our immune system. But (not part of that lecture) all vaccines reduces the efficiency of our immune system too.

So the more we vaccinate us, the more ill we get from all the herpes viruses we already have in us.

The main problem is that the syncytin-1 protein, which shares similar genetic instructions with part of the spike of the new coronavirus. That same protein is an important component of the placenta in mammals. If the vaccine causes the body to make antibodies against syncytin-1, it has been argued, it might also cause the body to attack and reject the protein in the human placenta, making women infertile.

Now as it goes, the protein is not 100% identical. It is just very similar. And according to this virologist professor, all viruses mutates every time it copies itself. So if you give yourself a vaccine, you start the roulette every millisecond for the rest of your life. And if you are lucky and hit green on the roulette, your body will start rejecting the syncytin-1 protein. And the women who takes any of the vaccines will be infertile. I am starting to believe that this is not just a pfizer / moderna problem. But it goes for all the vaccines.

The corona viruses also has one difference from most other viruses: it has RNA in it as opposed to the great majority of viruses containing DNA. What this RNA does to human DNA is also a lottery. And that is most likely where the main risk in terms of side effect lies.

Even very large brands like Trek or Specialized contract out frame manufacturing. Giant and Merida have their own frame manufacturing facilities and they make frames for plenty of other brands. Most large brands do their own R&D and define the quality control and that is their selling argument. Carbon layup design comes from the brand, ensuring quality control in the manufacturing processes is done by the brand and manufacturing facility together, all this is not trivial.

Outside Asia, I think Time has frame manufacturing in Morocco. BMC tried to automate frame manufacturing with robots weaving carbon fiber tubes but didn't get very far and they stopped talking about that years ago. Cervelo used to sell a frame fully manufactured in the US, but the frame price was 10 k USD.

A lot of the Italian brands just paint the frame, put a sticker with an Italian flag on one chainstay, another sticker with "Passione" on the other chainstay and job done. Nobody thinks that Cipollini has anything to do with frame design.

Mérida owns about an half of specialized so they must be their main (or only) producer.

Look has a factory in Tunisia I think but to my knowledge, until recently, time still manufactured their frames in France.

But the brand has been cut in two and sold and I'm not sure the frame making will stay in France. Pedals are moving to Portugal.
